This movie came out when I was 10 years old. My dad took me to the Mchenry Illinois Drive-In theater for a late birthday present because it didn't release until the end of the month. It was one of the best memories from my childhood that after 30 years I still remember to this day. I eventually got the VHS Cassettes and to this very day I have the entire trilogy still on the same VHS tapes that were purchased in the 90's and still in the original boxes. And yes they still play! At some point I owned the original soundtrack from the 1990 movie but over the course of 30 years, I somehow misplaced it and lost it. To this very day I can cite the entire movie and the soundtrack (thanks to youtube) verbatum. I wish I still had it, though. Just listening to this song alone has brought back so many great memories from my childhood, growing up, playing outside and just being a kid before the internet and social media took over. I just want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being a part of my life and being a positive influence. I may be 40 now but when I am 80, I'm certain that no matter what trials and tribulations I might face, I can look back and know that I can still rely on my TURTLE POWER!

The cadence and energy along with the lyrics and chorus was my first real introduction to Rap and it was inspirational and inspiring! Definitely steered me and I'm sure many others towards my passion for music today.. I'd legit rate this higher up against 90% of today's rappers even if it came out today lol!
