When a witness leaves the man made organization, they are doing just that! Leaving a man made organization. They are not leaving God or Jesus, it's because of their true love for God and Jesus that their eyes were open to false religion.
with thousands of options it's a crap shoot on what's man made or not . if there is a god he might want to give us a hint . for now it's based on where, when and to who u were born to.
@@kennyreid6708 God gives us more than hints. Sorry, this is super long, but I just want to be of help. When you look at your reflection in the mirror what do you see?... randomness or design? When you look at a beautiful painting do you think... nice random accident or do you ponder the idea of the artist creating the painting? When you look at a spectacular building do you assume that all the materials just fell into place by random accident or do you realize it had to have a designer? Now take a look outside at the trees, water, sky, animals, grass, snow, the warmth of the son... everything in nature playing it's role like instruments in a symphony. Is that all randomness or chaos brought to a state of order on accident or is it by design? Study the alignment of the Earth, moon, and sun... along with our solar system and you'll discover that if anything were just the slightest out of alignment, we'd burn in the suns heat or freeze to death... or have a catastrophic collision. None of it is random, it's all by design. A short study of the perfect code written in your DNA will show similar results... if one little thing would have been out of place, you might have been born with 6 legs and a head like a horse ...that is if you even survive. The odds against any of us being alive are so astronomical that it screams design. The very fact that you can exercise conscious thought and then type coherent sentences proves design. Here's an experiment... and I'll even give you an advantage. Take a pocket watch apart down to every last gear. Throw all the parts in a box. Now shake the box until you've managed to shake all the pieces back together into a working pocket watch. What are the odds of that happening?... now consider, I gave you the advantage of having all the parts already in their particular design. What would be the odds if you did it with raw materials extracted from the earth? The whole point is this, design demands that their be a designer. God is our designer and our creator. According to scriptures, you were created in God's image and that is no accident. The best part is, our creator wants a relationship with His creation and Jesus Christ is the door to that relationship. I understand the skepticism... religion can be a crap shoot. Man's ego and fallen nature cause some to abuse the Bible to formulate false doctrines, "religiosity", and control. The Bible is trustworthy... man and religion for the sake of self righteousness are not. God didn't give us religion, man did, because man wants to feel self important and create his own version of righteousness so he can then judge others. Man is stupid, God is not. Let's talk about the Bible and why it is trustworthy. Most important, the entirety of the Bible points to the Savior, Jesus Christ. But, that alone isn't helpful if you're unaware of what makes it a trustworthy book. The Bible tells the future of God's plan for all of mankind. God chose righteous men and anointed them to prophecy things 1000's of years before they would happen and they happened 100% of the time right on time. That's part of the amazing power of the "old testament" and "new testament" in the Bible. The "old testament" prophesied of things to come and many where fulfilled in those days and the "new testament" testifies to the fulfillment of many more prophecies coming true in the 1st century AD, when Jesus began His ministry. For example, there are well over 200 "old testament" prophecies that told of Jesus's birth, death, and resurrection from 100's to even 1000's of years prior to that historical fulfillment, with 100% accuracy, down to the most ridiculous of details including His name, place of birth, city, and that He would ride through the east gate on a donkey when he entered Jerusalem days before His crucifixion. I've seen the math for calculating the odds if only 8 of those came true and it's a number with 26 zero's after it. It's crazy. Another that was fulfilled less than 100 years ago was Israel becoming a country again for the first time since the 1st century AD... that was May 14,1948... in one day it was accomplished, just as the prophecy was told around 3000 years ago. There are no other so-called prophets, books, or religions that have ever done that. There are none. There are over 2000 prophecies in the Bible. There are still some yet to be fulfilled and we're only given hints of things to be watchful of to know the season which may mark there coming fulfillment. But some key things will trigger a timed event and if you're keen to the craziness of this world over the last 2 years, you can be sure something is on the horizon. As sure as the other prophecies have come to pass, so will those yet to be fulfilled. ... Again, the Bible is trustworthy and it points to Jesus. I hope this was helpful.
