The Queen Silvia is daughter of a brazilian mother. She just borned in Germany. Since she was 3 years old they moved to Brazil. Silvia mother is brazilian portuguese immigrant. Like everybody else in Brazil. Brazil have the Second largest German population outside Germany (more tha 18 million descendants); The Queen Silvia was raised in Brazil. She speaks a fluent portuguese and in the Swedish Castle she use to cook brazilian tipical food like feijoada, vatapa, ...Do you like or not. Thanks.
Victoria's wedding seemed nearly identical yesterday...the tiara and veil, the carriage, the boat ride...interesting how tradition is carried over from one generation to the next

Queen Silvia was an elegant, beautiful bride. I wish King Carl still looked after her and offered his hand/arm to her present day as a courtly gentleman should do. He now walks ahead of her and appears to pay little attention to her. And he’s had multiple affairs outside of his marriage to this lovely woman who continues to hold her head up with immense poise and dignity.
She looked beautiful, radiant, and exquisite-and she still looks fantastic today! They really seem to have had a true love match that has lasted the test of time.
Oh, i know about regal looking gowns, jordimia. Monique Llhuilier comes from my country. I regularly see her Mom and relatives exquisitely and elegantly dressed be they in casual wear or formal. When i said "For me, her wedding gown was not ugly", I'm just stating my own personal opinion. You think it's ugly, I don't. Simple. "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", I believe this. I can appreciate simple lines in clothes.. as well as those elaborately, fully beaded or sequined designed gowns.
Well its a difficult question. We call every1 swedish in sweden, its just how you say it. In my eyes every1 is swedish who lives here but if they are originally from another country, they are swedish, but not originally from sweden. I got one foreign parent and one swedish. I consider myself swedish and im born in sweden. But id just like to point out that the swedish royalities are originally a bunch of foreigners.
nothing else should be req, but thats kinda my point with my first post. Thats they are originally not 100% from sweden and therefore not ´´swedish´´as alot of swedish racist would say.
