I would like to see a tandem walking wheels and either higher sides or someway of adding height to the top. Also would like to see a way of instead of electric hydraulics, one could use it for tractors with its hydraulics. Another option would be to use multiple trailering(2", clevis, pintle) hookups.
Realistically it's too short for a tandem. We offer other bigger units with taller sides, not what this one is designed for. Pretty much everything runs electric/hydraulic, but you can plumb it for hydraulic/hydraulic. All o those ideas are great, but not what the bulk of folks are looking for.
If I'm being hoesnt rural king has a trailer like that made for tractors only and it's about 4,000. This little trailer is pretty well designed for what it is.
How high up is the trailer floor? ramps very steep?
The floor is 24" on the dump, and has 4.5' ramps. For comparison's sake, an average utility trailer has about a 19" deck height and a 4' gate. It's a marginally steeper angle than a utility trailer, but not by much. They use high capacity 10" tires for both flotation, and a lowered deck height so it's not excessively tippy, given the narrowness of the trailer.
How to get one in Toronto Canada
will it dump a load of wood?
It will dump anything you put into it
10 ft and it could have doubled as snowmobile hauler
True!
Can you access the battery with the body down
Not really. You can get your hand in the compartment, but ideally you'd want to have the bed up. That said, in recent years one feature add is a remote fob box outside the body of the trailer so you really don't need to access the box for most things.
@@BestChoiceTrailers I bought this model off of you about 3 months ago and this question has been in the back of my head, if the battery goes dead in the down position....Then what?....It's gonna happen someday....
@@ZomBRaider While not likely or ideal, hypothetically you'd hook your battery charger to the terminals right inside the driver's side opening under the trailer, about 3-4" high OR you could mount ring terminals with a quick disconnect you simply pull out and plug in OR If you really wanted, you could also leave it up in the air just a hair when parked so water runs out and to have more access. Leaving it up just a bit shouldn't expose the cylinder to the elements.
@@BestChoiceTrailers Thanks for the reply....So far it's been a great trailer....I've hauled dirt, gravel, 3 point hitch attachments and a ton of wood pellets at a time....My only gripe so far is the ramps need to lock in place...I had 1 bounce completely out and Thank God no one was behind me...The ramp itself only got a few scratches but I need to secure those somehow, I don't trust them down the interstate....Otherwise it's been a real work horse....If fact I'm using it tomorrow to haul many loads of fill dirt....As you said, it certainly is no toy....Glad I got it.....
@@ZomBRaider easy to slide your hand between frame and bottom of bed and connect a charger clamps or battery jumper cables.
