I just watched your awesome video of your time in Switzerland and I loved it. You both captured some beautiful scenery. You are correct, the Swiss are proud of their products and we feel it in the wallet every time lol. Thanks sooooo much for sharing this awesome vlog.
They really really were. Thank you! Going to keep trying to improve on it. So many amazing places to hike here and we definitely want to take advantage of the opportunity 🙏🏼
You should have tried the Glacier Express... The slowest Express train in the world from Zermatt to St. Moritz... Another really beautiful from the train... Or the Bernina Express (from Chur to Tirano/Italy) with a lot of tunnels and turns, too...
The Piz Gloria Restaurant was headquarter of Blofeld (played by Telly Savalas aka Kojak) in the Bond movie "Im Geheimdienst ihrer Majestät" with George Lazenby as 007...As you've seen on the cardboard cutout...
You really should visit Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the nearby Zugspitze (the biggest mountain in Germany, there is a rack railway up to it and also a cable railway). It's as beautiful as in Switzerland... These are the German alps....
I really enjoy you both and I would love to have you both as a guest on an upcoming LIveStream in the near future. This will be a great way for me and your subscribers to get to know you both better. Thank You for even considering my request. I can't wait to hear your thoughts :)!!! PS- Sorry about putting this here but I tried to send this message on IG but it won't let me, lol.
You are right, it really looks beautiful fake! It looks unique, like there isnt a second place on earth like the european alps. The combination of grey rocks, white peaks and green grass and flowers in different colors is breathtaking. The waterfall was amazing aswell. As i wrote this comment, it was the 24 august 2023 and sadly rainy days are comming. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and the next week is going to be rainy, i think. I know it zucks if you want to spend times outside and it is raining cats and dogs all the time, but maybe this is time for loooking for new ideas to explore places in Germany and more Neighboring countries of Germany?? I can give you a list with dozen of towns and countryside to visit, just in Germany. Would be a repeat of names and places of course. Casey's Burger reminds me of a Burger i ate last year in an american restauran in Germany. The Freeway B42, American Restraurant nearby the town of Rüsselsheim. The menus of the Freeway B42 says, they prepare everything fresh. Just visit their website and read a bit there. That would be acutal fun, i think. Eat and compare the food and meal with an american restaurant in America. Better is reservate a table or you may have to leave hungry. I do not know where you live currently, but if you live in the Rhine-Main-Area you shuld go for it. I recommend it. The milchshakes are a dream of taste too in my opinion. Oh, if you hike in the the italian parts of the alps and eastaustria, be aware of wild brown bears. It is not like you may spot brown bears everytime, but the chances you came across wild bears are there. Recently an italian jogger was killed by a brown bear.
It really is special and unique! Beautiful! And yes please! We definitely want to explore other cities in Germany and have a few on a list but would be grateful for more ideas on locations 🙏🏼. And absolutely to the American restaurant! We have actually had that mentioned a few times to try and do and have been wanting to do that soon so that will be a lot of fun! And good tip on the bears…we didn’t know they were there so that’s important info! 🙏🏼
Heather really should wear proper hikling socks and not those silly little fashion sockettes. The socks will protect her feet from rubbing on the boots, and also from stinging nettles. brambles etc.. Well done on the walk though. The vertical height difference beween Lauterbrunnen and Mürren is 2 300 ft, so Casey had it right when he said that he couldn't reconcile "easy walk" and the mountain faces he could see. The Lauterbrunnen valley has such steep sides it is often called the Lauterbrunnen Trench. I'm surprised you didn't see/show anyparagliding/wing-suit flying: Lauterbrunnen valley really is the European epicentre for jumping off cliffs !
@@CompassChronicleTravelsI would recommend Partnachklamm in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Breitachklamm in Oberstdorf. Nice and cool in summer, easy to handle even for the inexperienced. Incredible experience.🙋♂️
Haha thank you! it’s ok! We have a good laugh at how terrible my weather app is at predicting the weather 😆. Just gotta make the best of it when it comes
What beautiful countryside, these are the kind of moments you never forget.
Absolutely!! Unforgettable trip with remarkable landscape. Those are our favorite sorts of trips 🫶🏼

A little tip Austria and Bavaria is cheaper!
FACTS!! We went there a while back and noticed that right away on this trip. We loved that area just as much too!
