As a truck driver I can tell you the lunch box cooker works great if you have a longer drive to do I’ve made everything you can imagine from pre packaged pork tenderloin to meatloaf even some baking French bread pizza and it’s quite durable using it two to three times a week it should last about 6 months to a year to keep it clean aluminum foil works well . Love your channel you guys crack me up
These test/reviews are so entertaining. Much better than others that take 4 minutes to introduce themselves and the product before testing starts. Your sarcasm is the best, I smile through the whole video.
I'm not saying anything that hasn't been said here before, but I watch these for the comedy genius. When you started pouring La Croix on the french fry holder thing, I had major How To Basic vibes, lol.
I might actually look into that cup cooler. I always need a drink with me, I have a heath condition that makes me thirsty all the time. In the summer, even with the AC blasting, my iced coffee can literally get so warm it starts to turn in the hour -2 hours i drudge to pick up my spouse from work which, yes, I do 5 days a week. While it may not chill drinks, it might keep mine cool so that it remains drinkable and not start to go bad.
The road pro stove is supposed to be used with aluminum foil trays which are sold separately. It's mainly for truck drivers, you can find them at pretty much any pilot, loves, t/a truck stop.
who else is here on Feb. 28? you will be missed 😓😖😭😭😭 I turned to yall after grant passed and his channel went to trash. hopefully, the same doesn't happen to yall. prayers and deepest condolences
The tray was kinda sketchy the first time I drove with it. But here's a pro tip I wish I would of known before the accident. It really is meant to be used on straight roads like a freeway. As long as you don't need to change lanes (to often). Bonus tip, it makes it really easy to sign a reckless driving ticket.
"And we definitely recommend it to anyone who loves that cozy feeling you get when you dine on an airplane and land 5 years later" OMG, he watches "Manifest" (good show, btw 👌)
you forgot that Water is able to absorb a lot of energy before it actually changes temperature. since those drinks were mostly water, that is why it takes a long time to cool the drink. that cup is meant to keep already cold drink cold and already hot drinks hot. it is not a fridge replacement
I have the portable stove thing, it's awesome for people who work out of their car. For my job I often have drives of around an hour and spend probably 3 or so hours of the day in my vehicle. Being able to heat up leftovers or whatever is a nice alternative when you want to cut back on fast food or get tired of cold lunches like sandwiches.
I have that backseat mattress. I work overnight and have full duties at home so don't get a lot of sleep time. That thing is a lifesaver for catching a nap at lunch. I've even gotten sheets, real pillows and cozy blankets. It looks like a home. I love that thing. (It's also an extra security since I live with the constant threat of being homeless at any given moment :/ )
The road pro portable oven WORKS wonderful! I owned one and worked with fresh veggies and steaks too. This is coming from a former long haul trucker! I was a part of a few truck drivers who lost weight while traveling the country because of this glorious oven! 5 out of 5!
I'd like to point out, that with the smart cup, you were only reading the surface temperature of the drinks, and you would've gotten a colder/hotter temp if you stirred it around a bit
Well the problem with the cup cooling thing is that water has such a high specific temp, it takes so much energy to change the temp up or down forcibly. Like you said, it’s not suppose to cool your stuff. It’s supposed to keep it at a certain temp.
I drive big trucks for a living, and I have had great results using the "lunchbox oven" to heat up cams of vegetables and soups. I don't necessarily set a timer. I just open the top on a can or two and set the can(s) inside then close the lid. By the time I finish my post trip inspection for the day (15 to 30 minutes depending on what I find) the food is plenty hot.
1. The roadmaster food warmer is to be used w aluminum loaf pans so there is no scrubbing or cleaning. My husband was a trucker and loved his because I could send homemade food w him. 2. People car camp and use those inflatable car mads for sleep. There also are homeless people who live out of their cars. Better than a cardboard box !
I know some people who got something similar to that air bed, after being stuck on the high way for 36 hrs when that ice storm hit Atlanta a couple years ago.
First I thought the video was meant seriously, then I heard your ironic positive opinion about the French fries holder and knew that one should not take the video too seriously :D
The test with the hot liquid after 10 minutes would have been more scientifically authentic if they had another cup of coffee sitting in the regular cup holder. Then you could see how much warmer (or not) the device maintained the temperature vs. not using the device.
@5:40, when you were heating up the coffee, you do realize you were attempting to use a thermally isolated drinking cup, right? This is specifically designed to *NOT* allow temperature to transfer through the outside walls of the cup. So, kinda pointless.
Not gonna lie, I’m kinda tempted to get that backseat inflatable mattress. I fall asleep way too easily when driving at night and have been tempted just to sleep at a rest stop
4:05 I am completely disappointed that they didn't immediately heat some carbonated beverage. Not only because it would be funny, but it would be an important lesson to teach others "why".
When I drove 18wheelers over the road... I bought the road pro stove at a truck stop. Was a darn good investment. I always started what I wanted to eat around lunch time and dinner was ready in about 4-5 hours.
I purchased a Road Pro at a truck stop and you can buy aluminum pans separately or just use regular aluminum sheet to line it so you don't have a mess to clean. It works great but you got to keep it closed and give it time.
Absolutely love watching these products testing as it give you an example if you wanna buy them or not. Instead of paying for it and then you realise It didn’t work
I feel like for the smart cup, you miss used it. I feel like the cup is ment to keep drinks at or near there original temp, not get drinks to a desired temp
@@yerk43 it's progressively gotten sadder and sadder. I think it started as genuine and then he started doing it more ironically and now he has gotten lost in the sauce and sticking to the only things that distract him from his reality and depression.
Fun fact about laser thermometers: They only check the surface temp. If you've ever under-microwaved a tv dinner, you'd know that surface temperature is a poor way to check if a heater/cooler works.
More fun facts: That's not a "laser thermometer", but a pyrometer and you can only get a correct reading when the surface is opaque and not reflective and you have to dial-in the correct emisivity(this cheap one probably doesn't even allow that) or use a sticker with known emissivity. Seeing the dumbass pointing it straight into the lemonade was more entertaining, than watching the reviewed junk.
I've had that electric stove for many years (truck driver). It works beautifully. I can grab a bunch of burgers, biscuits, etc. The. Keep them in an electric cooler. I toss something inside, start driving. And after a little while, its nice and warm. Good for those who dont have a microwave or inverter in their truck. They have these electric coolers that work the same way as that cup holder. Uses a peltier cooler that can be hot or cold. I have 2, one on the top bunk pass side, as a fridge, and one on the top drivers side with the A/C vent pointed at it, which made it a freezer. Those peltiers make about a 40 degree difference then the outside temp IIRC. Which is why pointing an A/C vent at the peltier got the inside freezing
LoL i love you guys with your unique jokes and sound like tv voices man. What are you gonna do to that chopped carrot in a car? I laughing hard to watch this
I could see the inflatable mattress working in an SUV. Just don't inflate the legs and put the back seats all the way down so you can stretch it out into the back hatch.
