Thanks for the credit Chrissy. I still think that you are one of the best singers to ever come out of the Vancouver area. I sure miss those days. You guys kicked ass!
Magnet to Steele should’ve been #1 in every country when it was released. I still listen to it all the time. Haha I even had the big ass promo poster! The album just simply rocks and kicks ass all through it! The voice strength and power vocals hit just right, songs all just worked!! I know the music scene was changing fast at the time, but I’ve always felt the label still could’ve worked much harder on her behalf when that album was released. It was more than worth it! That’s how it seemed to me here In the states anyway.
There were a ton of great bands in the Vancouver club circuit. We had lots of places to play and it was a full time job. We really had a chance to learn our craft on stage. Not so much now!
@@ChrissySteeleOfficial This reminds me of catching live bands in Winnipeg in 1991 when I finally caught on to this great stuff. Tons of amazing musicians from all over Canada would come through. Sadly, it was over by 1993. I wish I had been old enough to catch this stuff in '86.
Vocally, you did an outstanding job. You obviously have the range and ability to belt. BTW, who was singing the upper harmony? They did a great job too. Okay, I have to say ... The keyboard player was playing a few wrong notes during the intro to the first and second verse, and his timing wasn't consistent. (Sorry, I'm a keyboardist and I've played the crap out of this and many other Heart songs over the years, so I'm a bit critical...) But really a great job overall by everyone! Kudos!
Just Awesome! Talented Vocalist that deserves so much more recognition!

Holy .... The holy trinity has been broken. Anne Wilson, Darby Mills, Gigi Hangatch, and Chrissy Steele. Mind blowing live.

Labels jumped on the grunge bandwagon. It's an old story but that's life :)
so say we all
Awesome, glad to see you came back after 30 years. That's about the same time I've been retired from Pro Music...
Amazing voice!!!
Amazing performance!!!!! If Ann saw this, she would be amazed and proud!
Eagerly anticipating the new one popping up here.
Well, It's obvious. Pure talent, great presence, one of the best female vocals I've heard.
