6:20 speaking of, I learned from some random other comment section recently that, as miner, if you use backblast in the air and immediately start holding m1 and jump (with auto jump on ofc) you can move much faster than you would normally be able to. You can basically just tape down m1 at that point for basically anything that isn't providence.

If you're looking for some unique challenges, I made a loadout randomizer that can create some pretty fun builds and artifacts to use. I don't know, I think it's pretty balanced as-is because not only can things get quite chaotic (hard to parry an attack you can't really see) but if you do take that hit it's quite devastating. I think the real solution is buff whirlwind.
I feel like creating a skill check is not the same thing as balance, since a player with good timing will get free wins every time, meaning the move is still overpowered. I think the devs nade the right call from an accessibility standpoint to make it have a super lenient timing window, but it should deal less damage.
Bro it’s funny cause Sekiro have one of the most generous parry frame in all parry mechanics. The parry frame last 30 frames which is half a second A lot of other parry don’t even make it above 15

yeah but activate tp immediately then run around looting while its active, its not a super hard rule though, dont take 5 extra minutes for 1 item or anything
I think the reason that looping feels better in ror 1/returns is because sure, the first loop can be minutely easier. But i can not stress the “can” and “minutely” enough. Can, because that’s dependent on if you get good loot. If you get mediocre or bad loot, congratulations! You now do no damage to REGULAR enemies, let alone bosses or, god have mercy, providence. And if you do get good loot, congratulations! You are now a glass cannon if you have cape, and complete screwed if you don’t! And if you go beyond that, let’s first assume that you got good loot from stage 1-5 and your loop. You now deal significantly less damage than you did in either of them, and there’s so many enemies that you either have to instant kill them or get good at dodging, because cape won’t save you anymore. And if you got mediocre/bad loot or good loot but no cape on either stage 1-5 or your loop? God speed, because you won’t last long. Anyway, this has been my rant about another thing i love about RoRR.
@@denbond8664 to a degree, yes. Though that degree is balanced by the odds of both appearing on the same stage and the printer being a good one in the first place.
I find providence soooo much easier than mithrix. I managed to beat providence the first time i got to him and i have only failed once since. He just doesn't have any one shot hard to dodge moves like mithrix. You always have to be on your guard against mithrix since there is alwaya a possibility he can fuck you up out of nowhere

There's a mod that adds parrying to Mercenary. Been playing with it and it's pretty fun once you get the hang of it.
I think its be cool to see a video of a prestige run. I tried one the other day and they are brutally difficult, but really fun.

sadly agree, though i expected him to be as easy as he was in the first game, so at least we got the new phase 4
There is an exploit you can do in the mythrix fight that makes him both unable to reach you and make him fall though the floor killing himself
