When game is not going good Broxah is like "Ok, I've got to focus" or "I just need to focus on what I can control". When enemies are flaming he offers to talk to them after game if they are having a bad day and tries to calm them down instead of flaming back. When he win he gets so excited. When his teammates do something awesome he congratulates them. Why can't every player be like this! What a completely different experience League would be.
I think bringing back jungle items would be hard with the current item meta of mythic + legendaries. You would have to somehow balance it around the fact that either new mythics are being introduced into the game, or that the item is good enough that junglers aren't being screwed by skipping out on first item mythic (if its a legendary) or losing access to current mythic options (if its a mythic). I would love if they brought back intelligent smiting though, in that every camp gives a different buff for smiting. Also the smite scaling with level was nice because it meant getting a lead on jungle actually meant something for objectives rather than just having more gold.
Why don't they bring back those Black Market Brawler minions? It's always Jungle and that's probably part of why people don't wanna play it. Aside from being one of the most verbally abused roles.
wow that first gank was amazing -- i was wondering how you were going to deal with all those enemy minions. But even cooler was how you watched what happened up top, and then as you were ganking top you watched bottom. So damn cool!
Hey Broxah, thanks for the help last time. Another question: how can i know whether to use red or blue smite? Is it a thing about what champs am i facing or the champ i'm playing?
Mostly based on the champion you're playing afaik, though there are certainly some matchups (Lillia, Hecarim, Udyr, Zeri, etc) where I take blue smite just so I can actually catch up to people.
I think everything that makes jungle role go back into like a playmaker/support role instead of hypercarry after afk farming would be good for the role. Also items specifically for jungle sound really nice
Didn't we already have that in the jungle? The little "pet" to help you. Was a few seasons ago, the item with the gold crystal I believe. It was a small purple spirit that attacked the camps with you until you gathered 30 stacks, or after you completed them. It was really broken on master yi and pre rework Warwick. Edit : back when jungle items gave you different stats. It was a green crystal one for health, blue crystal one for AP, a red crystal one for ad and the gold crystal one was giving you attack speed.
I did not know about jungle items. I just remember there were two items combined into a smiting item but with a choice of stats. Imagine if the pet thing is a new smite item
I have been trying to figure out how to play Kayn as I like playing the champion and I lost more than 100 LP and still can't figure it out. I just fall behind, is there any advice from Mr. wise Broxah. I would love to reach gold this season xD.
I'm hardly a Kayn god, but I find success on him by just powerfarming. Don't try to force fights unless they look very favorable for you. Once you get your form you're way stronger and can try for some more risky plays. Even if you know that you won't be able to get a kill from a gank, it can still be worth doing pre-form just to get progress.
@@TheLordTyphoon If I do power farm, my lanes will lose because the enemy is ganking and I will be behind anyways. Then I get spam pinged. And I also feel like I die while trying to get form a lot, which I'm working on not to die and run away after a fight.
@@helojoeywala6622 Trying to figure out which lane to gank is being a problem, I usually try to help out a losing lane and die, or play for winning lane and the enemy team brute forces my losing lane into inhib at 15 minutes. I don't know what to do.
@@monishr5514 that's where invading can help a lot. For example if the enemy jungle is camping top, track his wolf, gromp and blue timers and punish heavy for ganking. You'll get yourself ahead in levels and xp because you clear your own jungle too, as well as starving the enemy jungler farm
they mister broxah about the description, if I love Elise? No, only played her once and it felt very weird but it was a long time ago. But i got the SKT T1 Elise in loot, is that a good skin?
hi mr broxah sometimes im getting flamed (like all of us) but instead of flaming back im provoking them a bit to flame me harder so i can report them and hope they get a ban. Is this right or should i just stop doing this?
I’m not sure I like what I heard about the new jungle changes, and as someone also playing a lot of Dota and Smite I often feel Riot changes stuff in League just for the sake of changing it. In Dota you have one new hero per year and the map doesn’t change that much that often, but it’s not like the game feels stale. In Smite there’s a bit more changes but again, most of the time they’re not so big. In League I’ve always been a jungler and, despite liking trying new stuff, I often feel we have to relearn a lot every single year “just because”.
Of course they change things every season for the sake of changing it. It's much better for player retention because things feel fresh. It's not about making things better necessarily , just changing things up to keep people interested
@@voidroad I know but that's exactly my point: Smite changes stuff(expecially jungle) less than LOL, and Dota 2 even more and they add one single hero per year. Doesn't feel like the playerbase is going down that much or that people leave because they're missing random "just because" changes in those two games.
@@agoniavr well smite playerbase is so small its kind of irelevant and dota is way more complicated so no need to change as much because you take a lot more time to learn everything
@@voidroad yep I know. As mentioned I still like changes from time to time, but playing all three games(jungling in Smite and League and mostly offlane in Dota 2, used to jungle when it was viable) I often feel that League is the only one that forces me to relearn the role I've been playing for years for no real reason. You don't see mid, adc, sup or top need to relearn almost everything every new season, yet for junglers it's the norm. I'd like them to find a good jungle experience that works and can be slightly tweaked to balance the role and map without drastically changing everything all the time.
no hate. but i don't think you fully know udyr's indentety. they lean alot more into it in the new one. it is still animals, but they are now the gods of freljord
Would be cool if the Jungle pets were actually a mythic item. So there would be like 3 different jungle items, like one for AD, one AP and a tank item, and they all have different jungle pets to them. So if you buy the tank item, the next time you kill the golems, instead of killing it you capture it. Then you have it like a pokeball that you can throw at any time to help you tank objectives or teamfights.