I was raise by jehovah witnesses I never got baptized my sister and cousin did and still are witnesses til this day . I question so much as I got older I left soon as I left high school 2008 never looked back....the religion manipulates the members thinking its the only religion that is perfect on earth but they can't get the date of Armageddon right....
He called him Father and thought his followers to address prayers to Father. He was a Jew and it was abomination to say God's name loud. When he was reading Isaiah in a synagogue he said - Adonai instead of Jehovah. If he did he would be driven out.
I have watched many testimonies from ex jw's however, none has captured me as Kirsteen Cambell's. I learned an Extremely Significant Revelation concerning the Blood of Jesus. Kirsteen said " If you refuse blood to save your life, you're rejecting Jesus precious sacrifice." That was such a powerful truth I never acknowledged. WOW, I thank her so much for that Truth. She also said, when she became aware the org is a cult, she called her son & daughter to apologize in hope she did not "damage" them, which tells me she never "shunned" her kids for leaving the cult. Kirsteen is one of the few who did not allow this Evil Cult to lose her Natural Affection, the Love a mother should Never lose for her children. Did you know jw org sued Kevin Mcfree of DUBTOWN, they harassed him, later the suit was dropped. I also watch Blue Envelope, there are many websites exploiting the cult, I believe the internet will be their downfall, although the many child abuse lawsuits are the most damaging. May 22, 1994, are children who were denied blood transfusions, there is no limit as to how cruel & morbid this demonic cult is.
Thank you Elaine & Kirsteen! So happy I found Elaine's channel, so many exJWs turn out atheist or agnostic. I'm so glad I never lost my love for Jesus. I relate to Kirsteen, born in JWs, father studied (to keep my mom happy lol) but never converted b/c he didn't feel he could live up to the standards. Our congregation had lovely people, too, loved God, welcomed all. I remember everything Kirsteen talked about from the early 70s & 80s. I disassociated myself after my mom passed away, went to college and sought out my own truth. Found out the prevalent practice of shunning and other abuse cover-up atrocities in my journey - have friends who endured such things in the JW org. Opened my eyes. I'm so glad the congregation I grew up in had strong, Godly women and men - they never shunned. My mom never did when my older sisters fell away & my mom's best friend (an elder's wife) didn't when 2 of her kids left. Biggest controversy was when an elder was called out for watching "Three's Company" after a Bible study. Yay for him, the next talk about TV & movies were "up to our conscious" 😁 Even though I basically had a good childhood growing up in it, I have a strong aversion to any organization that's controlled by men or tell you not to think for yourself or ask questions. God gave us a brain and wants us to use it! So much I didn't know about the GB until afterwards. Thank you both again! You are touching people and giving an option of hope in Jesus for those who leave the org.
There’s so many of us and yet we are isolated from each other. My husband and I left friends and family of 55 years…not just a “man made organization.” My husband died of cancer a year ago. No contact from grown children. No contact from anyone. Living in isolation in an impoverished rural community as we had moved “where the need is greater.” Can’t sell the homestead and had no retirement plans because “Armageddon is coming tomorrow.” “Alone” doesn’t adequately describe the situation.
Keep sharing your story. As a "born in" traditional Christian, hearing this perspective gives me a new appreciation for truths I've heard my whole life. "Jesus is God!" How wonderful! ❤️

A men! I also was born in & woke up 2 yrs ago at 53, my 3 young adult kids also left, thank God! My husband pimo, but not at all active. All my family are very pimi & are shunning us all, such a Christ like way to treat fellow believers! It truly has been a journey but so grateful for the rest of my life to live in freedom!😍
Beautifully story that you’ve told us Kirsten. I was part of the org from birth and knew nothing else until I was given some books to read which gave me such a light bulb moment. I could clearly see that God uses many channels to bring people to him. Further deep examination of the org convinced me to leave. All the best as you continue to grow spiritually xx
Thank you for sharing your story. It’s such an amazing story and how when we wake up the Lord starts showing us ways to him and putting the pieces together in a very personal way. When I was doubting I was no longer afraid to pray with my doubts and asked God to reveal who he is because I felt no love in this organization. It was then slowly the scales from my eyes had been removed that I could truly see Jesus and not thru the eyes of a man made cult. The Lord grew me into such a love for him on such a personal level. I finally felt love and was no longer afraid. I found I am worthy in his eyes. I remember with my child apologizing to her for bringing her up as a Jehovah witness and she looked at me and said it’s ok mom. You thought it was the right thing to do. We both found Jesus together and 2 years later we were baptized correctly together. I am so thankful you found the real truth and have developed a personal relationship with Jesus. Praise God!! He is so so good.

