Geez, I remember going to the mall in the 80's hen most of you were either kids or not even a thought yet. I wanted a brown nail polish, to he only place that I could find some was at a high end stores beauty dept. It was between 10 and 15 dollars! Not quite 2 hours of my pay back then! I was making good money back then but when I got out side I screamed because the price was outrageous! The real kicker was it was the lousiest polish even to this day that I have ever bought! I had to think long and hard even about trying any of the Taco Holo! Not all polish works the same for everyone due to our chemical make up in our systems! I was just sick too but spit happens! So I have to find alternatives and that's okay!

I've seen these reviewed elsewhere and wasn't that excited about them, but you have a way of making polishes sooooo appealing that my wallet really doesn't appreciate, LOL.

None of the colors appeal to me, but seeing how smooth the formula is and how flawless your application is always makes me rethink how I feel about the polishes!

I haven't picked up summer dreaming because I wasn't super impressed with the pictures. But seeing these swatches, I'm impressed with the formula.
That's exactly how I felt with both collections haha! I'm glad I ended up trying them because they are way better than expected!

I feel like the blue and purple fit in with the other summer brands we’ve seen. But those pinks almost feel like a breath of fresh air of classicness? We’ve seen some really odd colors for spring and summer 2021.
I bought the Cosmic Pop Trio and LOOOOOOOVE them!!!!!! They. Are. GORGEOUS! Definitely worth picking up!
Their horrible neon collection turned me off to Zoya a bit. I've been getting a lot of KB Shimmer, ILNP, and Cirque.

I was super worried that because the Cosmic Pop Trio is limited edition it was only going to be available in the US- it is not currently available in the UK and there's been no info or announcement at all. After repeatedly bugging their UK Instagram staff and them politely asking for my patience- I got confirmation that it will be available on the UK webshop eventually!!!! (They are seriously so nice!) I'm so freaking relieved! I need this trio bad. I'm trying to muster up a bit more patience and this review did not help that!

Beautiful creme colors, but I don't feel like any of them will look good on my skin tone. I especially love the sky blue, but I hate sky blue nail polish on me!
I snagged the cosmos trio when they had the bundle sale. I really like the shades and was a steal when it came to price. 10/10 would recommend

I’m not a huge summer collection fan so Dreamin’ wasn’t anything I was in love with (Skipper probably my favorite) but oh my gosh the Cosmic Trio. Glad they dropped the price on those.

I wonder if you ever think about doing swatches where you compare polishes to ones that looks very similar?! :) remember when nail bloggers did that all the time 🤣 I wonder if there is a dupe for that “Summer” color SO gorgeous! Zoya’s really ripping us off with that stupid wide brush. Almost every other polish manufacturer defaults to the wide brush, so why are they charging extra for it? They’re wasting money by putting a normal brush in the bottle that we’re just gonna throw away and replace, and they’re transferring that price onto us. I get that some people prefer the regular brush, but if that was the case and they just wanted to cater to everyone, they should let you pick which brush you want when you buy it.

Preach!! 🙌 I refuse to buy them now. If it was more reasonable I could understand, but there's no way that a single brush is even close to $2 each. Sometimes Zoya will provide them with entire collections, so I just pop them in and out whenever I finish a bottle and need it for another one.
Except if youve seen how polish is made and poured into the bottles youd know it just isnt possible to pick the brush :( , theyre doing the best they can, they did a survey and it was basically 50/50 for the wide and the skinny brush, most nail salon techs prefer skinny brushes as its easier to control and do a quicker job than with a wider brush they have to be more careful with. The other thing to remember is Zoya isnt like OPI or China Glaze, its a brand that was started for use in nail salons, its not a mainstream brand, also usually when they launch a new collection they do a really good deal box where you usually get the zwide brush, they also usually do good sales around black Friday and earth day. I really wish people would understand that Zoya are trying to cater to everyone both the general public and their nail salon techs, please at least give them credit for trying, I kinda wish theyd never introduced the brush they get more hate for not totally switching it out to the zwide than ever :(
@@SH-wk6po but how do you know it doesnt cost them 2 bucks to make it? the brushes are made in Spain, so youve got manufacturing costs and shipping and import duties to pay? their bottles are made in Italy? again manufacturing and shipping and import duties.

