Common Emitter/Source Amplifier: great if you want to use it for LNA (you can achieve quite low NF values and moderate gain up to 9-10dB which is enough to suppress NF contribution of following stages), but has stability issue and needs to be handled extremely carefully. Due to Cbc/Cgd, input-output isolation is low and matching of one effects the other and matching/stabilization parts are true pain.
@@m.dasvirgenss yes it would. In fact, in Cascode amplifier, you will likely see that matching of input and output can be handled seperately easily. You can also achieve gain values up to 16-17dB at 30GHz with Cascode topology. However, its NF is high compared to Common Emitter amplifier. Hence, if NF is priority in your design, Common Emitter amplifier would be a better choice, if NF is worth sacrificing and you want high gain and ease of design, Cascode is definitely worth considering. One other problem Common Emitter presents is linearity issue. You can get quite high IP1dB values but with classical design approaches, its IIP3 is bound to be low, it is prone to operate non-linearly. However, that can also be fixed with some techniques too. All of the topologies have their advantages and drawbacks to be honest. Hope I have helped :)
I have some problems!!! How rf power amplifier works I have a walkie talkie that have a rf power amplifier module inside and powered by 7.5v and have 5watts of power into the antenna How this is happening? We know our antenna have a impedance of 50 ohm so if: I = v÷r P= v × I I= 7.5v ÷ 50ohm=150mA P=7.5v×150mA=1.12 watts So why ican see 5watts in my power meter
For amplifiers, David Pozar's Microwave Engineering is a good introduction, and Guillermo Gonzalez's Microwave Transistor Amplifiers is a bit more in depth
You have to design the microstrip inductor and gap or chip capacitor due to high frequency. Depending upon upper cutoff frequency you can find inductor and capacitor values..and then you can use direct formula from DM pozar book to calculate the microstrip design parameters, Such as length,. Width and thickness for inductor and capacitor.
Sir, I want to design class F power amplifier in any simulating software as my project. What software should I use and how to proceed? Can you please help me?
DC values frequency is zero...impedance offered by inductor is zero and impedance offered by capacitor is infinity....based on this we can find it..Zl= jwl, Zc= -j/wc
This is excellent, the first time I have seen this explained simply and well. Thank you. 👍

A cascode topology would improve the input - output isolation?

Like you said, microeletronics specially in RF is about tradeoffs. Thanks for the answer.
Good explanation
Thank you, this is very difficult to understand
जब capacitor ब्लॉक karegat dc को और inductor ac को तो base पर जायेगा क्या घंटा 😡😡😡??

Good dc supply also general as signal?
I didn't get the question..may u elaborate more so that i can try to give my comments
sir, it is requested to please make a video on the power amplifier for 2 stage amplifier or cascading amplifier Design
For the matching what we have to use?
Inductor and capacitor ..values we can find from Smith chart.
For high frequency it should be gap or chip capacitor and microstrip inductors.
@@RadioFrequencyClassesRFC sir can you please make a video on matching
I can try ..which type of matching....input or output matching for amplifier or something else??
@@RadioFrequencyClassesRFC ya input output matching for amplifiers

Just check this ..of possible like this I can make in much better way.
Hello, could you recommend me some literature about rf amplifiers? Or antennas ?
For amplifiers, David Pozar's Microwave Engineering is a good introduction, and Guillermo Gonzalez's Microwave Transistor Amplifiers is a bit more in depth
Hi friend does this video have a practical purpose?😀
U can do only DC biasing ..and matching.
For more details u can prefer Gonzales book.
Sir what is gain how to improve in RF?
How to find the values of these cap and inductors!?

Can you recommend a textbook for RF?
What topic actually u r looking for..I can suggest accordingly..
Amplifiers, antenna or passive components..??

Can u pls make video for rf power amplifier
Right now I m quite busy ...soon I will try to upload sir.
thank you

ADS ( advanced design simulator). Software is good for active device design as amplifier and oscillator..
How we decide for DC values

You haven't shown DC biasing.
