They're different from the other kpop groups. That's why people said BTOB has their own genre of kpop. They're popular as one of the best vocal kpop group. Mostly their songs are ballad but they're so good in many genre. This killing voice prove it. If you like their vocals you must react more of BTOB's songs and live performances. They are most famous for ballads, but they are a dance group! Ballads also have choreography! They seem to be very calm idols just by singing ballads, but their nicknames are comedians! Multiple members are musical actors. You spotted Sungjae and he has been in Goblin as well as multiple other shows. Peniel just released a solo song. He is from Chicago and has a podcast on Dive Studios. The one on the left, Minhyuk, is a super muscle man. His solo song Boom has a great MV. I love them all and can't pick a bias in this group, maybe Changsub. If you like ATEEZ and Stray Kids, there was a performance contest show called Kingdom and there were three performances with all three groups together (dance, rap and vocals) Those were some of my favs. (There are only 4 members from BtoB in this show as two were in the military at the time). I will say that they are a very unserious group and so very funny

The main rapper, Minhyuk, on the far left, is famously known for saying, "I rap because I like to rap, not because I can't sing." edit* Peniel, the member on the far right who yall wanted to hear more of is one of the lead rappers. He's not as confident in his vocals as the other members, but he has a beautiful tone in Wind And Wish, and a beautiful bright tone in My Lady. He also recently released 2 new songs where he doesn't rap at all, and its just vocals: Daydream ft JUNNY and MIoBI (Make it or Break It). He's also a host on the DIVE Podcast, and has been taking vocal lessons. His brother is a kpop producer named Kairos whose written for the likes of GOT7 and Twice.
After doing the show Kingdom: Legendary War together BtoB adopted Stray Kids and Ateez. Minhyuk (blue shirt) has said that the Stray Kids think his apartment is their second dorm. I have also seen livestreams where Minhyuk reacted to Ateez new music videos saying he had to support his dongsangs (little brothers). Minhyuk looks like he’s got a lot of swagger (maybe because of the muscles) but he’s the kindest human. Sungjae’s (Goblin actor) got a bit of swagger but it’s because he’s the Maknae and he knows all his hyungs adore him. Eunkwang’s the leader but everybody else teases him a lot. Cause he has a great sense of humor. Peniel (gray sweater) has swagger that says, “I’m from Chicago.” If you want to hear more from him he has a couple of solo albums. And Hyunshik (green hair) writes most of the group’s title tracks, can be very fierce and also released a solo album last Spring. His father was a famous Singer back in the 80s. Changsub, does a lot of musical theatre and is just a funny person, although Eunkwang is probably the funniest. (In my opinion)
Hyunsik and Changsub (4th and 5th member counting from the left) are graduates of practical music from Howon university. It is the hardest university to enter during their time, the acceptance rate for the year they joined was so low, it was on the Guinness world record for the lowest university acceptance rate that year. Only 3 females and 2 males were chosen for early admission and the 2 males were Hyunsik and Changsub 🤯🤯 And on top of that, Eunkwang (3rd member from the left) was chosen to be the main vocal of the group, and Sungjae (actor) is able to keep up with them, this shows how scary this group is vocally. Tbh I can't believe that they were all put in a group together instead of becoming main vocals in various groups. My guess is that cube at the time was on a budget so they can't make any more groups, hence we are so lucky to have this vocal powerhouse of a group rn.

The sound quality isn't so great cause some of their harmonizing parts were lowered because they said they were very loud that their audio overlapped each other 🤣🤣🤣🤣 killing voice just couldn't handle their raw talent

Thank you for reacting to BtoB! They're one of the first groups that got me into kpop 10+ years ago and are well known as ballad kings and vocal powerhouses. I'm so glad you enjoyed them as they really do bring something different to the table. I'm sure it's been recommended plenty but the show Kingdom: Legendary War features ATEEZ, Stray Kids, and BtoB (though some of BtoB were in the military at the time) - including some amazing collaboration stages between them. Unfortunately I think it tends to get blocked on youtube but is worth a watch regardless if you enjoy all three.

