Jimmy Buffett’s Jazz Funeral and Ancestor Unveiling

The 2024 Jazz Fest celebrated Jimmy Buffett’s legacy in a big way.
A display inside the Fair Grounds’ grandstand charts his history with the festival and a jazz funeral procession in Buffett’s honor traveled across the Fair Grounds to the Ancestors area at the Congo Square Stage, where his likeness was enshrined.

I'm a parrot head- always have been - this is what Jimmy would want. When I feel sad cause of this crazy fruitcake world, I think about Jimmy and I feel better. Sail on Jimmy, to those shores unknown with your father, and his father.....🦜⛵
