Remember, there is a difference between Mbps and MBps. Megabits (Mb) and Megabytes (MB). There are 8 bits in a byte. Internet speeds are usually measured in Megabits (Mbps). Your Internet connection speed is 200 Megabits per second, which is 25 Megabytes per second. Love your setup!! :)
yeah im old enough to remember when they changed that, internet company's used to advertise their speeds in megabytes then they switched it as broadband became normal... shame as i have a 475 mb fibre connection, if only that was megabytes.. but its still pretty good compared to my ol 28.8k modem lol

Thanks for the tour! This year, I’m planning to set up a sim rig instead of the Playseat I currently have. Stay away from Playseat, they're not very sturdy over time and constantly need retightening. I’m definitely getting back into sim racing and aiming for a more solid rig!
I think it depends on the seat you’re talking about. I had one before I got an aluminum rig, it didn’t need to retightened at all. My main issue with it was how uncomfortable it got after like an hour of racing. The cross bar that goes between your ass and legs kills! It would make my legs hurt and force me to reposition after every lap. All that went away when I got a more solid rig with an actual car seat on it lol.
I love this setup. Space has been optimal used, everything is easy to grab (don't mind the boxes at bottom Kallax :D), nothing useless or dust collectors.
Ordered the Everlasting Comfort cushion based on your video and it really works, stays comfy for the whole day. Makes me curious why are you using it facing backeards though. Quick tip for those who are buying it now, theres a huge sticker on the cushion and if you just try to take it off, all the glue residue will stay in the velvety material. Use a hairdryer to heat it up and then pull it off gently from the cover.
FYI Rory: your everlasting comfort cushion seat pad is back to front. The U shape is supposed to go at the back leaving a space for your lower spine/coccyx.
Those wires!!!!! I would get a wall mount network rack and place it high up on the wall next to the A/C unit. Just run 1 cable from the Fiber ONT up to the router. I would also get an underdesk wire basket and mount that underneath your desk in the back to clean up all the wires.
love your integration of all the electronics specially the Stream Deck it is epic I love when people actually spend time in using the stuff the buy. Love your compact but epic setup keep going.

If you knew Rory just a bit you would know that he doesn‘t promote stuff he actually doesn‘t like just for sponsorship reasons. He tested the Thrustmaster stuff really well before even thinking about a change and also made some of his mods test the stuff at the SimRacing Expo and give him an honest feedback

Wish I could add an extra like for the use of cables! The people in my office think I'm mad for having a cable keyboard and mouse, but like you say - never have to fruit around with batteries etc., they just work, solidly and reliably! 🤓

Cool setup the only thing that looks off is the seating position. It looks like you’re sitting on the ground lol, maybe it’s just the angle of the camera tho? I have a budget rig, unmarked from China it’s just a metal frame with a car seat attached to it lol. I made a few adjustments to it to make it sit in an almost f1 cockpit position. I have a 32 inch curved monitor hung on my wall with the screen hanging just above where the wheel connects to the base so it looks like a windshield more than a screen. It’s such a compact setup it fits in a corner in my room and takes up less space than a desk would.

I have an old piano black PS3 but it broke years agk YLOD but to this day i still think its the best looking ( and equiped for the time) PS console ever, way ahead of its time in my view with touch sensitive buttons. How do you map all those different wheels for GT7 ? As in which preset profile ?
Rory you are by far the most important piece of equipment in that room, doesn't matter what tools you have at your disposal, "Thru goes Rory" is why I'm a subscriber, could of did that with a Walmart mic, just keep doing what you doing my guy....ijs 🤷🏾♂️
