For SIX YEARS They Just DUMPED Everything In The Backyard Of The School

  • Transforming the backyard of a school. A new customer gave me an assignment. We needed to cut the grass in the front and back yards of the school, clear the back yard of old leaves and branches, remove the old rotten fence, haul away the rest of the paving stones, then level the ground and sow a new lawn. As it turned out, another company had been just dumping everything at the end of the yard for 6 years and the whole pile had turned into compost, so it took me 14 full trailers to take it all to the recycling center. It was raining hard and I didn't have time to video everything as the camera just flooded. It was all finished in July, and I mowed the new lawn in August, and now the grass will get thicker over time.

There are more people who appreciate you and what you do that outweighs the negative or judgmental comments. I’m glad your channel was recommended to me. 😁 I’m here in the Central Valley in California and we rarely get rain, we’ll, most of California gets a lot of rain! Lol.. Just a lot of snow in our California mountains in the Winter..I’m two hours from the Pacific Ocean, and two hours from our local mountains. I have three huge tall pine trees, my gardener is here every Monday and he does a really good job but have the pine trees, that’s a lot of maintenance on each. During the week, we do our own cleaning up if needed and a new backyard patio, with a new patio cover with a ceiling fan if I want to sit outside in the shade and keep cool with the ceiling fan and I love my new patio furniture! If you ever come to California, we’ll bbq for you! 😁🩷

What a great transformation! I understand the problems when mowing tall 'wet' grass. The University Landscape crew I worked with before retirement ended up using a vegetable oil cooking spray aerosol to coat the underside of a clean-dry mowing deck before approaching such thick, juicy turf. It worked pretty well. It also made post-mowing equipment cleanup a breeze. Your project vlogs are often amazing. You seem to take on the big-messy jobs. Or, at least, those are the ones you post. Hahaha Cheers.

But when I buy a new mower I will definitely use the spray again.

If that is a University complex, WOW, the students are well looked after and with grounds like that to walk or sit in wonderful.

If you take a cordless drill and an Allen wrench and put it on that crank that would help to crank the bed up and make it easier to dump.😁

I think it was a hydraulic pump? Not sure. If so, a drill wouldnt work on that.

Hmmm, für den Laubberg braucht man entweder eine gehörige Portion Wut oder extrem viel Ausdauer. Eine große Aufgabe ❤

Phenomenal amount of work. Wonder if it was profitable and worth taking it on. To avoid overdoing it maybe do it in parts if they are still your clients going forward. Great job as usual.

My goodness that was a mission. Looks good now though. Great soil from the years of rotting leaves. Should have thrown some tomatoes seeds in the soil as well. Haha
