- Our van build recap timelapse. After deciding to begin with this adventure it took a few months until we found our Mercedes Benz Sprinter. In that period of time we search for best electric system components, planned layout, etc. After some mechanical inspection we started by taking all old plywood sheets out, cleaning the rust, installing Maxxfan, Dometic midi heki skylight, side windows, Dometic window, solar panel. And after all outside installs, we started our controversial journey with spray foam insulation. We got so many different opinions about this topic but we still continued by putting plywood on the sprayed walls, finishing window frames. We reached design stage where we made our own wooden brackets for ceiling, back doors and bulkhead. We used cork to finish our walls. Completed electric system and build benches for sitting area. It's a long journey, we have good and bad days. But at the end we are enjoying this adventure and learning so much about ourselves. If you are interested in details visit our channel!

Hi, ty for watching ✌️
perfect for camping and adventure...
that's the plan :>
Chrome of Vancity vanlife should watch this.
Everyone welcome 🚙
I am goin to follow this build, Vancity Vanlife is just starting his Sprinter build now, he could use some ideas. I know! Realy nice camper! 🤩
Thanks! Happy to share some ideas ✌️
Hi,can you, please ,put some links with most important stuff :windows, fan , electrical stuff, etc. cheers
Hi, talking more about the details, models at the each segment which we have videos on. But long story short - we bought stuff in local small camper builder shops. Most of the things is time tested van builders stuff so I believe it would be better to search around your area ;)
No experience but the right tools 😂
We invested by buying some, renting or borrowing from parents 😁
Why put those holes in the roof? I think they would be just as affective on the side walls or the back doors. What do you all think?
Those holes were already there by factory, if you talking about solar brackets fixations, we just opened the plastic rubber sealing. But you are right and we did install one fan on the backdoor side for better air circulation but its hard to notice in the hundred's of hours timelapses
Well done, both the Build and the Video. 👏🏼
Which Sprayfoam did you use?
Thanks! Penosil, easy spray, not sure how widespread this brand other countries is 😅
@ thanks for fast Feedback. And yes, it‘s available on Amazon also here in Germany 🤠👍🏼
Great job - but is this van (ready to travel) well below 3500 kg?
Hey, just measured it at scales, so 3 tons as of it stands now. I believe it's 80% done with everything.
@@rolling-home ... You know that when done you've to put in full fuel an half water and add two passengers AND stay below 3,5 tons on the scale ... Could be a close call ... (at least in Germany)
Definetly could.
@@rolling-home In case you can hollow out the inner wooden structures to a skeleton ... ;-)
Bad idea, burying the cables in foam. You may need to dig them out to repair.
Repair what? I can just make a new one thrue the cabbins if needed. Do you have your cables outside ur walls at home too tho? 😅
Что то я не понял, а что у вас не будет спальных мест?😊
The build it not yet finished, we will 😅
Great video,fuggin awful music.
sorry to hear that, can't afford big libraries subscription yet
