About the legendary farm in the boss arena: if you change mayhem level the boss spawns will reset, but not the progression on the map, so you can open the fountain, check wich bosses are inside the arena and reset if necessary. The fountain remains open so you just have to kill the boss outside to open the door.
@@AwesomeNuke Nope. As long as you dont kill Joey ultraviolet the map won't reset. You still have to run from the spawn and kill the under boss at the door, but the fountain stays open. This also resets which underbosses spawn in every location. Example: if you want to farm for a yellowcake, you would go into the Joey fight, and if both fishslap and smallums are the two underbosses, you kill them, and then kill yourself. This makes you respawn up top and they stay there. On the other hand, if you go into the boss fight and only one of those two, or neither, are the 2 underbosses, you can save and quit. This will reset the underboss locations AND keep the fountain open.
So many issues with the new update but youtubers dont say anything.. Everything is just perfect for them.. maybe i am the only one with the massive lag.
There is a particular modifier that lags for me and i have never lagged before but with that modifier the game crashes every time. Its the one with the invincibility drones. Once i rolled to a different mod i had no issues
I was farming the slaughter shaft a few days ago on mayhem 5 for fun and there were so many legendaries from the cartel call-ins ect that the ammo crates and boxes had nothing in them when I opened them.
Pro tip: if scrap prime kills fish slap it counts towards the challenge. Edit: not 100% on this but it may also count if a regular scrap trap does it with a melee attack
You amazing thanks for the idea of the grease gun me and my buddy were playing around with this and ended up figuring out how to kill alot of the boss in 1 to 2 seconds with this co op grease gun it is truly a boss killing gun and I feel this gun is highly under rated and I feel there are some really cool interaction that can be utilized with two friends creating builds that work with each other to make this a unique gun that stand alone with billions of guns in this game we are blending amara and mode build togeather to boost this grease gun to very high levels really excited to mess around with two different characters build into one gun build awesome
dammit finally. someone made sense about "farming" the mansion. everybody was saying to restart the whole thing again after you kill the boss. i make it a point to farm OPQ and pewpew every 10 levels or so to make my journey easier. sad that pewpew did not get much spotlight on this but i like how it shreds flesh based enemies.
2 things .. 1. Killing fish slap with melee is easy if you use the facepuncher preferably using Amara .. 2. The scraptrap minions do indeed stop spawning .. It takes them a while but i always clear out the minions b4 i focus on the boss
Can't recommend the nopewpew??? It shoots 3 bullets for the price of one, and spawns a lavapool when it kills. This gun is great, idk wtf you're talking about. 😂
Farming-fun-fact: When you have the lootsplosion modifier active, the Katagawa clones have a chance to drop legendaries, if you 1-shot the mob with a Yellowcake for example. I was unlucky regarding Sandhawks yet, but i get 2-3 extra legendaries every other run. Sometimes they drop out of map, depending on the clones jump pattern though :(
i found athenas to be the best map to get the 30 drop for the mansion. no vehicle, short distances in between the maliwan troops. i typically get all 30 by the halfway point (second vending machine location, middle of map). if not pop in the grave yard, and also get the red dev chest from the brewery while there.
The o.p.q. is awesome by the way it serves as a ripper of enemies in assault rifle form and the other mode is an automated sniper which can help with transfusion bombs and your beast if flack n right shield you can attack other dudes you can see then finish them off basically
Another good spot to far m the decoder rings to kill Joey is Lectra City. Tons of spawn areas all over that map, in each spawn you can get anywhere from 5-15 decoders! And there are over a dozen spawn areas! I can get 30 in 2 and a half minutes usually. I farmed Joey for an hoir and a half last night and got 5 OP Q Systems, only two were useful though.
"buddy system increases difficulty" . I almost always use a co-op mule to double my chances to get legendaries w/ good rolls. I was getting crushed building up pre-2.0 gear. Forgot to add mule and got considerably easier. Thought I was getting better. Later, did co-op mule and crushed again. Worth it? Maybe, co-op mule got me my yellow cake, shock anarchy and sandhawk.

