I rarely get sentimental about music but this song really brings back a lot of good memories and fun times with friends and playing KH's. Sometimes I wish I could go back and do it all over again. Not to change it but just to experience it again.
When ever I reflect on my life, and all seems bad, I put on this track, and instantly; It fills me with hope, happiness. It shows me that not all is bad. For me, that is the purpose of music
The nostalgia is strong with this one. Love how EvenS' modern approach amplifies that feeling. Only flaw is the title of the song, it should be renamed: 'Yoko Shimomura - Dearly Beloved (EvenS Remix)'. And don't forget: A far off memory is like a scattered dream, and dreams never die.

Yes, I totally agree with you in this point! Video Games are Art just like music and painting or something else. Also, a nostalgic emotion or memory is like one of the most powerfull feelings, I'd say. And in my opinion it matters much, also because you maybe found new friends because of it. You shared those memories and you can tell your kids about it just like with any other thing that happened in your life.
What makes you think video games can't convey emotions? Just like a movie or a song can touch a persons heart; a video game is a form of art like any other. It brings a nostalgic feeling to the people who have played the game in the past and that alone is powerful in itself.

I for one was extremely attached to this game, and I have no idea why save for the soundtrack. In my humble opinion, the soundtrack makes the game playable. Gives any given situation feeling and emotion. Such as what you're feeling now..

Very true! Weird as it may seem to some, you can definitely attach memories and feelings of emotions from these memories of playing games to specific tunes or genres of music. Just like music often tells you a story, so can games tell you a story in a more interactive kind of way...
