Hey S3 Fam!! We're obviously not growing fast enough, and we'd love your feedback on our videos. If anyone has constructive feedback on what you'd like included, removed or incorporated in our future videos, the good and the bad, we're all ears please let us know! Thanks :)
You do it perfectly. The camera quality, the editing, your feedback on the food, everything is perfect, just patience i guess, you will get there👍 frantzen is my second best restaurant restaurant just overshadowed by an inch by facil in Berlin. I beg you you have to try that.
I think you are doing great. Review channels aren't that easy to get viewers as its a very limited community that likes these types of videos or this dining in general. I just think it will take time. But you're doing great! And this might be a bit biased since I do live in nyc and work in Al Coro. But I would stick more to nyc a lot. I feel that is actually the fine dining mecca of the world. And more people have heard of those restaurants through the New York Times. Then again, this place does look amazing!
ya, shocked it's not a bigger channel. Might sound like a cop-out but it's probably related to the algorithm because the videos are undeniably great. hard to find any criticisms.
Would love if you can elaborate more details on wine pairings and the wines in general, and make that a more integral part of the experience. For example, was the pairing the restaurant provided good? Did you like the wine? If it was a more esoteric varietal, perhaps what similar wine could you compare it to. Also, if you are able to, perhaps incorporating a breakdown of price of the meal would be helpful and lend a practical element to the channel. Another point is, I think a lot of people enjoy watching shots of people eating the food live and getting immediate facial expression reactions, etc. Perhaps it's a little cringey to do so, but if done in a genuine way, could lend to the entertainment aspect. Finally, if it's not too much work, I know many people enjoy watching videos with captions (not auto generated ones since they can be incorrect), especially since sometimes people working at the restaurant might talk to quickly or be covered by background noise or music in the restaurant. Great work overall though!
Omg you guys are so fancy 😂❤ I’m so glad I found your channel!! I love food and travel channels, I get a look into different worlds that I myself won’t ever really have the chance of experiencing (in this lifetime ofc 😉), so videos like these are so wonderful to me. Thank you for sharing your journeys with us!! 😊🫶🏼🫶🏼🌈
Wow, just came across this channel whilst killing time at the airport omw back home to canada from france. Probably my favorite michelin experience this time around was at Le Art at chateau de la gaude in Aix en Provence. This channel is fantastic, love your videography and commentating. Basically watched every video haha. Started in my michelin dining experience last year, this channel gives me some great ideas as to where i should travel to next!
We just looked into Le Art, honestly that wasn't on our radar and it looks incredible! Thanks for the kind words, glad we were able to entertain while you were at the airport. We've only recently started our Michelin journey too, so lots of amazing places to try. If you have any other noteworthy spots to share, let us know!
Thanks for a great video that captures a lot of the feeling at this restaurang. I am glad to see that you were served the onion, licorice and almond soup. I am also glad to see your reaction. This dish is truly a bomb, its a complete surprise and perhaps the best dish i have ever tasted. Congrats to you.
I really love your videos! Im a chef myself (pastry) and I follow you to get inspiration by your travels as well as the feedback you have for others! Also you are so stylish!!
Hi found you channel very spontaneously by only typing stockholm since I’m moving there in late august this year:) I really love gourmet content so I will definetly subscribe!
Stockholm truly is one of the most cosmopolitan/global/international cities on Earth. While such adjectives are easily worn out, the City floating on water casually handles the complexity of bringing all of the world together, honoring the vision of Alfred Nobel consisting in the idea Mankind one day will find a way to bring out the best in us.
Another fantastic video you two! I was especially excited about this one since I’m born and raised in Stockholm. One minor feedback, again, is that the music- especially during the first 2 minutes of the video was quite distracting and loudly mixed, making it difficult to focus on what you were saying. I look forward to your next video- Thank you and keep healthy ♥
Oh wow, that's awesome! A great place to grow up, we're already planning our next trip to explore more of Stockholm. Thanks again for the feedback, we do appreciate it. I've noted your last comment and tried to lower to music but I'll be more mindful to take it down an even further notch next time! Thanks again :)
Great quality, but I want to know more about the restaurant, the details about the dishes, the drinks, the people who serve you, the interior etc. Great visuals, I'd like more commentary tho.
Of course, we totally get that! Unfortunately, there's only so much we can add to the video, otherwise we could never stop talking and the movies would never end! Others have also expressed interested in knowing more about the those details, as well, so we've recently built a website with more in depth perspective/reviews on exactly those topics :) For the hardcore foodies haha. If you're curious, we cover more on www.S3Lifestyle.com! Thanks for your feedback, appreciate it!