So emotional listening to her relate how she apologized to her children. It's so wonderful to loose that feeling of unworthyness and worthlessness that you feel, being raised in the organisation or indoctrinated as a child. To know you are good enough just as you are even with all your faults. You are worthy of love. One difference, though, is that I never really felt close to Jehovah but I always loved Jesus, even from a little girl.

I have a degree but it means NOTHING when I read the NWT, my brain oozes out of my ears. No wonder my mom tells me I need the JW pubs to "understand" what the Bible says. I absolutely enjoyed this interview! When she speaks of being afraid of seeking Jesus after leaving the JW's and even being afraid of looking at the Bible I relate to that so much! I'm still trying to fight that and have not really made any progress I don't pray and I don't read my Bible out of fear but I just wanted to say I'm so happy for her that she was able to overcome that and Elaine you are a wonderful friend to many people out here and we appreciate all the hard work that you do getting the word out that Jesus is the way the truth and the light.
Listening to this Lady , I was suddenly struck by a JW recently who said recently on the Cart every thing in our books is from the Bible , but then every thing Satan used on Jesus to turn him away from God was from the Scriptures!! Watchtower are doing the same thing to cover their Lies

When I heard Jeffrey Jackson in the Australia commission al the court hearing saying that it was pretentious to say that jw was the true religion, and thay didn't have Jehovah holly stirit. I was shocked about it. They constantly tell us the we are the true religion.

Is it not so wonderful, so beautiful, so heart wrenching, so heart healing, and heart filling that our God came to earth and nailed Himself to the cross as His own sacrifice for our sins, how humble my God is, but how absolutely supreme in power and love. That He stooped to come to earth for me to save my soul from the works of evil, Is this not pure and perfect joy within our hearts that makes us so humble before Him to worship honor Him. What or who is a borean, I cannot find it in scriptures and what I cannot find in scripture always makes me very wary, is not being born again enough, it is for me. the sure way to see if someone has the Holy Spirit is by fruits, if they have the fruits of the Spirits they will walk and talk according to the fruits of the Spirit. @Quest Rader Most people who leave the jwcult become atheist or evilutionist which are both cults, The only way to make an educated decision of the bible is to read it in its entirety. If you think your own strength can save you , then you are sadly mistaken, you have a soul and that soul is eternal and it will live forever in one of two places Many organized religions have polluted the word of God and have made it a business or a tool to control people. Salvation is something that happens between you and Jesus. And even devilutionist (evo's) believe that Jesus was a real man, they just refuse to accept that He is God in the flesh who died for the sin of the world for whosoever will believe. And you must admit that this is a very sinful world, just breaking existing laws are sins that if caught you must pay a price for it. God does not force anyone to serve Him, it is freedom of choice. Becoming a born again Christian is very emotional, it is something I still cry with great joy over. When I read the bible it was just me the bible and the Father Son and Holy Spirit and I was never a jw. Before I read the bible I was a hoarder's house, I could clean up the outside a bit , but my inside was full of garbage and although I had a smile upon my face, I was dying on the inside and I could not change myself, I was in need , in deep need of a Savior. And the bible was my last hope and I read the bible and it changed my life completely, because by the time I finished the bible I come to the belief it was true, but believing the bible is true is still not salvation. That only comes when a person asks Jesus into their heart for the forgiveness of their sin. And if you are not there yet then I pray that day will come for you. After I received Christ He made me a new creation in Him, where old things of your old life are passed away and all things are made new. I was born out