Exactly! My childhood friend’s husband, a magistrate, was shot and killed by an armed robber over whose case he was presiding. His hands were tied and he was forced to grant this guy bail on the Friday. On Monday, her husband was shot and killed by this guy 😡

We need a bail reform in South Africa.
We are busy with it. It is always contentious and is based off a genuine lack of space for awaitng trial prisoners.
We need more prisons. What we actually really need is less criminals.

Same here. Love the country, but the violence aspect attached to even petty crimes is ridiculous. God bless South Africa and all of her daughters and sons❤
We South Africans are so desensitised to this stuff. When I started school here in Australia my fellow peers were totally shocked and dumb struck to hear about crimes which are reported regularly in S.A.
Very sad and I wish our country could change for the better.

Please do a follow up video following what happened today. You know how to put it into a nutshell so don't rush and take your time to get the details together as I believe Jeremy Sias got away with murder. To me the police stuffed it up. It's quite heartbreaking because if they DID get it wrong someone else might pay the price with their own life as he'll most likely do it again. 🙏🇿🇦