Lootsplosion is bugged, anything comes from activation of lootsplosion will yield mayhem zero weapons AVOID IT AT ALL COST. the best modifiers you want are; speed demon/slayer (on amara), Pool party and the drones (on Moze)/ death (On others). Also, if you are trying to farm a specific weapon its better to go into cartel, quickly get to the boss then see if you have Firewall franko (higher drop of OPQ) and Tysumm (higher drop for yellow cake). if you have any of those two in the boss arena you can begin your farm. simply get to the phase at which those two are tethered to joey then kill em and check for drops. then kill yourself without killing Joey. rinse and repeat. If the one that you wanna farm doesn't spawn in the arena simply quit out to the main menu run to the boss area (note that the first 3 doors in Joey's planet will be open but the door by the fountain is closed simply clear the front yard by the door and it will be opened. Got all my desired drops this way. Above method doesn't guarantee who is spawning. Not very efficient.
I really hope they make these special events a permanent part of the game later on for those that miss them for whatever reasons. I worked too much to participate in the Halloween event, am still low level and probably won't get to play this one either.

We both know that won't happen.....Luckily for them this game is so damn fun to play that we're all putting up with it. This is a prime example as to why I ALWAYS wait to buy a game till months after it has come out. Sadly in this case though it's been 6 months or more and I still get 2 crashes per day on my ps4. The solution here wasn`t very well explained. I found a much better 1 on another vid. I failed it using this vid. Basically u use the empty slots like a numberpad. So from top left 123, net row 456, next row 789. Hope you understand that! So the triangle will have 1,4,7 above it!

This game was great until you realyzed that nothing in game purely focused on loot is rare and u can get hundreds of "legendaries" in matter of minutes with countless of different ways. its 100% ruins all the fun of going around and collecting things. you wont get excited by anything and the fun feels cheated out of ur hands.
At first the drop rate of legendaries was low, then gearbox increased it to a stupidly high rate. They said that the high rate was supposed to be temporary but that was a few months ago. Going through the ga.e with a new character, I find the high drop rate makes things easier, especially against the harder bosses, but it makes grinding with my old characters pointless because I already have great loot from random world drops. Obliterating a raid boss by myself is cool the first time, but gets boring quick. It's also too easy with 4 players.
Oh shit... SHIFT codes are trash now!!! I'm sorry, but while many disagree, chests need to scale the loot. Grenade damage as well. Grenades are technically weapons, so why don't they?
The legendary drop rates at the scrap trap place is .... scrap... even with lootsplosion it's a joke. Not even the Even bosses are dropping legendaries... 1 out of 15 event boss dropped 1 legendary. Mayhem 10...

I'm getting so sick an tired of Borderlands 3 now. I am not getting the legendary weapons that the PC players are getting even on Mayhem 10. Just seems to me that they are concentrating on giving the PC players more perks than the platfform it was designed for.
You guys are nuts. I know some of you likes to grind in "mayhem 10" but WHY? If you love this kind of senseless grinding then more power to ya but as for me, Mayhem 6 is as high as I'll go. I don't care how great your build is, playing in Mayhem 10 is extremely hard as a single player. fighting regular enemies is like fighting a boss and fighting a boss is like 10 boss combine in health. F*CK THAT! No, thanks. I can live without the few legendary drops from farming in Mayhem 10.

Just a tip for the fish slap melee kills.
The Fish Slap grenade actually deals melee damage, meaning you could use it to score the kill.

after this new hotfix i have major fps issues.
Try turning off Hollow Point in the guardian menu and disabling every single echochast option. It helped me out.

I got a nopewpew with an annointment that gives it +%200 weapon damage while your action skill is activated. It's devastating
I've never used 2 COV weapons more than the Yellowcake and the NoPewPew.

the fire version didnt seem to count, but i had an ice version of the fish slap grenade that counted for killing FISH SLAP!!! with melee damage

for killing Fish Slapp just use a M10 face-puncher shotgun or a fish grenade on M4 or even normal mode, both weapons deal melee damage

Just FYI you can kill Fishslap with a Facepuncher Shotgun and you will get the credit for a melee kill since the gun is based on melee dmg ;)
You can reroll the underbosses who fight with Joey if u turn off the mayhem mode or change its level.

God yes. This game was sent out to the market way too soon. It's UI and overall performance is total and utter shite.

Buddy system modifier doesn't really effect me, especially with my O.P.Q. System that was form mayhem 10!
The O.P.Q. system is amazing. Its my new favorite gun, and I've just about stopped using everything else.

You guys are nuts. I know some of you likes to grind in "mayhem 10" but WHY? If you love this kind of senseless grinding then more power to ya but as for me, Mayhem 6 is as high as I'll go. I don't care how great your build is, playing in Mayhem 10 is extremely hard as a single player. fighting regular enemies is like fighting a boss and fighting a boss is like 10 boss combine in health. F*CK THAT! No, thanks. I can live without the few legendary drops from farming in Mayhem 10.
Damn bought the bl1,2, with all the DLC... and bl3... but didnt come with that dlc.... lol nah I'm good.
