  • Part 2 of railfanning Fullerton Friday 1/31/25. I was surprised how many freight trains I saw between 12:50 and 3pm. I knew the BNSF freights would be backed up because of the downed power lines that was on the Transcon between the port of Long Beach and Fullerton. The end of the video has a really rare H1 leader. H1 units never lead a freight train. The dispatch reassigned Amtrak 777 the San Diego to Los Angeles Santa Barbra San Luis Obisbo service to track 3 the far side and the station agent made no announcements regarding the track change. It's in the station agents job description to let people who are catching the train to know what track the train will be on. 2) She yells at everyone. I was waiting on a westbound from Chicago Willow Springs Yard with Norflok Southern unit 8012 2nd in tow. ATSF Warbonnet unit 741 3rd in tow in the front of the train and the Mid Train DPU / Distributive Power Unit 4th of 4 in tow was Norflok Southern Virginian & Western Heritage Unit 1069.
