Honorable Mentions:
Queen Vanessa's Manor (A Hat in Time)
Yahar'gul, Unseen Village(Bloodborne)
Irithyll Dungeon(Dark Souls 3)
Lavender Town(Pokemon RBY)
Bottom of the Well(The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time)
Hazy Lane(Yo-Kai Watch 3)
The giant fetus monster in Re8 is why I don't play RE Village again. The room is dark, and you have to find fuses while playing hide and seek from this horrible creature. Imagine doing this level with 3d headphones and surrounding speakers from a soundbar or a home theater
Imagine doing all that in VR 😂
Don't playing again?
It's not that scary compared to the mannequin in the dlc.
Exactly the same case for me, I just stopped playing the game once I got to that part 😨😰
I never played the game nor ever will, but I can understand how you feel.
The most disturbing one is that your videos never have time staps
Gotta agree 👍

RE fan 1: "Kill that Baby!"
RE fan 2: "No, just run from that thing!"
RE fan 1: "But it's going to swallow us!"
RE fan 2: "Better to run cowardly than be something I'm not."
🙄😂
And I was one thinking I had be swallowed by the baby to progress... Welp 😂 🙀
Pathos-II from soma is really disturbing for me. Ruined facilities in a post-apocalyptic setting have always creeped me out, but Soma took it to a whole other level, especially when you get further into the game.
I found the Collector Ship in Mass Effect 2 was pretty disturbing.
The Computer Room where you need that fuse and encounter one of those two headed creatures in Callisto Protocol. The Evil Within where that long haired demon keeps stalking you before the boss fight.
No love for Shadowman's Asylum Playrooms?
The Broodmother’s room in Dragon Age Origins. Hearing how the Broodmothers were made in a poem about the SA of the female captives by Darkspawn was horribly disturbing.
The most disturbing experience to me was in any game was from Silent Hill 1. I remember when I missed a map and the Otherworld transition happened outside in the town. I was lost and there were so many new enemies everywhere. One of those ape like monsters (The Rompers) never stopped chasing.
I have something to say. If you’re going to make a list of the 20 most disturbing locations from video games, don’t add entires from horror games, because most of these entries ARE from horror games. Like in horror games, we know these places are going to be disturbing. In non-horror games, we aren’t expecting these places to be disturbing.
I wholeheartedly disagree with you, I wouldn't even mind if the entire list was from horror games, because if you excluded them then you might miss out on some of the most disturbing locations ever. It's like making a list of the best athletes ever, but then excluding people who have competed in the Olympics because you know they're going to be good athletes. That makes no sense, see?
@@BiggusBenjamin What I’m saying is that horror games can have disturbing locations, but they can be disturbing if they’re going to pull something different. Like the Hospital from Little Nightmares 2 is disturbing sure, but the whole Little Nightmares world is disturbing, like the Signal Tower, which is a living entity. That is disturbing how you are literally in the belly of the beast. Non-horror games can have some pretty disturbing locations, like the Old Chateau in the Gen 4 Sinnoh games. I wasn’t expecting that place to be haunted when I went through it in Platinum. I basically had my guard down as I was playing this kid friendly game about catching monsters, and then I entered this optional house and saw a ghost. And even in later generations like the ghost house in Unova, the ghost house in Kalos, or the abandoned mall in Alola, I’m still unnerved. Like in non-horror games, you have your guard down while in horror games, you are expecting the scares so the game has to do better to make a location disturbing.
@@krvgames9258 Yeah but objectively the specific locations in horror games are almost all of the most disturbing locations ever. Like in the video the entries of the End and the entire setting of Portal kinda were the weakest entries by far, they aren't at all disturbing, and nowhere near on the level of, for example, re8's house, which was very disturbing and unnerving, the point of the video
@@BiggusBenjamin Ancient City is far more disturbing than The End because of the Warden.
@@krvgames9258 Sure, but neither are as disturbing as actual horror games, you're lucky that any non-horror games were included
Shadow Temple? Over the Bottom of the Well? wow
@@DR_L3G0 At least with the Shadow Temple, we’re expecting the place to be disturbing. I mean, how disturbing can you get by being located near a graveyard. Bottom of the Well meanwhile, is so disturbing because it has some of the creepiest enemies in Ocarina of Time in it. And you have to fight Dead Hand to get the Lens of Truth, which as people have shown, doesn’t need to be obtained to beat the game, though you are going to need it to beat the game.
I actually agree. I was honestly more freaked out with the Shadow Temple than the Bottom of the Well.
The Depths from Tears of the Kingdom. Just dark, the same size as the main map, and full of big bads.