of this world and re-born into the kingdom of God, this is very emotional to be forgiven of your sin and then filled with the love of God through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, I still cry with joy of having sins forgiven, not only that, but I bow down humbly before Him and give Him praise for setting me free from my sin, for entering into my heart and cleaning out all the garbage that was within me and washing me clean and making me presentable before my God not having a righteousness of my own, but having the righteousness of His Son that dwells within me. You are a sinner, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, so you are at war with God and in the end you will lose. My sins are forgiven in Christ Jesus my Lord whom I know personally, and God Himself has become my Father, I know Him personally. I hope that all mankind would come to Jesus for the forgiveness of their sin but most will not. Israel is living proof that the bible is true and was one of thew reasons that I believed that the bible was the word of God when I first read about Israel. And I realized that Israel was a nation today and that they were coming home from the nations that they had been scattered to by God. And still today the Israeli Jewish people are still returning to Israel from all over the world to their ancient homeland that God Himself promised to Abraham, the first Jew and Isaac and Jacob and their descendants who are the Jewish people of today. And they will continue to return to the until the end. God spoke to Israel by His prophets and said, "Speak softly to Jerusalem, speak tenderly to Israel tell them that their hard service is over , for they have received from the Lords hand double for their sin". If God so punishes His own people how much more will He punish those who hate Israel Gods chosen. And yet the whole world is once again turning their hearts against Gods chosen people many not even believing that the holocaust even happened, how soon they forgot., or pretend to. When God scattered Israel He also cursed the land and in Israels absence no occupier of their land could barely scratch a living on it. Then God said , tell the land that I am bringing my people home and to prepare to produce its fruit. And in 70 short yrs. Israel has gone from nothing to an middle east super power. No other nation upon the earth has done so much in so little time. More than surrounding nations have done in 1,000yrs. They could never have done so much without Gods full blessing. Yet today we see the world turning against Israels Jewish people again, as a man said, "it is once again alright to hate the Jews" And they will play a major role in the end. Everyone has a soul and that soul will live forever in one of two places. Your physical body, including your heart and brain, lungs for breathing are just instruments that your soul uses while it is in your body. And if your soul , which gives you your consciousness, was to step out of your body your body would collapse and if you could not return to your body in a certain length of time you would be found dead and your soul would be in the hands of Jesus, if you are saved, or satan if you are not saved. If you fall into satans hands you will be in hell until the judgement where you will be found guilty of not receiving Jesus when you were upon the earth, Then is the very worst possible thing will happen to you , the lake of fire reserved for satan and all who follow him. And if you are not saved in Christ then you belong to satan thats just automatic, if you are not serving Jesus then you are serving satan and you will be there with your god eternally. I hope and pray that you will receive Jesus and live, why should you die such an eternal death if you do not have to. It's called eternal death, but you will be alive but forever forsaken and never will you receive another chance to receive Jesus, once in you will never come out , your sense of lost and hopelessness will be beyond anything you ever could feel upon the earth today, so receive Christ and live. God does not want any man to perish, but that all would come to salvation that is in Christ His Son alone, may God through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit call your name, and He will .but you must answer. Salvation is a free gift, but it is up to you to receive it, choose Jesus and live!!!