Another spoiler: the guy from Goblin (Sungjae) is the maknae of the group. 🫶🏼 Peniel, the guy in gray, if I remember correctly just went though surgery around this time (not sure if before or after the filming of this video) and was in pain during most of the promotion period for Wind and Wish- even missing out some of the activities that's why the members did not want to put a lot of weight on him esp at this time. This might explain why you felt like he wasn't very much involved here (which is a valid reaction). If you want to check more of Peniel's songs, he has a latest single release titled 'Daydream'. Not much rap but solid vocals there too! (He's Korean-American which is why most of his solos are in English.) I've been into kpop for 16 years and BTOB are one of the most talented groups vocally across all groups I've ever listened to. Frankly, other kpop groups just can't recreate their vibe because it relies heavily on stable and strong vocals - which many current groups don't have across their entire group or aren't comfortable attempting something outside of "the norm". Most of BTOB come from musically talented families and grew up singing with their parents. They debuted with a different image more in line with 2012 idols, but came to their own sound later with success in songs like "It's Okay". BTOB are one of the more respected idol groups in Korea thanks to their ballad work. The song "Missing You" that they played first in this video got #1 on all charts. Also, "Blue Moon" wasn't a Trot song. It's Jazzy. ^^
Yook Sungjae (2nd guy from the left) is the protagonist of "Golden Spoon", it is a very good kdrama and Sungjae surprises with his acting. Recommend it 100%. Guy in grey (Peniel) has a podcast called Get real and you can listen it and undertand it very well since he speaks English (he was born in US)

Thank you for reacting to BtoB! They're one of the first groups that got me into kpop 10+ years ago and are well known as ballad kings and vocal powerhouses. I'm so glad you enjoyed them as they really do bring something different to the table.
I'm sure it's been recommended plenty but the show Kingdom: Legendary War features ATEEZ, Stray Kids, and BtoB (though some of BtoB were in the military at the time) - including some amazing collaboration stages between them. Unfortunately I think it tends to get blocked on youtube but is worth a watch regardless if you enjoy all three.

Peniel, the guy in gray, if I remember correctly just went though surgery around this time (not sure if before or after the filming of this video) and was in pain during most of the promotion period for Wind and Wish- even missing out some of the activities that's why the members did not want to put a lot of weight on him esp at this time. This might explain why you felt like he wasn't very much involved here (which is a valid reaction).
If you want to check more of Peniel's songs, he has a latest single release titled 'Daydream'. Not much rap but solid vocals there too! (He's Korean-American which is why most of his solos are in English.) He also has a lot of rap singles too tho- Flip, BOD, That Girl etc. (All members of BTOB has solo stuff you might want to check out too hehe 😉💙)
PPS. 4 of them (Minhyuk, Eunkwang, Hyunsik and Peniel) has a song release this coming October 31 as part of the prereleases for their album on 2025! We'll appreciate the support and may you give them lots of love. 🥰

I've been into kpop for 16 years and BTOB are one of the most talented groups vocally across all groups I've ever listened to. Frankly, other kpop groups just can't recreate their vibe because it relies heavily on stable and strong vocals - which many current groups don't have across their entire group or aren't comfortable attempting something outside of "the norm". Most of BTOB come from musically talented families and grew up singing with their parents. They debuted with a different image more in line with 2012 idols, but came to their own sound later with success in songs like "It's Okay". BTOB are one of the more respected idol groups in Korea thanks to their ballad work. The song "Missing You" that they played first in this video got #1 on all charts.
Also, "Blue Moon" wasn't a Trot song. It's Jazzy. ^^

Yook Sungjae (2nd guy from the left) is the protagonist of "Golden Spoon", it is a very good kdrama and Sungjae surprises with his acting. Recommend it 100%. Guy in grey (Peniel) has a podcast called Get real and you can listen it and undertand it very well since he speaks English (he was born in US)
