That her grandma died and he could finally see why his future wife and mom of his son needed the money and her loving, caring heart, made him less suspicious of her. Like she had anything to proof to that obnoxious bastard of a ML. The fact that she hated him and he could not control her anymore, must have giving him a reality check.
