For many of your followers who are in the lower high end hifi range, the Moon 891/861 combo and how you would judge them on your big Magicos would be extremely exiting.
Dynaudio make fantastic speakers. The top down to the entry level line are all solid within their price points. You can listen to for hours on end because that is one of their key design goals.
I found the new 761 interesting and different. But that’s it. I couldn’t live with it. I found the equalization adjustments (Presence) annoying at times. It can make some tracks harsh. I wouldn’t trade it for the 760A, much less pay $6K more for it. It honestly sounds like a cheap budget amp from Best Buy. I’m really not hearing any value-add from the new architecture, components, or whatever they claim to justify the price hike. I hear EQ adjustments and less musicality. It’s in your face all the time sound, and that gets old after a while.
Very nice. Never heard Simaudio/Moon sound that smooth and natural. Good job .
sounds great even on youtube
Love it!!! Sounds smooth n musical
I love my older and cheaper simaudio gear, I'm sure I'd like these even more!!

Would your prefer the 761 and 791 over the Boulder 866? I have not heard this system, but contemplating it for my Wilson Watt 7

👍👍
music too slow to evaluate. a classic trick of audio shows
Bohemian Rhapsody is a good choice. Gazillions of people know it intimately and it's got so many sudden dynamic shifts.
