@@Domniqq_ with enough restoration, you can almost turn your brain off at the boss, it was a slowish 5 phase for me but that was made up by the ecthar 2 phase
This was soooo funny to watch!! 😂 Because this takes me back when i tried to do this for the first time WAY before Prismatic came out. It was FAIL after FAIL after FAIL after FAIL!! Not only that?? But i was struggling to figure out which class would be the easiest to do it solo. This took me WEEKS to accomplish mainly because i had to practice the encounters and also because i thought once i got to final encounter, it would be free so i didn't practice it. I made it to final encounter flawlessly 4 times, and died all 4 times... Lol I was seeing the symbols so much that i was getting them confused and occasionally deposited the wrong one and died... The bright side is, after the fourth death i decided to practice the final encounter until i felt i had it mastered. Once i did, the very next run, after weeks of trying and seeing other ppl on my friendslist with the solo flawless emblem, I too had completed my first solo flawless of Ghost of the Deep on my Titan solar subclass 😌
I recently played the first encounter solo on my prismatic warlock and came up with a loadout so devious that it makes the first encounter look like a cosmodrome public event 😂
This dungeon's still one heck of a beast, eh? I remember grinding my gears against this dungeon when it first came out and being completely lost on how to make progress solo. The moths, the sheer count of Hive... Ghosts of the Deep is a beast. There's no taking anything lightly in here. I was a Warlock main - I did this during Season of the Deep with a Sunbracers build. I learned how to do the Restoration Loop and learned how to tear through the enemies like that. Even still, this was one of the most stressful Solo Flawless runs ever. Knowing that even through Restoration x2 you could still get nuked by moths... Congrats on the Solo Flawless! Ghosts of the Deep is brutal, and the last one I ever did. I don't know how hard Warlord's Ruin is since I stopped playing before it came out, but this was by far and away the most difficult one at the time. I'm lucky I even got my Solo Flawless, I think.
As far as loadouts go? I ran Legend of Acruis for Ecthar since Well was still strong at survival at the time, and I did a Loadout Swap between Arbalest and Leviathan's Breath with The Stag on for Simmumah. Due to the Unstoppable trait on Leviathan's Breath, every shot staggers her, which stops her from teleporting at all and lets you chain headshots for free. Somehow, I one-shot Simmumah and killed her on my very first attempt making it to her solo. I immediately restarted all my runs if I died since I wanted a Solo Flawless on my first solo clear, but kept getting walled by Ecthar. All I went in with was a hastily-drawn plan and a dream...
Heavy GL is so dangerous to use in Solo Flawless Runs. For Ecthar i use Legend of Acrius and Song of Flame (really strong) and for Simmumah i use Scintillation.
Got mine done this weekend with that exact setup on getaway warlock. Song makes it so you can atleast peacefully tee off on him with acrius without having to worry then your turret buddies will Keep devour up hopefully if you do damage by the fire fountain. Still took me several attempts to get this done. There’s just so many things that can go wrong in there, 90 mins of perfection is a lot to ask 😂
Tip: If you bring that ability to fall with the warlock, use it and activate deep vision at the same time, that cancels the animation and you can activate it and keep moving.
I almost did it last year and my CLAN MATE JOINS ME and I just Alt F4 the game and went to bed early that night. My fault I didn't turn off joining hahaha
