However, he began to question his faith and eventually came to know the love of Christ. Even though Christ transformed his life, it ended up costing him dearly. I was an ex muslims and now a christian. We dont joke with our new faith because, in Islam we work hard to get to heaven, praying and doing all the deeds but nothing happens. But when we come to Jesus Christ, we are filled with love, peace, joy. and the power of his Spirit. We prayed and fasted endlesly as muslims with no results. But with Jesus, we pray and get results and avail much. This shows that Jesus is alive and not dead. Praise the LORD Jesus Christ, the king of GLORY and the love of my life. Jesus Christ the messenger of GOD is a Muslim. According to the Bible John 5 30:
I can do nothing of myself: as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is right, because I seek not my own will, but the will of him who sent me.
And Jesus said, "When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who comes from the Father, he will testify of me;" (John 15 26)
So in the Quran, sura 5 verses 110:
And when Allah says: “O 'Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), remember My favor on you and on your mother when I strengthened you with the Holy Spirit. In your cradle you talked to people, just like in your middle age. I taught you the Book, the Wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel! You made clay like the shape of a bird by My permission; then you blew into it. Then by My permission, she became a bird. And you healed by My permission the born blind and the leper. And by My permission, you revived the dead. I protected you from the children of Israʾil (Israel) while you brought them the evidence. But those among them who did not believe said, “This is only obvious magic.” »

I am one with you. I too was kicked out when i choose to carry my i bible in & out to church 52 years ago. Today the one that causes me to suffer for Christ is now a strong believer together with his wife, my eldest brother & his wife. They too gave their lives to Christ and His Church at 87 & 77 years of age.

I met a wonderful Muslim man 20 years ago who started following Christianity His testimony changed my life and I’m Christian. It was so moving. His family disowned him yet he said how could I believe differently knowing the truth.

Thank you, Sean. I rarely write comments, and in fact, this is the first time I've ever discussed my Christian faith openly. However, I feel compelled to recommend Nasser al'Qahtani for your show. Also hailing from Saudi Arabia, his testimony is incredibly powerful and has led me to reconsider my beliefs. Coming from an East Asian, Confucianist, and atheistic cultural background, I've struggled to connect with the Judaic-Christian monotheistic concept of God even after I became a believer. I've often rationalized Christian testimonies as illusions, attributing them to social, psychological, or anthropological phenomena. However, Nasser al'Qahtani's testimony struck a chord with me unlike any other. Despite having no inherent reason to believe in Jesus, I found his story deeply convincing. I believe that sharing his story could greatly benefit those who, like myself, grapple with skepticism while yearning to embrace faith in Jesus!

If one reads the NT and qur-an very carefully, one can see that the qur-anic term Mus1im equates to the term 'zealot' (of the NT).
Who were these 'zealots'?
They were members of the Levite nation (a 'tribe' of the Jews) who took the vow to become Nazirites, and became super-committed to the defence of the religion etc.
Like Jesus, John the Baptist was also a Nazirite.
Jesus the Nazirite then asked his disciples to become Nazirites. A large number of Levites who later accepted Jesus as the Messiah also became part of the group led by Jesus' disciples, and hence Nazirites.
This group came to be known as the Nazarenes.
By the 5th century CE they were ruling Himyar. Sanaa was the capital of Himyar.
Naṣārā was the term mohamedans used for christians. After they conquered iraq they marked the houses of the christians with a Nūn.
@@I.Kat. Any remaining Nazarenes (Nasara) became Christians. Hence the use of the same term. This term is used in Yemeni inscriptions by people who followed the Mosaic Law (and hence Messianic Jews or Nazarene).

A few years ago, I met a Muslim woman in the parking lot trying to start her car, but the car would die as soon as she turn in her air conditioner. I knew what was wrong, so I, wearing a Fedora hat with a cross pin on it went to help her out. I instructed her about her problem, and said for her to keep her air condoning off, and keep all her windows rolled down to keep cool. When the car continued to run after my suggestions, she was so thankful that she wanted to give me some of her groceries that she just bought. I told her, I helped her because I wanted to, and didn't need any of her groceries. I had never spoken to a Muslim before, so I figured any Scripture that came to mind would be what I would say. This included the scripture, "love your enemies." When we parted ways, I prayed for her (since I wasn't sure how she would take it if a Christian prayed for her and she witnessed it). Now I think of her often, and wonder how her walk in life is going.
I really love the way Sean interviews and brings out all the different aspects of a person's journey to faith. It really helps to understand what is important when talking to people.
And Al had such a great insight into what was going on with himself and describing how God was drawing him away from Islam to Himself.

One major point that struck me is how Al Fadi was calling the Bible corrupt and the Christians wrong when he was a Muslim, without ever having read the Bible or looked into its accuracy. I feel like this is the case with many Muslims who believe what their religious leaders say about the Bible/Christianity, without ever looking into it themselves. If a Muslim is reading this, I'd urge you to read the Quran in a language that you understand and then try reading the Bible + look into its claims as well before outright rejecting it.

Such a great interview. I struggle with having mercy in my heart for Islamic people because of those that participated in terrorism. This man’s slow conversion shows the obstacles of his early indoctrination and how it prevented his understanding. So glad he is being used by our Father to reach so many like himself.

Sean, you should have Jay Smith as a guest. He was a guest at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills talking about historical evidence for Islam. It was powerful and changed how I thought about the history of Islam.
His evidence shows that Islam is a myth. I love Islamic art and recognize Islam helped many black Americans in the 60s but Islam is fake history.

Absolute AWESOME interview, INCREDIBLE story, shares each of our stories in struggling to seek that one & only truth, (you know its truth when you can find no contradictions) also very enlightening to gain some cultural understanding of how Americans are perceived by other nations . . . makes sense, Jewish are born into the Jewish religion, Muslims & Hindu are born into their upbringing religious background . . .
A true example to us all, to learn the lessons for allowing your light to shine in the darkness - actions do speak louder than words . . . especially when it is do easy to say the wrong words & drive away or to cause hurt.
ALSO, supports reasoning for downfall of American Christianity when we took Biblical learning, prayer & 10 Commandments out of our public schools & 3 generations of children morals are missing & increased crime rates without any knowledge in God & Jesus - at least the Muslims truly know what they believe & that what they are doing is in direct response to their beliefs.

Our son's Sunday School teacher gave him Evidence when he was sixteen (He's now fifty and I would appreciate your prayers that his faith and his dad's faith in Christ might increase.) but it didn't impact him like it impacted me. I have been drawn to the evidence from all sources ever since. May God bless you and continue using your testimony and that of the McDowells and Al Fadi for His honor and glory.
