greetings, this project is a very standard metal detector. This will allow you to find metal up to 5 to10 cm max. There is one thing that needs to be improved. Your soldering is poorly made. Keep in mind that you have several cold solders in your project. This may well be a problem when you will try it outside.

Hi. Many thanks for your organized work . I have a question please : in the video the coil parameters are ( the coil diameter =20 cm=200 mm, and the wire caliber diameter of 0.5 mm using 20 turns) .This is estimated to provide coil inductance of approximately between 180-200 microhenry and this (maybe) explains the relatively low distance sensitivity of the coil to metals - it appears from the video to be within a distance between 20-17 centimeter . The question, can we raise the inductance to 400 microhenries by using a 40 centimeter dimeter coil with 24 turns of 0.5 mm wire using the same circuit configuration? Thanks above all for your help.
