Ted Lasso is possibly the most uplifting show ever, I love the fact that there’s no massive unforeseen nasty twists! I’m going to be devastated when it’s over!
I knows it’s ending and that’s fine. But when you make a show with characters that we now have all grown to know and love, make them feel like family, it’s devastating that it’s going to end! One of the best shows I’ve ever watched!

Ted Lasso literally changed my life and made me look at my mental health completely differently because of Ted Lasso. I truly believe I am now capable of taking care of my mental health on my own.
The whole point of the show is that you are not on your own or need to do things by yourself. “No one in this room is alone”. Maybe you need to rewatch

I'm not sure it would be as good. Part of the charm of Ted Lasso was watching how Ted's influence changed everyone. If it was just about the team, I'm not sure the overall story would be great. It would feel more like 'The Office".
When I had a bad day, watching an episode of Ted Lasso really lifted me up and brought peace to my mind. Yeah, I never watched it originally, then I saw advertising for season 3 and thought I’d give it a go. I started watching it when I was in hospital for 5 weeks. I binge watched season 1 and am now on season 2. It’s brilliant!
I had no idea what this show was about but recently got a new Roku player and it came with a 3 month Apple TV "trial". So watched the first episode and was immediately hooked. My jaw dropped at how not-in-your-face but tremendously witty the writing was! And how fascinating the characters were! It is hard to get this many characters and this many personalities jiving so well together! Talk about clever yet natural and subtle writing and wonderful acting! To this day, Coach Beard's comment to a confused Ted "Word became a sound?" remains one of my all time favorite TV quotes. (As a kid around 6 or 7 years old I realized repeating the same word over and over indeed removed any meaning from the word and it just became a sound and I used to do it often. I found the word "book" was the quickest way to achieve "semantic satiation".) Ted Lasso is writing at its finest. Am I sad it is ending with S3? Yes. Am I glad it is ending where it should. Even more so! I refrained from watching the penultimate episode so I can watch the final two in a mini binge! I shall then restart from the pilot!
Well I watched the last two eps. Fully enjoyed them but was a titch disappointed at the final ending. I guess i wanted to see more but I realize the way it was left my imagination is welcome to enter and create the scenario i would like. But even as I write this, the more I think about it the more I like it.
I met Jason 11 years ago filming an indie film here in Concord, Mass. Genuinely a wonderful human. I was in the Air Force at the time (retired since) and he came up to me and said "I'm Jason, thank you for what you do." We chatted for a min...I got to chat with Ted freaking Lasso!!! If I had to give up all of my favorite iconic shows (Seinfeld, Friends, Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, The Office) for Ted Lasso I would. This show is so special.
Best comedy show since Father Ted, for me. Moving, funny, brilliantly acted and written -- a comedy drama that has real heart -- and that's a rare thing these days.

I recently went on a vacation with my family and in the car rides I watched all three seasons of ted lasso in 4 days and my lord so I love this show to its core. I haven’t watched a series in quite honestly 2 years but this show had gotten me hooked from the start
I love a show that knows where it should have a full stop. Not saying I would be happy about it but I think it’s the best decision they can make. Like the artwork sometimes it’s better to stop painting it than overdoing it. Reminds me of Fleabag, I think it ended in the best way. They have a story to tell and they told it. Have one for the show that acts as a epilogue to the show, showing us where everyone went in, say, five years. I think that would put a nice bow on the show without having to go into "jump the shark" territory.
We can all debate shows from the past that should or should not have ended when they did. However, this show is the exception. We all want more, more of the excellent writing, more of the excellent acting and more of the incredible emotions it elicits from all of us. Jason, Ted Lasso's ride is not over...it's just too good to let go.

The last two episodes were very emotional. More so because the end was coming I suppose. A truly great series with positive messages about relationships, strength and forgiveness.
I understand the finale it's the end of the series, and I watched almost without wanting to watch it -because if I didn't see it, it hasn't end- and I cried and laughed and was very sad it's over. But LOVED IT SO MUCH! I understand it's everybody ending where they are supposed to be, but I wouldn't mind if it continued from there on. It was fun, entertaining, uplifting. The best show ever! Best show, perfect cast, and season 3 was a beautifully perfect ending. As much as it saddens me that it ended, I think it ended exactly where and how it should and it should be something that we all wish for more of but can never have. Some things are, in fact, perfect.
I hope it really is what a lot have been speculating. After season 3 Ted returns to Kansas hence why is no longer Ted Lasso, but I hope they continue telling the stories within the club, even if it's under a different name.
Completely agree! And it would be a new chapter in the TL book. Just continue with the stories. The writers are brilliant and they would weave more magic in a new show. And like any brilliant teacher, perhaps Ted's job is done and now it's time to see the new story.
The very best TV I’ve ever seen. No killing, no crime, touching stories, great humour, brilliant acting but more than anything else, great humanity. How about Ted and Beard coach baseball/Rugby/cricket/women’s football and take Roy with them?
I loved this.perfect seasons. Perfect end. Would I love more. Yes. Definitely. Will there be? Would it recapture the magic? Not sure. Was perfect show. And I don’t know how they could make season 4. He left it in great hands. Tied up every loose end. Timeless show.

