    Love this design and plan to do this for my RV countertop. Would you apply UTC at this stage or would you add another layer of clear coat before the UTC. Thank you for all your lessons!

      I would add a flood coat for the added protection 😊

    Did you do a shower wall Renovation and do you have a video of it. I thought I saw a reference to it but haven’t been able to find it.

    What color combos would you recomend for a more white granite? Do you think a base of natural gray with light sprays of silver, pearl white, and bronze would work?

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  5 лет назад +2

      I think that color palate would be gorgeous!!!

    Where do you get your spray bottles?

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  5 лет назад +1

      Terry Jeffrey I’ve found that Home Depot has the best ones. The ones with the yellow top, but I’ve also gotten them from the dollar store. 🤪

    When epoxying a countertop, can one work in small section at a time to have more time to do the design? Will the dry and wet epoxy join seamlessly? Thanks.

    • @RK3Designs

      No Ann, you'll want to work the piece all at the same time. When pouring a large area, I only mix up 2 quarts at a time, then while I'm creating the finish, my helper will be mixing me up another batch. I will pour and then chop the two areas together while they are still wet.

    Instead of firing my torch into the mixing cup, I use my heat gun.

    No turquoise?? Lol. You're awesome as usual Rhonda. I've been fortunate to see her demonstrate this technique in person. Even better than on video. Rhonda is a master of faux finish techniques.

    I would love see this done on a base of natural gray with pearl white, Diamond dust, silver, and hints of oasis blue, sky blue, and tiny accents of gold and candy pink.

    Hi Rhonda, how many ounces of epoxy do you normally use per square foot for the design layer and for the final coat? Thank you.

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  5 лет назад +3

      3 oz per square ft for each coat. 😊

    It is really an amazing tutorial and look at the gorgeous result 😍 super woman👍🏼🌺 two questions please; as for a countertop
    - does is scratch?
    - does the lemon or clorox or anything affect it?
    Thank you so much, and btw I am so proud of you😇 you are a strong lady.
    Can you make a video “Do & Don’t” with epoxy countertops? This will be so important for everyone wants to make a living out of this work.

      bushbosh thank you so much for your feedback and I’m sorry I’m just seeing this! Stonecoat epoxy is extremely scratch resistant. I’ve literally installed it in over 75 homes/businesses. I also have it in my workshop and they look like the day I poured them. I clean mine with just a gentle Bleach free cleaner. I also use frequently vinegar and water mixed with a drop or two of Dawn dish soap. I’m thinking the lemon juice would be ok as well. 😊

    You keep saying that we 'can see this and that, but in fact we CANT SEE because your camera doesn't get close enough! We can't see all the things you point out!!! Bad filming compared to other videos on youtube.
