Just received this beautiful new book by Emelie Lidehäll Öberg - Fairy Tales & Folklore. The publishers are Better Day Books and they have reprinted majority of her previous book (Sagor Och Sagner) with some new illustrations.
Thank you to @ColourwithClaire for making the petition and initiating the whole process for this book to become available to us again.

The first 10 images are the new ones. Sadly Santa was removed from the book to make way for the new ones, but Emelie has stated that she will make Santa a freebie as people were disappointed that it didn’t make this print. I always enjoy your flip throughs and chatter about the images. Looking forward to seeing which one you decide on first. I have received my book as well and keep flipping through to work out which one to colour first, trying to also finish a double page spread before I start something new ❤

It’s a lovely book, mine arrived yesterday. I’m lucky I also have the original book so now I have 2!!! I think it’s the first ten pages that are new. Chatty flip throughs are the best.

What do I think about this book - It has everything you can ask for, and I really like the potrait illustrations in this book compared to the other book she has. But, I am rather a fan of nordic, wildlife, and ethereal illustrations.
It's nice to see your comments and things I didn't see in the book. Plus, you always do incredible colors. Can't wait to see your sealife, winter scenes, polar bears, and other colored pages in this book.

I think it was Claire who compared the old and the new book, and she said that Santa page is the only old page that isn't in the new book, so that's bad luck for you, Shelly. But if it becomes a freebie, you can colour it as many times as you want 😅 My book should arrive next Wednesday, fingers crossed. Enjoy your colouring ❤

When I first heard this book was going to be published again I was super excited and I was going to order it right away and get the free postcard, but then my excitement wore off and I never went back to order it. But now that I'm seeing it I know that this is definitely a must-have book for me! I love the page with the cute lemon houses, it's one of my favorites! Thank you so much for sharing this! Your video has helped me to make a final decision on this book and I will order it Friday! Also, I love the chatty flip through videos because I love hearing your thoughts and seeing what your favorite pages are! It's funny because I'll be thinking something and you'll say it! I think you and I are a lot alike with the pages that we're drawn to!

I didn’t use to love the style (I had fairytales and gave it away a couple of years ago because I didn’t know what to do with it!).
Guess who bought both this book and fairytales about a month ago??? Me, yes. Guess I do like it now! Can’t wait to get started on it!

Such a wonderful book and review. In the image at minute 17:00 you referred to the animal as a reindeer but it’s a moose. The kind of shaggy fur under the chin and antler shape is distinctive. We have them here in Canada, they are even on our coins! Just in case you decide to color the page and look up a reference 😊

I just ordered "Fairytales" it will arrive soon. This one is on my list so it may be in my cart next. I am not sure about the trolls either they don't beckon to me, same here regarding fur. These pages will be fun coloring with mixed media.
