Close minded people already hating on this song tho and yes, they have mentioned aespa. I dont think it is messy. The switch up is seamless.

What’s funny to me is that people are probably going to hate the beat change in DICE even though Jinni says “NMIXX change up.” I personally thought the beat change was smooth and I liked it a lot. It’s getting kind of annoying though hearing the haters say “they’re coping AESPA.” Like, I love AESPA too, but there not the only group that can do beat changes in there songs.

The switch ups really were so smooth. What I really liked was the switch from the rap break back to the “base” song. If you listen closely there’s a sound effect there, like they’re taking you back to “NMixxtopia”. Very nice touch.
Transitions were def better this time around. They definitely took some notes (from next level) with the 4 beat tap to bring us back to the main part/melody of the song. Not saying they copied it per say, but they figured out what they did in O.O was too jarring for most listeners, so they tried something else. The switch up part, beat wise, was the best part of the song for me. Side note: lily’s vocals are actually so amazing, that every time I hear her sing I’m like, wow. Her voice is so powerful and distinguished, she stands out so much vocally in nmixx. She really could be a soloist with the way that she sings my goodness, it’s gorgeous!
I have to say, this is the first time hearing them. I personally love it. I will definitely be listening to their songs in future.
Dude maybe Nmixx won’t be that popular for a year or two but there will be a point where people will get used to different sounds…and then everyone around the world is going to start losing their sh*t over them 😄 Mark my words.
I think the song dice represents them and their concept. Dice are unpredictable, you play the game without knowing what's to come. Just like the lyrics NMIXX are unpredictable but they're assuring us not to worry and just come on board.

"Big wave big wave, don't run away" usually when people see big wave they try to run away but NMIXX is saying that we shouldn't run and face it. Use the waves and ride it, just like what they did on O.O. It received a lot of backlash and negative comments but instead of running away from it, they ride it and used it to come back stronger.

Ngl, first listen I liked this less than O.O but literally I listened to it again and I kind of love it? Like you said, their take on switch ups is so interesting to me. Red hair is Kyujin btw. Her, Lily, and Haewon (9:03) have been tied as my bias since they debuted and I still can't choose 😭❤
Their called nmixx cos their mix pop, guys keep that in mind for future comebacks 😅

I love both songs very much and DICE is fun. And while I love O.O with all my heart I think the beat change in DICE was way smoother than in O.O. I kind of wish that COOL (your rainbow) was the title track because it’s such a beautiful song. I love the vocals and the instrumental. But I like DICE too. I like the beat change and the vocals were also good. I think DICE was really cool though. It gave me like a Halloween circus vibe which I thought was very interesting. And like I said already COOL (your rainbow) was just really beautiful.

I liked o.o on the second listen and loved the vocals. tank is cool don't listen to it much tho? but I like lilys vocals on dice just felt like it needed more of a vocal focused chorus which would've made me love it even more but I like it still! really fun and different

a 22 years old Iranian girl, named Mahsa Amini was beaten to death after being arrested by ‘hijab police’ in Iran, and she died last night. also, a 16 years old boy named Amirhossein Khademi was raped by 2 of his colleagues and his boss. threatened with the videos taken of him to silent him. his body was found in a desert after he reported to police. his mother has cancer and he was trying to earn money for his mother’s treatment. after this, some people gathered and protested the recent events. the police shot them and killed them.
this is just one day of living in this country. these are a few out of 100000 horrific situations we face on a daily basis in iran and yet no one listens and no one cares.

For me, the comeback is the opposite of their debut. I liked O.O. but didn't like Tank and I like Color but don't like Dice.
