  • In this video we review the Small Loop Campground at Ricketts Glen State Park. This section has full hook up sites that are back in and pull thru. The park has a beach, a lake, multiple hiking trails and a series of waterfalls and an old growth forest. The bathhouses are clean and there are nice restaurants nearby. This was the first trip for Phoebe J - our Camping Cocker Spaniel. We camp in a Jayco JayFlight 224 BH that we pull with a Ram 2500.

We love that campground. And you guys were the best people to camp beside. We were the 1s with Mollie and Maya.

Tent camped there 20 years ago. Place has been greatly modified since then.

Did you upgrade your TV? Did I miss that somewhere along the way? Glad you could go to Ricketts Glen. Amazing waterfalls there.

The TV is the same TV I had in my KZ 180, I transferred it over when I bought the 224 BH. Thanks for watching.

Cool. I didn’t know they have big rig sites. I gotta take ride there and see if I can fit my 43 ft diesel there. It’s only 2 hours away.

I think you could fit it on a site. You need to book 11 months in advance to get there full hook up sites. Thanks for watching.

Also, I have a friend of mine that works for DCNR. He says Moraine is planning to get RV sites.

I’m staying in the same site that you are in August and now I’m a bit concerned about not having trees for shade

That area is the new area so the trees aren't mature yet in the loop. It has full hook ups so you can run a/c. Thanks for watching.