@@ThePhantomKing By big bads, I assume you mean the Gloom covered enemies. Those are deadly, because they can basically inflict Gloom which whittle down Link’s health and also make it impossible to heal unless he eats some food that can cure Gloom or got to a lightroot. We can be thankful that you don’t have to fight Gloom Gleeoks down there.
The Mirror Room in Silent Hill 3 will always be the scariest.
That old Japanese mansion in Fatal Frame.
Surprised that the Shalebridge Cradle from Thief Deadly Shadows isn’t here.
You beat me to it!
@@stoptheviolins13 I know! It’s only one of the scariest and most influential levels in all of gaming, so why isn’t it on here?
You’re right! It’s conspicuous by its absence. Can’t understand why it’s not here. It’s a masterpiece of terror.
@@cmdrhomborger6214 I guess the Thief series isn’t well known by them. Even them ranking it as the best stealth series seemed more like a formality.
Shame, because it’s only one of the greatest game series ever. Even Deadly Shadows, while not being as good as the first two, is a dang fine game nonetheless. After all, it is where the Shalebridge Cradle is found.
Shame that WatchMojo didn’t include it.
@@ldragon2515 it is one of the greatest. I don’t think I ‘ve ever been more immersed in a video game than when I was playing the Thief series.
I stopped playing the whole game of RE8 once I got to house Beneviento, while it may have blended the elements of 4 and 7 which I love, that particular level killed it for me. 😰😨
Honorable Mentions:
Haiti (Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus)
Prague (Sly 2: Band of Thieves)
The hotel basement (The Last of Us)
Raccoon City & Silent Hill...Wouldn't wanna visit either of these places. 🙅🏿♂️
Have to add the house from madison, one of the best horror games and posession stories ever.
The windmill village in Elden Ring was truly disturbing 😨😰
Always happy to see Visage get the love it deserves!
The House P.T. and The Rat King's Lair The Last of Us Part 2 and The End Minecraft and St. Sybil Highschool Outlast 2 and Titan Elementary School Dead Space 2 and Deepnest Hollow Knight and Shopping Mall Condemned Criminal Origins and Vault 11 Fallout New Vegas and Sevastopol Station Alien Isolation and House Beneviento Resident Evil Village and The Town Itself Silent Hill Series unnerves me the most on the PS3 or on the PS4 or on the switch

Hell yeah! (For the SCP shout out!)
I'M GETTING SERIOUSLY TIRED OF HATING KONAMI FOR CANCELLING PT! ONE OF THE WORST MISTAKES THAT KONAMI HAS DONE! NOT WITHOUT A PROPER REDEMPTION ARC LIKE CAPCOM DID DURING 2018 & 2019!
The house in MADiSON
How about Hell in Hellblade 1. That was crazy
Fort frolic from BioShock.
You should just put the city of Rapture because Fort Frolic is no different than the rest of the city.
No location scarier than fallout 3's Gary's vault... Change my mind ☕😮💨
No Funger? Sad... The orphanage from F&H 2 beats a lot of these...
Silent Hill really not the Epic Game, But i really respect Silent Hill town is the most Horror locations in entire Video Games.
Shalebridge Cradle from Thief: Deadly Shadows
A place that I think is a bit disturb is the pirates caves of Uncharted 4 well is a mine field full of bones and small tunnel
What, no honorable mention to lavender town or the pokemon tower?
Ok, how many times can they keep rehashing P T for every list like this? You can’t keep beating the same thing into the ground and expect it to stay interesting. Please be more creative with some of your lists.
Agreed it was a demo not a game it was good we get it but enough already
Condemned was so good
By far for me, the playhouse in poppy playtime chapter 3, the first game that had me up in the middle of the night for a week, no just no
shopping mall = bart's dept store iykyk
Why is the dollhouse from Resident Evil 8 on this list, but not the Spencer mansion from the first Resident Evil more about iconic Resident Evil location than the dollhouse from Resident Evil 8 has Resident Evil franchise mordenized so much much most people nowadays don't know what the Spencer Mansion is in Resident Evil
Castle Brennenburg
Novosibirsk in Metro Exodus?
Half Life 2 - Ravenholm
Spencer Mansion??
Stop bringing up PT! It was a demo for chrissakes!
Fastidio Manor in Hogwarts Legacy
Nice! ♫♪♫♪
Some Metro locations should be here instead of at least half of these in the video, but it's not American AAA so it's not even considered a game by Americans lol
Id say Novosibirsk is Metro Exodus' top contender
@@ravenlinosoriano2867 Yeah, also Regina chapter from Last Light or library from 2033
*The last of us part 2 is wasted potential 👎*
