I love this breed because it is so very close to having a miniature poodle! Both breeds are exceptionally intelligent, and they also look a bit the same! But I do know that the dog has been used to hunt truffles in Italy! Beautiful to say the least!
they are the sweetest things ever. mine is 1.5 years old and I am getting a new pup in 2 weeks. they need lots of exercise....and mental games. they don't shed but the trade off is they need to be groomed every 6 weeks or so. a groomer who is familiar to the breed may be difficult to find.

I got a Lagotto last year in December, i am absolutely loving him he his such a nice dog and great companion. His name is Robin.
I love my parents new Lagotto. Such a wonderfull dog, Big heart - loves to talk and shows emotions , such a sweetheart!

Yes, they are very pleasing! 😍 And need a lot of tasks, that's true! Do you have truffles? For that they are also particularly suitable...
I would love to have a little one to do therapy work with and to be a companion. Hopefully, in 2021.
