Your automotive camera work is professional level, why not get a tripod for the recording of your discussions? Would really elevate the video from amateur to professional.

We appreciate the kind words Karl! We have one, but we are currently in search of a more natural feel to our videos. Rather than do what every other RUclips journalist is doing, we are in the process of carving our own little niche and finding ways we hope to stand out. Thank you for watching and being a part of this journey we are on. All the best.

@@ExhibitionofSpeedThe problem is when you do things like check the side of tire to see the size mid video it questions your credibility. It's silly, but it's psychological. Anyways, keep up the good work guys! Wish you all the best in growing the channel.

That corner you took that broke traction made me go back to the day you were behind me in your stinger as you pissed me off by playing throttle all the while My foot is pegged taking that corner 85mph with all that under steer lol

Funny enough, that was Gavin driving on those S-Curves in the RS. What a great little car that was.

@@ExhibitionofSpeed nice! I like them, I have a 19 fusion 2.0 eco beast. For being shy of 4,000lbs it pulls pretty decent. Once I did away with that waste of plastic grille shutter it woke the car up quite a bit. I am 100 percent surprised with its performance. Want to do a cat less 3 inch downpipe front mount and cold air intake with what I like to call the “Dustin tune” I am overall happy with the car. I want to get a draggy, IMO I think this car has to have a base map it pulls way to hard to have a factory tune to only make 245 crank and weighing 3,8xx. I put a couple cars on 3 gtis mods unknown. And I hung with a golf R we couldn’t get a solid hit but I held him at half a car behind him to 120 from 70

I'd be more concerned on the head gaskets, since all 2016s & early 2017s need replacements. It's a performance hatch, not a luxury sedan. Everyone has an opinion but a Miata will never look as good as a Focus RS. If someone likes the RS but thinks it's too hard core, then save yourself 12k & buy an ST1.

The RS's that were affected by the head gaskets have likely all been taken care of by now. Like IMS bearings with Porsche M96 motors, the head gasket issue is something worth looking into during the research process.
      Thanks for watching!

I drove an RS back to back with a Type-R at work and it left me very empty feeling about the RS. I didn't hoon either beyond getting to the speed limit, and that was the crux of it.
The RS has so much more turbo lag that it's near impossible to use the boosted powerband in a city. (Under 50mph) Also looking at the plain Focus dash is very disenchanting. It feels like a, well, Focus.
The CTR looked better on the inside and was in the powerband much sooner, making for a more special drive.

The RS is great to drive on a fun backroad. But as stated in the video, we couldn't live with it.
The CTR, Gavin drove for all of 15 minutes, whereas we were blessed with having the RS all day long. The experiences were vastly different. With that said, we need to get both CTR and RS for a comparo. We'll post about that when it happens.
