Oh how we the Body of Christ need to hear more of these messages to understand our Christian walk. Messages so rare in our day! I believe many Christians are so confused about just what it means to be saved. We are ignorant of His Word. A clear understanding of the Amazing Grace of God and His mercy will give the desire to please Him more and more. He has done it all for me. The more I yield, the more clearer understanding of what it all means to be “saved by Grace”.

    Pastors notes
    1. The Truth of Justification. Acts 13:38-39; Romans 3:28; Romans 5:1.
    2. The Truth of Sanctification.
    A. Positional Sanctification is what takes place the moment a person trusts Christ as their Savior. 1 Corinthians 1:1-2.
    B. Progressive Sanctification is what we experience as Christians as we walk by faith, surrendered to the Lord and obedient to His Word. 1 Peter 2:2; 1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-3, 7.
    C. Ultimate Sanctification is when we will be completely set apart from the world to Christ when Jesus comes back to take us home to Heaven. 1 John 3:2-3.
    3. The Truth of Glorification is the future tense of salvation. Titus 2:11-14; Ephesians 2:8-9; Philippians 3:20-21.

1 Thessalonians 4:7 - 'For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.' Is this the origin of that man made saying cleanliness is next to holiness? What a perversion of the context.

BlueSky . I interpret the cleanliness as the condition of the heart; not the outward “cleanliness”. God looks on the heart. A heart for God leads to “clean” behavior or “holiness”. Just my thoughts!

I am NOT "being saved". I am SAVED. A new born has a BIRTHday. Then comes the growing up years. Sanctification is our growing "in" Christ after we are BORN AGAIN. John 3:3, 2nd Corinthians 5:17 (AV1611KJB).
