Portal transfers need to be bound to 2-year commitments at a school (unless they declare for NFL). Having guys entering the portal in back-to-back seasons is ridiculous.
If 6-5 Michigan can beat ohio in columbus, then there's no excuse for Tennessee to not walk away from that cesspool of a town without a W. I'll be the Vols biggest fan when they play ohio.
We aren't just going to beat them though. We are coming up there to beat them up, run up the score and make a national statement before we plant our flag up at Neyland North and before our big match up with Oregon follow by Texas. Vols!!!!
Yea but you guys have owned OSU under Day, so I'm not sure if I'd read too terribly much into that L. I just feel like OSU plays Michigan totally different than they would any other team in the country, and I'm not sure if it translates to other games. But, I do understand your sentiment, and appreciate the fandom! GB🍊
@stetsonpowers5010 no no they do not... it's brought up as much as any shit loss this season like vandy over the gumpz, Michigan over osu, NIU over ND etc etc etc
I'm not sure that means anything this year. The SEC hoarded talent in the 90s and 00s, but it's not like that anymore. NIL has completely changed the landscape in terms of talent distribution, and you're going to start seeing a lot more parity between teams. Hopefully I'm way wrong and Vols beat OSU like a redheaded stepchild, but I just don't see the past records hold.
Oklahoma is a mere 6-6 team. Tennessee is 0-21 on the road against AP Top Ten teams since 2007. Yikes! THAT'S what worries me most about this game, and that Ohio St has the most talented roster in the nation.
That’s why we were in a coaching carousel. Heupel has turned this team around. OSU used to dominate Michigan for decades. Now they’re 0-4 in the past four years. Recent history means more. I think we have some very evenly matched teams here, but even if UT loses, it isn’t because of the past, it’ll be because of the present. This is the first season where all the players were recruited by Heupel and I gotta say the future looks good on Rocky Top.
Yet , the state university of Ohio hasn't won a bowl game when since losing to Michigan. Day looked light a deer in headlights after Michigan, didn't even know the flag was being planted in his a$$.
On paper sure osu has bigger budget and more"talent " but it's so often underutilized under Day. Heupel has won with less since getting to UT, and now has way less talent gap. Cold favors the running team, both defenses are awesome. Close game but Vols have an absolute shot at this upset. Vols pull it off with better special teams especially kickers. Homer. 😆 Still what I think can happen if they don't shoot themselves in the foot...

Go Vols! I believe!

TN lost to 6-6 Arkansas a bad team

@@thomasorzack5795that’s a 6-6 SEC team not a Big10 team. They would be 10-2 in the Big10 gtfoh!! 😂😂
Vols has to stop the slant across the middle. Our linebacker need to lay the wood
Everybody seems to forget that tennessee has held Everybody team under 20 but Georgia
They also seem to forget they lost to Arkansas

Look at OSU record against the SEC... they cant beat a decent SEC team... UT by 10

Elite QBs and WRs beat OSU
Not usually an elite RB
Sec has beat ohio 14 times, and ohio has beat sec 4 times, just some facts
I think there is more energy behind Tennessee in this game
Close game Go Vols Go Blue !
They went to Norman and won too

WSU and OSU have P4 talent, but somehow are at a G5 level. Ask Miami, or wherever Mateer goes.
Osu coping.sad.
Tennessee is 0-21 on the road against AP Top 10 teams since 2007, most of them blowouts. Terrible road team.
We’re all gonna laugh when yall are the first one

Bro... UT is not going to get skunked lol. OSU very well may win, but there is no world where UT doesn't score any points.
Sorry no confidence in Rocky Flop. I have Ohio State moving on.
How would you have confidence in Ohio State lol