The greatest myth upon the earth today is the evilution myth, it is a myth without a shred of evidence, and many lost souls believe in it. I, at one time was like maybe you in your unbelief, mine was an I see belief, and I would tell anyone, you see that chair I can believe in that chair because I can see it, but don't try to tell me about anything that I cannot see with my eyes or touch with my hands, but God had other plans for me. What you cannot understand is the born again experience, and every person who receives Jesus has this witness within their hearts (soul) No one, even supposed churches, wrote Israeli Jewish people out of the bible, they believed that Israel would never become a nation again. They lost faith in scriptures that clearly state that God would return His people back to their ancient homeland. They saw how the Jews were dispersed to the nations by the Roman empire, when the Jews at that time rebelled against the Romans who were occupying their land.. This was in 70a.d., that's just history everyone knows this. And after this where ever the Jewish people were scattered to they were treated in the most horrendous way. They became the scape goats for every failing government, just blame it on the Jews, as people are doing again today. They were driven out of countries and were always looking for a place to settle. They were made to live in the fringes of societies. And they were murdered, robbed of all they had, tortured then driven out to another country this happen over and over again. Until a madman had over 6 million of the Jewish people murdered systematically and diabolically in the holocaust. Who can hate to that depth. And most churches said God can't mean that the Jews would have their homeland back, so everywhere it said Israel in the old testament they changed that name to church. Then when Israel became a nation again in 1948, they then should have realized their mistake, and reinstated Israel's name back in scripture and fully support the Jewish name and nation back into the bible, but they had been teaching this false doctrine for so long they could not bring themselves to admit their colossal mistake and many still deny Israel as Gods chosen people. I for one, when I read the bible never found a place where God said He utterly forsook His people. He said He would punish them greatly for breaking their oath to Him it was part of the curse, but after this He would gather them back with great love and mercy as we see today. For 2000 yrs. Gods people wandered the earth waiting for His promise, and in 1948 Israel became a nation again.2,000 yrs. the only nation that this has happened to and again all odds. They returned to a wasteland and in 70yrs they have gone from nothing to being a middle east super power, maybe even a world super power. They could never have done this without Gods full blessing. No other nation upon the face of the earth has accomplished so much in so little time. Israel is on the cutting edge on everything, and people from all around the world are sent to Israel to learn their techniques, in science, agriculture, and many other industries import to man. The have turned the wasteland into an Eden just as scriptures say they would. Prove to me that Israel does not exist, it just shows how uninformed you must be. The Jewish people can trace their heritage back to Abraham Isaac and Jacob. Just as Arabs and muslims trace their heritage back to Ishmael the son of Hagar, a slave girl of Abraham. You are judging of that which you do not know. The entire Jewish nation are the direct descendants of Abraham and the only Jewish nation on earth, that this world will try to destroy in the future and when this begins I hope then you might open your eyes. Your only as blind as you chose to be. We all make our choices and you have made yours, for now. The day will come when you will need Jesus and I hope you will answer His call. So go your way in peace I have no quarrel with you. I have Christ by choice and you have not by choice, and my place is to warn you, some receive the message many do not, so your answer does not surprise me. At least read the bible in its entirety then make your decision because without you having any knowledge of it there is nothing to talk about. Whatever you believe or do not believe that is your god, so everyone has their god even you , only yours is not the true God. If you believe in nothing then nothing is your god, but it will not save your soul, only salvation through Jesus Christ the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again from the dead for your sake, can set you free from your sin, but you must receive Him into your heart. And now like it or not you are locked in and will have no excuse on that day when Christ will judge the hearts of man. The day will come when you will need him, do not allow your pride to dictate you're fate, you're at war with God and His Son, I'm just a servant and messenger. In Christ love. ed
JESUS said; "BY THEIR FRUITS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM" ! ! ! My Son in Law, a Baptized Witness has an unmarried brother ( a J W) who visited my wife and I and our 7 children. My wife had made a big meal for the occasion. As we were all sitting around our large dinning room table He stated, I really should explain something. I was a jehovah witness for 26 year, during the pandemic I had to move to another city, so I started new congregation, the meetings were by zoom, by the time I got sick, so on zoom I turned off the camera and one of the elders, Adolfo Lopez, was taking me of zoom, because of it. I sent him a message explaining him why my camera was off. He did not care. So that was one of the things that made think about being in the organization. I had no money and I told them that I was struggling, they told me to go to a charity church for food. So that was it. I stopped connecting to zoom. Then I started looking for ex jw and I found that I was not the only one leaving the organization. Then I learned that in the jw literature there were into the watch tower subliminal images of demons under it. And if you play the songs awkward there is messages to Satan. So then I realized that this organizacion worship demos. I was so disappointed and angry, because I really tough it was the true religion. 😦
I have been a a POMO for 40 years but still can’t think about Jesus as God. But I suffered a stroke in October and in the hospital room there was a cross & I prayed to that, to Jesus & felt such a relief in my heart. Still confused about what this mean. The doctrine about him being the son of God is still pretty ingrained in my mind.

