Ya, like I’m not a “Swiftie” personally, but I also don’t hate her music. Personally, her vocals, aren’t for me, but lyrically, I think she’s extremely talented. It’s kinda the same with Selena Gomez honestly - phenomenal actress - like PHENOMENAL. But singer? Eh, love her lyrics, but her voice is just kind of average to me. Both amazing people though in general, very kind and lovely. 😊👍

I’m a swiftie and i agree that people shouldn’t be saying she is better than everyone else because there are a lot of amazing artists that are really great but no one is better than anyone else. You can’t compare different styles of music, they are too different. Just because she is my favorite doesn’t mean she is better than everyone else

I am a swifty. but I am also a decent human. I have left 3 Taylor Swift groups on Facebook because of the bullying and narcissism and immaturity. I have literally seen other swifties give death threats because of having different opinions on her songs. I've literally seen hate for Taylor herself from swifties for something she said or done. and i can defend Taylor but im not defending how horrible and violent swifties are.

like it honestly must be disappointing for Taylor Swift,like imagine being in her shoes,wanting to become a singer like any other young girl at her age? like first of all,props to her for coming this far,but to go from a successful singer to a 'leader' to this community it's just such a shame. like to become a fan to any other artist you can just hop in the car,tune into a radio station and listen to a song,idk,know a few words and boom,you're a fan,and obviously you get brownie points for getting a cd,going to a concert,wearing a short with their name but to become so obsessed with the fact of being a 'swifty' it more feels like a chore than anything else.
Yes!!! I’m a swiftie and my friends hate her so they are like “this artist is so much better! Taylor sucks!” (They talk about Taylor more than me lol) and I try to say “well I like her music and i think she is good but it’s okay if you don’t.” But I never say she’s better or worse than anyone. No one should compare artists anyway (especially from different genres) because you can’t compare music that is so vastly different.

Swifties have always been annoying as hell, but this tour has made them absolutely insufferable. There’s no denying that Taylor is one of the most talented artists of all time but her psychotic stans will literally kill their entire families if she told them to.
As a Swiftie who is also a part of other fandoms, yeah, it's definitely the worst fandom I'm in. In general, the Fandom based around celebrities and real life people seem more crazy than Fandoms for like books, movies, and TV shows. Not always, but just my observation
Honestly Swifties didn't start this, Beyonce fans started it and are still doing it, even to harry styles. I think swifties only do that as defense mechanism because to be honest Taylor has been attacked a lot in the industry and yeah I've been hearing her tickets are expensive but at least she made it worth it, she's performing 3 hours and it's not like any other tour, it's a tour of her musical journey

I feel like 90% of people who say Taylor is their favourite artist havent really listened to any other music. The are 60-70 years of music to choose from, from Ella Fitzgeralt to Withney Houston to Aretha Franklin, or Frank Sinatra, Elvis, MJ, Freddie and so many more Rock Bands or not even Rock Bands but Jazz, Swing and R&B Singers. I think Taylors Lyrics are pretty good but they dont really feel outstanding to me. Lile i listen to a lot ad out there are so many deeper and more emotional lyrics than hers. And tbh, her Vocals are good but there are definitely much better vocalists in music. I dont dislike her as a person, she seems great, but when I just cant really get how you can say she is the best singer or artist ever. And i know many swifties in my area that really have small music knowledge, i dont judge someone enjoying her music, but saying she is the best ever without even letting someone change their opinion is just dumb (i think thats the right word) in my opinion

Like all fandoms do that but some Swifties I’ve come across are pretty hardcore that it gets toxic… We know she’s great but let’s stop bringing down other artists when they achieve something.
There's also a lot of fake Swifties, especially on twitter, fake swifties will compare her to huge artists like Michael Jackson so people will throw hate on Taylor. A lot of people fall for these, hate trains about Taylor generate a lot of likes and engagements.

I'm a swifty, been following her since Love Story and YBWM, and i agree with this man. In all the fanclubs I've joined, new fans are super competitive, especially those who joined after the KK incident (she earned a lot of fans since she switched to pop but that was nothing to compare after the KK incident). These fans are super protective and supportive of her, which is a good thing since pp like me is wayyy low-keier and only like her as an artist who creates art. However, it's also these people that bring the competitiveness and toxicity to the fandom. Wars every day, and not as many jokes can be passed as jokes anymore. And if someone says something Taylor-related, that person is going to be met with heavy scrutiny. Too much drama overall, to the point i'm no longer proud to declare myself a swifty anymore lol

As a swiftie, I can confirm the large majority of the fandom is really annoying, but there are some of us who are actually sane. I think it's ridiculous to compare artists, honestly. Just enjoy the music and the talent and leave it at that.

How did 69,000 people spend $1000 or more on tickets. That is like $600,000 for one show at the minimum.
Edit: The average is probably around $1000 because of the seats close. I know some people spent 1k on seats that were still really far from the stage so closer is probably at least worth a cat and an elephant
I got tickets and went in Nashville night three(aka rain show) we were up top and got the tickets for 150 but we had to wait 8 hours in a waiting room online sooo…
they were originally like $150-$600 but then like ticketmaster and other resellers bought all of them from her and resold them for like 1k
