Giving needles to homeless people has a downside of more people get addicted to drugs. Giving food to beggars near the worship place has a downside of creating more lazy & dumb people. So, Mohnish you are smart not to choose charity of this kind and rather establishing Dhaksana, as Charlie Munger once said: “protecting the downside and the upside will take care of itself! “ 👍🏻

Actually, giving the same subsidy to a student from a poor family and to a student from an affluent family is quite genius because neither family is punished and both families are helped by being able to maintain their current standards of living without having to go backwards economically just to pay for education.