Those 3 bottom shades from dreamin, wow! Must have! I was not super interested in the glitters until you described the awesomeness that cannot be captured lol! I think the purple would actually complement my skin tone and I'd pronounce it EreDAHni... but who knows😂 thanks for this video, I agree that the summer collection was lost after the spring and neon collections
Oooh 'Skipper' looks like a lighter version of Orly 'Synthetic Symphony' - I absolutely love that type of Purple!
(well.. I love ALL the types of Purple but this one is especially cute!)
I'm hugely intrigued by Zoya's newest product - it's a kit with an LED lamp called 'Mani-More days' (yes I keep reading it as 'Mandy Moore days' in my head 🤣🤣🤣)

Celestia looks almost identical to their Nala polish without the larger glitters in it. Would you be able to compare them?
I have both. Celestia is more of a white gold. Actually Polaris looks more like Nahla, if you added pink holo shimmer to it to make it a rosier gold.
I'm thrilled that HBBeautyBar is now offering the Z-Wide brushes! I don't *think* the site used to sell them, so this makes it much more convenient to switch them out when purchasing from the website. They are listed as being $2.00 each, the same price as on the Zoya site. I know Zoya just raised their prices on polish, completely understandable because of the pandemic and its ongoing bad effects on seemingly everything. But who doesn't like to save a couple of dollars here and there? Thanks for your swatches and the discount codes, Kelli!!
It's funny you say that because I didn't realize until this review that they were on HB either haha! But I'm glad to see them there too - it's awesome when Zoya does discounts when you purchase their collections, but if you need one here or there, now they're cheaper on HB haha!

When Zoya first released the Dreamin’ collection, they said that Skipper was made with the easy neon formula! But I definitely think that would have been a better purple for the neon collection than what they chose.

Lmbo your mom reminds me of my mom she's always trying to get me to start an instagram page or something. I don't collect as much but she just always says to start one for makeup even though I do basic looks. Two nice collections and I especially like the space one but "summer" is pretty too

Love both collections. I wasn’t originally into Summer Dreamin’, but I needed some of the staples. Great quality. I ordered Cosmic Pop right away. I didn’t think I’d like Celestia originally, but it ended up beating out Polaris.

I wish I had the guts to do my nails on you tube. I do my nails every other day just cause I enjoy it so much and I'm obsessed with polygel. I did a lot of freehand nail art and had posted some of it on Instagram years ago then I just stopped. I do take pics tho every time I do them. I'm just too wimpy to do it! But I love watching it so thanks!
You can always start slow - like by posting the final photos on Instagram or Facebook! That's really how I got started (but with the blog haha! Pre Instagram days!)
How do the Zoya side brushes work? Do you swap it with the thin brush and snap it into the cap?

Wide brushes.... Wide! Not side. Lol
It comes with a complete separate cap. Remove the stock brush and cap, trash it, and just screw on the wide brush/cap then push down.

Other nail enthusiasts and unsuspecting nail techs too. I usually get someone out of the aforementioned careers or innocent bystander noticing my nails. I say innocent because (most times often than not, my nails are looking a hot mess and I know this but I still get compliments) I sometimes go on a slight tangent of how crappy they look and they look at me like I'm crazy. 😅
@@aftonthompson1968 I had that experience today at the doctors office I had quickly slapped on polish before leaving the house and it looked really patchy and she just loved them
@@cherrybomb1386 isn't funny when we do something to ourselves such as slapping patchy polish on knowing it looks like garbage but someone can comment how they think they look good? I guess it's really true when it's said beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
So, "Eradani" is actually a misspelling (I don't know if they did that on purpose) of Eridani, a name taken from the Latin noun Eridanus, which is a long, twisting constellation in the S hemisphere that goes from Orion to Hydrus. It's pronounced "Eh-rihdeh-nai". So, long "i" at the end. I'm assuming this is the form they wanted, considering that the way its spelled would make it correlate with a company that deals in IT and that doesn't make sense with the theme. . . . =)

Celestia looks like it would be nice for New Year’s Eve to me and then Polaris would be nice for fall and Thanksgiving, I don’t see summer in those two shades at all. And the first set that you showed I know you definitely showed that a couple months ago because I bought them from your recommendations. I know I definitely got polly.

The Summer polish and Mateo would be so good to make like wave nail art! I've seen it as a trend with other nail artists in Korea right now. If you use the sand like polishes from Dimension Nails and use those colors with a white polish would be so cute! If you or anyone else in the comment does that design I said, do it!
