Hang in there, Corey. You'll get there some day. Keep the great hand analyses coming. They've been very helpful, and the humor sprinkled in also adds to the fun!
@Corey Eyring If you ever make it down to Maryland Live! poker room in Arundel Mills, MD be sure to look me up. I'll be the one wearing the black hoody 🤣
Can’t lie I felt this one mate. Havin the same swing as we speak, won and last biggest pots of my life. That said it’s 7am and I’m 18 beers deep so will report back
I really enjoy the VO's cutting over each other. I can even see it in the FCPX timeline. 🤣 I doubt many of your viewers think about this stuff, but I can see you record the second VO, then squidge it back over the end of the first one, chop the piece of the first one that overlays, and voila, you interrupt yourself! Great stuff.
I think the J8d fold was a good one tbh! Credit to the opponent for that gutsy huge allin bluff. I think the KJo call was a bit dicey tbh! Tough hands. Great vlogging! Hilarious mastery of accents too! More British ones like mine, please!
I’ve watched a lot of poker vlogs, I mean a LOT. Like if I quit watching them I’ll get unemployment! With that being said, I really hope you increase the amount that you make. You have a winner man! Thanks for the content! ♠️
Loved this one. Damned if you do, damned if you don't bradda. You hit the nail on the head tho, as long as you try your best you can hang your head high. You're a great player especially for your age. Instincts are very solid and you explain your thought process in a really authentic way. Stoked for you on all the success of this channel, very well deserved
I have no problem with the fold with the flush but if you think this guy is this much action then you clearly need to call the 1st hand as well.... You know this...✌️ Plus I don't care how much action he is KJ off is a fold in the 2nd hand because you're flipping at best..Otherwise known as gambling...The 2nd hand belongs in a Fish 🐟 tank.. Not at a poker table..
Man I enjoy every vlog you put out. I definitely know that dreaded feeling of flopping the best hands and then getting turned or rivered. I play 1 3 N.l. Here in Houston Texas just a Rec. player. I’m a crane and Rigging supervisor but I study the game as much as I can trying to get better. Keep the vlogs coming I always look forward to watching you play. Good running to you in all your upcoming sessions!
That’s right! Your potentially onto something big if you can improve your poker play. You have the personality for this content creation. It’s all about your threshold on losing money that needs to get better….It’s only money and start putting your opponents under pressure more so you don’t need to make as many decisions……Flip the script
Finally got to play this weekend, and I think I'm scarred. How I only managed to lose $60 is beyond me. Never saw AA or KK, went 0 for 8 with AK (despite 5 flops of Q 10 X), losing 4 times with tens....I saw a guy call down a 3 barrel bluff with Q9 offsuit on a board of 10 6 4 8 2 (no flush). My mind is boggled.
Great video, definitely can relate to how you feel about beats and not being able to pull the trigger, I can relate being a student of the game for 20 hrs now. Well done pal
Pretty good spot to check raise on flush turns when the Ad and another broadway diamond are on the board. You will see the computer almost always check raises any naked broadway diamond here bc of how few flushes IP has remaining due to card removal. Not saying 86 no diamond is a good check raise though but overall hard for IP to have a flush.
Been watching poker vlogs for a while, One advice for you, Everything looks great with your vlog and the editing, only thing is your narration is slow during the hand. A little speed will make ur video perfect.
With the 5s you should bet the A turn then massivly overbet river to out one pair Ax ina tough spot. Live exploit here where they are severely overfolding, or checkraise then overbet jam river if deep enough
@@corey_eyring give tournaments a go! Most tournament players are worse than cash game players when playing more than 70bb deep and if you play in say 100$ tourneys, you can make no end of mistakes and still be out less than one cash game session. Also if you hit a small run of luck in a tourney, and don't make any horrendous mistakes, you can win!
I’ll never play hands that’s 4 apart from each other again, unless it’s A ten with the ace. Just recently, i had 10 of hearts and A 6 of hearts. I forgot exactly what order the community cards were in, but I was chasing an 8 and it came on the river giving me A straight 6-10. I push all in and my opponent snap called with 10, jack off suit. I said to myself I’ll never play cards like that again. It’s so easy to get sucked into A situation like I just had. Weird because we both was looking for that same 8.
Dude. I suggest a super Thai massage after a big loss. Steam room. Long hot tub. And you can figure out the rest. Two very strong gin n tonics before 12 hours of sleep.
