So, why all the transmutation if you just calculate it in the end..?

at one point you had to get 5^5(3125) and then get 3100 and multiply this. why do so much work, why don't you mutiply 3125*3125 and then multiply it by 10 and divide it by 2 and then minus 9 it at last.