I have only recently discovered your channel and I am going through many of the videos, I only have one thing to say. You have among the best combination of video/audio/photography around the "foodie" channels, let us enjoy it more. This video should have been at least 20% longer, you must have a lot of unused shots, edit the videos in a way that we have more time to enjoy the photography and the details that you are capturing instead of having me (and many others I guess) keep pausing to enjoy the close ups ;) Keep up the great work
Thanks for your feedback, it's great insight and we appreciate it! We've heard a few times now that the videos need to be a bit longer, we hear you and we'll totally start slowing down the shots :) All the best, and thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
Thank you for listening ;) If you ever come to the Lake Maggiore area in Italy it would be a pleasure to have you try our restaurant Villa Pizzini on mount Mottarone (with no cameras though, it was not the aim of the invite!) @@S3Lifestyle
From a chef perspective these ideas are very good. I also follow exec chef and he constantly posts nice stuff! :) by the looking at food in Ikoyi i think Jeremy got something from there! :)
Yeah some really creative stuff going on in kitchens, it impresses us every time how creative you guys are! We love what the team is up to at Ikoyi, too! Where do you cook?
I look at this and think more chic than anything ....Dad in the 80's found himself overworked And weekends would hunt and fish Even told me he fell asleep in a row boat with a 7lb trout on the line waking him up (That tired) He would smoke his fish And moose/deer And offer some to local friends Soon after And many people would ask to buy the meat and fish And tell him he should cook for a living ...He quit his job 3 months later And ran a kitchen called "The shack" As it was a small place in the middle of no where He really kicked up his game by offering true Canadian rustic foods Smoked moose with a blueberry gravy (Peppery sweet with a shot of horse radish) Sweet potato and potato mix And fried onion And a forest salad He tripled his farming the following year ...Meaning most everything he had on the menu was hunting gathered or grown And butchered Even ran a local trade deal with hunters and farmers which kept the cost really low Paid for the house/car And other property doing what he loved But was told he could no longer sell moose meat on the menu And needed a license etc etc still ran a service for locals And Gave away prepared foods for local elderly Non -/ Natives And frozen more for them ....Some of the best foods in the world dont make in on michelin
I just imagine that I'm at a 3 star restaurant...only to have two people with cameras seated next to me & talking to a camera all night long. Personally that would pretty much destroy my whole experience. Restaurants should have a one-night open house for 'influencerrs' so to not bother others on a good night out ps and i have to say that you come across very calm / well behaved / knowledgeable / I like the content 🙂
Hey there! We totally understand your perspective and honestly we are very mindful about this too, because we never want to ruin anyone's experience. We always work with the restaurant, to have them sit us strategically and we're always super friendly to those around us. Thankfully, so far we have only received very friendly reception from diners next to us. Our filming takes only a few minutes, and we're enjoying dinner like everyone else, cameras put away. But at the same time, we love beautifully capturing and sharing all the amazing hard work these talented chefs are creating! It's our way of spreading the love, and getting other foodies even more excited about visiting these restaurants, too :) Thanks for your kind comments :) And we agree on your 'one-night' open house idea, that would make things much simpler!
Great video but I think the audio quality is a bad subpar, maybe something to think about! It's a bit hard to hear the conversations. Subtitles might solve it..
Hi, noted! We've added subtitles to our video after this, because some people asked for it as well! It's hard to get perfect audio in a real-time loud environment like these, but we'll add subtitles to all our future videos. Thanks for the feedback!
For us, and for others we've spoken too... we'd all say it was definitely worth it! Such a crazy experience, amazing and complex food, and all around worth every moment :)
Oh totally, we definitely would love to share that ambiance, but unfortunately to respect the guest's experiences around us, we try to film parts of the restaurant when it's empty and wouldn't want to interrupt other guests by trying to film the real-time ambiance.
Any restaurant who dares to offer me Rooibos is an instant zero points. I appreciate the creativity that went into all of this, but there is just no flavor remotely as revolting as Rooibos.
So, with the wine pairing what are we talking about 7000Sk per person! Very pricey even for a 3☆☆☆! Yes, some very interesting dishes but not unlike other 3☆☆☆ establishments in the 350-450€ range!
The sound quality - particularly the speech is not clear and is pushed into the background by the background music. Terrible sound quality. Great visuals though.
Yeah, this one was tricky! It's so hard to capture clear audio real-time in such noisy environments, especially when the kitchen is so close and we're all side by side with other guests. We took into account the music being too loud, and are mindful to adjust the volume moving forward and keeping it much quieter. If you have any suggestions on how to make our audio more clear in situations like these, please let us know, we'd love to solve this issue too! (we are mic'ed up, too)
Fine dining is to pay 5 to 10 times the cost for more cutlery and a waiter/waitress standing by watching you struggling with your dishes. But why is it called "FINE dining"? Because the waiter/waitress would always ask: "is everything alright, Sir/Ma'am?" and you would always answer: "Yes, everything is FINE." instead of: "No, I am F...CKED"
