Thanks! No, it just vacuums them up into the hopper area behind the actual vacuum, where they are packed into the body then dumped out later. The actual shredding/processing takes place at the disposal site.

Just now watching this, kept getting recommended since the views are growing exponentially haha. Sweet video! Guy with the rake looks like he loves his job, the two work well together. Didn't know Labrie made these leaf vacs - interesting to spot that. Seems like a new-ish truck... do you know when Arlington got these? I'm used to these CCC cabs being on much older bodies but everything looks so shiny. I'd be curious to know. Happy New Year!

These new (2017 and after) vacuums with the DEF system on the vacuum motor just don't sound as cool as the older units. The old tan manual trucks used to really roar...
