This is what we want to see DEFENSIVELY. We hit some contested 3s against a great defensive team, so we can’t always rely on the 3 ball, but this Bulls team found that you can take down anybody as long as you put your heart on defense too

PW played INCREDIBLE defense on Giannis, keeping him to 8 pts in the first half. And my Bulls actually came through and hit some clutch shots. We've been the worst team in the clutch in the entire league, so it's great seeing our team perform down the stretch for a change! So many of our losses could have been wins like the Orlando game (yuck, that ending still hurts lol)

As a Bulls fan I'm cautiously optimistic about this team. For us to climb up the ranks we need growth from our young players and consistent effort from all involved. The Bulls were unable to compete with the best of the NBA last season and winning ball games like this and the one prior against Boston was out of the question. The only game we beat Boston was the start of the season when they were still finding themselves and we never beat the Bucks. Though we competed well enough against them in a couple of losses a win like this was unthinkable. The road trip out west starting tonight will tell us more. IF our defense can be counted on, Coby can hit key late game 3's, and Ayo and Williams continue to grow we can be something nice this and next season. At least nice for Chicago and it's fans. 'Zo's not even back yet and Goran Dragic who has been a key piece for us this season did not play against the Celtics or Bucks. But Bulls pulled two tough games out and played well. We need to be the kind of team that can blueprint games like this and carry it forward. It remains a concern how much scoring DeMar needs to do sometimes for us to win but hopefully that won't be the case as this team continues to develop. It is nice to see him take and make 3's the last two games, however. Should he choose to add those to his bag on the regular and hits 'em consistently it can only help.
Lavine is my favourite player, and I think the combination of his outside shooting and athleticism is unmatched in the whole league. But his shot selection is really questionable. He could've driven and dunked so easily, but he very often chooses some tough jumpshots. Does he have some complex? To prove he is more than a dunker?
As a C's fan, Bulls are no joke this year. Seems like their defense and LaVine's confidence, effort, & execution are the only thing holding them back from being next level.
