I have to say this Song and this Moment is probably my favorite moment for Christine’s Character in both POTO and LND combined! I don’t feel enough Phans truly appreciate what this moment is…it’s Christine finally coming into her own freaking agency, for once! It’s Christine finally taking charge of her own life for a change and doing something she wants to do, not what anybody is forcing or guilt tripping her into doing. It’s goes much deeper than her just choosing between The Phantom and Raoul, it’s about who is truly letting her fly and who is trying to hold her back. It’s about Christine realizing her love for music never died, her love for singing never died even though she ‘tried to deny it and tried to protest’…after 10 years of being muted she found herself again. I just love how Manon tears up during this song ❤ because the sheer happiness Christine must feel to be singing again would probably drive her to tears, it’s beautiful.
I believe most of the tours are shorter in general; don’t count me on that! For example the Las Vegas tour for Phantom Of The Opera was quite short. So maybe this is the same thing??
@@phantomv5627No...not usually shorter. I have seen Phantom on tour and it was the same length as in the West End and Broadway. Las Vegas was an exception in this case.
Ms. Taris delievered a powerful version, filled with conflicting emotions--quite an achievement!. Wish I was there. It had to bring the house down.

She is the best
her VOICE!! i only wonder why they are rushing her through the score, do they have to stay within a certain time limit?

A creative choice most likely I think.
