    That’s really a good look. Gives me good ideas for my build in my TJ. I’m doing a lot of “research” because everything being shown is for JKs & JLs. Thanks for a great video and the great ideas.

    Thanks Cappy for another great inspirational video. Will have to try and keep up with a similar build. How did you anchor it to the Jeep to keep it from bouncing around?

    I’m interested in hearing your review of this after the first season using it... getting ready to build my storage unit soon and curious if there’s anything you would change if you built another one.

    Nice job Cappy. Not only looks classy but obviously practical. How did you attach the aluminium trim/moulding to the plywood. If you glued it on please let us know what glue you used. I am busy with my version of the EH and am now ready to attach the aluminium trim to the edges and doors, so would be good to know. Cheers from NZ.

    I was able to bolt down the galley by using the 2 tie down points near the rear seat. I removed them, found a couple M6 metric bolts and bolted it down.

      410 Expedition ... great job... funny was going to ask just that... do you know the weight of it? Saw it on instagram couldn't wait to see this...

    • @mdograssgrower
      @mdograssgrower 6 лет назад

      410 Expedition that looks pretty darn good. fyi. the aluminum edging is 5/8" outside dimension, 1/16" wall. only true pipe is measured by the inside dimension. even tubing is measured by the o.d. hope this helps you keep from making the dreaded exchange trip to the hardware store in the future.

    • @waywardescapes4384
      @waywardescapes4384 6 лет назад

      Just be careful with the length of the bolts. The back anchor threads are like only 1/4”-1/2” and then there’s only an inch to 1 1/2” clearance before hitting metal under the Jeep. You can damage your anchors. I did it just by testing a bolt. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Gotta repair it tonite before moving on with my build.

    Nice craftsmanship. I'd hesitate to record it as well- involving a camera almost doubles project times for me. I'm in the midsts of figuring out my Jeep storage, so thanks for the video.

    Seen a couple of your vids but this one made me SUBSCRIBE. Sweet build. I would like to remove the backseat of my 2 door JK and do the same. How is this mounted to the floor of the Jeep? Thanx! EDIT: Just seen the comment how you mounted to the Jeep.

  • @BodieWalker

    I love this build, but it looks like in another video of one of your camping expeditions that you had added a slide out for a stove under the ice box. Did you record your adding that addition on to this unit? I am going on a long road trip in less than a month and would love to duplicate this system in my 2 door JK.

    Did you Fasten it down in the back of the jeep?

  • @leafriver8130

    Very good looking build. How is your screw working? I am wondering if micro kreg jeg for 1/2 inch plywood would be better than the screw you are using. The thing I don't like is the screw that they have for micro jeg for 1/2 inc ply is that it has a fine thread. I am sure it will look good being concealed but I am not sure of the strength. Also, your drawer handle is awesome, can you share the link where u bought it?

  • @kswan23

    Maybe you answered this in the comments and I missed it, how did you secure it into the back of the JK? And is it permanently secured?
    I love my weekend adventures but my Jeep is my everyday driver, so I’d like to be able to put it in on the weekends but remove it after each trip.
    Also, I may only do a half build because some trips I do solo, I like sleeping INSIDE the Jeep on a half mattress setup.

  • @coreylynch31

    Stock sub bassically does nothing with the stock head unit anyway.
