Makes me want to buy two, put them on a flat skiff / part of my eurorack, spread them to the corners, and patch something so I can fly through sounds. Or something
I like the way he still has the courtesy, and/or feels the need, to introduce himself, - even though eveyone knows who he is, or at least should.. so now my doepfer system can look like a dalek,.. cool, it's already as tall as a dalek...
Wonder if the self centering can be turned off. I have WiiChuck controller and removed the spring from the Wiimote. Would be great if it could be on/off without taking the unit apart.
Most of the joysticks like this that return to center can be modified by removing the spring. Knowing Doepfer there might even be notes on how to modify its return to center behavior in the manual.
Having used joysticks a lot in the past, I am almost sure that pressing that button, rotating the head and moving the joystick will be quite unergonomic. The handle is too short. Joystick buttons are meant to be operated with thumbs.

Baseck just stealing the shot back there haha. Let him give a demo of what this can do!
would be great to have an option to have it stay in place, similar to the prophet VS joystick.
yea thought the button on the top was a lock initially
hey @baseck is in the house 3:10
I was a damn good street fighter player back in the arcade, guess what I can do on this one : )
shame that it doesn't stay in place and go back to center instead
Martin Rotaveria true. Could be nice to trigger a sample and hold with that little button, although now we’re needing a whole different module

Great 4 dimension solution but.. looking a bit.. awkward ;)