I really wish there would be more than the two episodes left. I live in hope, but I don't expect more. My disappointment comes from Colin's story line being left until the final season, but that's only because it resonates so much with me.
A great show makes you invest your time as fans into that show and makes you feel as if you're a part of that show and you know each person there and that's what made this show great and even more, there was a positive message in each show that made it so much fun to watch and hell, there were even moments where Rupert had some good qualities. lol. I found myself cheering for Richmond with each big goal they scored as if this was a real team moving up and down the table...hopefully, the show will go on but if not, it will live on like all of the classic shows...I will binge watch all three seasons this summer but I am absorbing the ending and hoping that this isn't the end, to me it feels like having a guest stay in your home and when they leave suddenly everything feels empty but you were still glad they stayed.
As much as I will hate to see it go, from experience... it's better to go out on a high. My performance group disbanded while we were at the top of our game. My memories are still pristine and beautiful without muck weighing them down.

The last episode showed so much to lead to the ending. Finally heard Beards back story, Jamie, Roy and Keely finding peace with each other, Jamie and his dad looking like they will reconcile, Nate back with the team and will no doubt take over when Ted goes back to Kansas. The question though...will Rebecca follow Ted back to Kansas??? And will Ted coach his son's AYSO soccer team? I need to see that happen.
I like the English Office reference. 2 x 6 episodes and done. Same as Fawlty Towers. I believe John Cleese has said that he didn’t want any additional potentially subpar episodes to tarnish the existing 12. Same goes for TL I guess
While the show is amazing and it may make us all feel over the next 2 episodes that we have completed the journey, I for one want More of Rebeca and the rest of those we love PLEASE ❤❤❤❤❤❤

It is. I discovered it during the bleak world of COVID-19. It was uplifting and light in a world of disease, death and political discord.

This has been an extraordinary show. Short, sweet, well done. None of the painful “shark jumping” stuff that comes from going too long.

Best show, perfect cast, and season 3 was a beautifully perfect ending. As much as it saddens me that it ended, I think it ended exactly where and how it should and it should be something that we all wish for more of but can never have. Some things are, in fact, perfect.
Probably will be rewatching it for years!

I hope it really is what a lot have been speculating. After season 3 Ted returns to Kansas hence why is no longer Ted Lasso, but I hope they continue telling the stories within the club, even if it's under a different name.
Completely agree! And it would be a new chapter in the TL book. Just continue with the stories. The writers are brilliant and they would weave more magic in a new show. And like any brilliant teacher, perhaps Ted's job is done and now it's time to see the new story.

The very best TV I’ve ever seen. No killing, no crime, touching stories, great humour, brilliant acting but more than anything else, great humanity. How about Ted and Beard coach baseball/Rugby/cricket/women’s football and take Roy with them?

I loved this.perfect seasons. Perfect end. Would I love more. Yes. Definitely. Will there be? Would it recapture the magic? Not sure. Was perfect show. And I don’t know how they could make season 4.

I prefer a show ending on time or with a proper story arc vs extending and the quality inevitably dips
Jason Sudakis is a real talent and Ted Lasso has shown that SNL was only the stepping stone to a great career. His bits with Kristen Wig are without equal. Thank you Jason!
I really wish there would be more than the two episodes left. I live in hope, but I don't expect more. My disappointment comes from Colin's story line being left until the final season, but that's only because it resonates so much with me.
A great show makes you invest your time as fans into that show and makes you feel as if you're a part of that show and you know each person there and that's what made this show great and even more, there was a positive message in each show that made it so much fun to watch and hell, there were even moments where Rupert had some good qualities. lol. I found myself cheering for Richmond with each big goal they scored as if this was a real team moving up and down the table...hopefully, the show will go on but if not, it will live on like all of the classic shows...I will binge watch all three seasons this summer but I am absorbing the ending and hoping that this isn't the end, to me it feels like having a guest stay in your home and when they leave suddenly everything feels empty but you were still glad they stayed.
A great show and absolute joy to watch.
As much as I will hate to see it go, from experience... it's better to go out on a high. My performance group disbanded while we were at the top of our game. My memories are still pristine and beautiful without muck weighing them down.

The last episode showed so much to lead to the ending. Finally heard Beards back story, Jamie, Roy and Keely finding peace with each other, Jamie and his dad looking like they will reconcile, Nate back with the team and will no doubt take over when Ted goes back to Kansas. The question though...will Rebecca follow Ted back to Kansas??? And will Ted coach his son's AYSO soccer team? I need to see that happen.

I like the English Office reference. 2 x 6 episodes and done. Same as Fawlty Towers. I believe John Cleese has said that he didn’t want any additional potentially subpar episodes to tarnish the existing 12. Same goes for TL I guess
