About that pile of ferillizer Ellis dumped last time: you can pick it up, but you need a special attachment to the forklift tractor. Same as if you've wanted to pick up pile of sand IRL. Same goes to some crops laying on ground etc.

On the planter their is a disc( side of planter) that if folded out on the side that’s not planted it will make a line in the field so when you turn around for the next pass you line up the tractor(middle) with the line to help with straight passes
Pound is roughly 0,45 kg. So if you don't need to be precise - just half everything. At least that's what I do when I play Fallout games and have to deal with pounds.
Well for me I’m going into a trade for plumbing and something I’ve noticed about it is I’m going to have ha higher degree from it then my sister who went to uni for hotel management and on the same level as my cousin who as a bachelors in accounting(The red seal). Along with the fact that in New Zealand I would be able to earn as much as a doctor if not more then some.

Just following in game pointers, if it doesn’t tell you something needs done don’t spend cash on it, not including fertilizer as it won’t tell you about that, and if you go with manure as fertilizer get some cows(for your field around 50 would do it, gonna need a lot of manure for that size of field), and to feed them plant some wheat or barley to get some straw that can then be fed to them, not the best but early game it’s all you can get access to.(expensive to get the best for cattle) and lastly, if you haven’t figured it out by the end of the video, sheep produce wool on pallets, find wool in the production tab and sell it(later you can get a spinnery to make it into fabrics and fabrics can be sold once you by a tailor shop. People going to university and not needing to is a problem that can't be solved by restricting access to education. What will happen then is that degrees will become even more coveted and still be placed on a pedestal by employers. I'd also like to point out that people who go into trades make a very good living and often earn more (at least in my area, where being a plumber starts you out at like 40k a year rising to over 100k once you've gotten your license.) Especially if you're unionized in a state that doesn't suck, you are practically guaranteed work. The problem is everyone undervalues the trades and treats the workforce like shit. They get taken advantage of by practically everybody, even by people in their own companies. There's this huge cultural divide between people who work in the office and people who work in the field and that leads to all kinds of nonsense like unrealistic deadlines, safety violations, toxic work environment, and treating people as replaceable when they are, in fact, very specialized and highly skilled.

You have to fertilize twice, but there must always be a work step in between. So for example fertilizing, cultivating, fertilizing
