One gripe I have is megs knowing Optimus’s name, bc in tf animated he just called him “autobot” (he didn’t know his name or any of the bots on prime’s team.)

Im trying to figure out why the Autobots care about Sam and are surprised by his death? They do not know who he is nor his connection to the Autobots.
