The great rishi "Sree Sree Paramhansa Mahayogi Sreemat Swami Sureshwarananda Puri Guru Maharaj" established the Central Tapoban Ashram in 1965 at Devakul, Dohazari, Chandanaish, Chittagong, Bangladesh. Not spiritual-life, but he made conscious people about material-life too. He established many educational, medical & religious institution for the welfare of human, devotees & followers of Mahayogi Sureshwarananda Puri are also lucky to have their Gurumataji named "Mata Sureshwari Devi"'. She protects her follower-children from all kinds of evil deeds. Mahayogi Sureshwarananda Puri left the earth in 27 september 2002. But, his holy-soul is always with us. Now, Sree Sree Yogi Pranjhalananda Puri Maharaj, only son of Mahayogi Sureshwarananda Puri is the Principal of Central Tapoban Ashram. Central Tapoban Ashram & its co-organizations are directed by him.