This is so sad in many different ways. It’s painful to wake up to find you’ve been in a cult and then not know where to go. So I sympathize Kirsteen in that regard. But what I find equally as heartbreaking is that she has exchanged one lie for another by accepting the unscriptural belief that Jesus is the same God as his Father. John 1:1 is a very interesting verse and I’ve studied the Trinity for 30+ years however what Kirsteen said about there being no Bible translations that supported the rendering “a god” at John 1:1c is sadly false. Now, maybe the ones she looked at didn’t have that rendering but that doesn’t meant they don’t exist. Actually one of the earliest translations of the Gospel of John was written in the Coptic language. (A language spoken in the region of Egypt) And this language was different from Koine Greek in that it had indefinite articles like “a” and “an”. And the Coptic text translates John 1:1c as “and the Word was a god.” The fact is the popular translation “and the Word was God”, actually teaches Modalism since it identifies the Word as the same God he is with namely, God the Father. That’s why when you really drill Trinitarian apologist’s as to whether the word god/theos is definite or qualitative they will say qualitative, as in “and the Word was divine” because the realize that “heresy” would result if theos is to be viewed as definite. But most people, especially JW’s or exJw’s aren’t aware of these facts and so they are easy prey for those pushing this false teaching. Kirsteen if you need or want more proof about the unscriptural nature of the Trinity let me know.

Per Ezra 6:14,15 confirms Darius died in his sixth year. But secular history claims he ruled 36 years, which is a lie. 30 years were added to his rule to make him old enough to be the grandfather to Artaxerxeses I, who was claiming to be the son of Xerxes. But Xerxes and Artaxerxes I were actually the same king. Ultimately, as Martin Anstey points out, per the Bible, the 1st of Cyrus should be dated in 455 BCE. After you actually do the research to confirm this, you can date year 23 of Nebuchadnezzar to 525 BCE, the year of the last deportation. (Jeremiah 52:30). Jerusalem fell 4 years earlier in year 19. This means Jerusalem actually fell in 529 BCE. For a Jehovah's Witness, this means the second coming must be corrected from 1914 to 1992. Note that based on 36 CE ending the 70th week, 1996 also ends the 70th week. 4x490=1960+36=1996 So the 70th week in our time is from 1989-1996. The mid-week Passover occurs on April 6, 1993. Jesus only fulfilled the first half of the 70th week. He began his ministry in 29 CE but died in the middle of the week during Passover week of 33 CE. If Jesus returns in 1992, he apparently comes to fulfill the second half of the 70th week. 70 weeks is 490 years. The covenant with Israel was for a period of seventy jubilees, a period of 3430 years from 1435 BCE to 1996 AD. 455 BCE - 36 CE is the third day of the covenant week of 490 years each. 1506-1996 AD is the seventh day of the covenant week. I'm simply noting that the 70th jubilee is from 1947-1996 and the 70th week of the seventh day is from 1989-1996. If Christ is to fulfill the second half of the 70th week of the seventh day, then he must return sometime after Passover of 1992 but prior to Passover of 1993. Remember, Matthew says "Nobody knows the day AND hour". It does not say "day OR hour". This means at some point, alert persons will know the day and year of Christ's return, but would never know the hour. Now I know this is new and hard to believe, but what if this is really true? It would mean there are two prophetic references pointing to 1992 as the year of the second coming. But do we care? If so you will research what is involved with redating the return from Babylon in 455 BCE rather than 537 BCE. The information is available. Making a potentially false and unconfirmed statement is not good enough. So here's some of my science that you must comment on and/or contradict. 1. A solar eclipse on July 17, 709 BCE matches a third month eclipse mentioned in the Assyrian eponym. Currently a month 2 eclipse on June 15, 763 BCE is used to date the Assyrian period. Now here's the basics. Solar eclipses are dated on the last day of the month. The year begins after the vernal equinox on March 28. So the first month of the year with an eclipse ending around the 15th would have begun around the 15th of April and ended around the 15th of May. Month 2 would have begun around the 15th of May and ended around the 15th of June. Month 3 would have begun around the 15th of June and ended the around the 15th of July. So the eclipse on July 17, 709 BCE is the normally occurring third month eclipse. It is 54 years after the eclipse occurring on June 15, 763 BCE. 763-709=54 Shishack's invasion of Israel is dated to 925 BCE based on the 763 BCE eclipse. His invasion based on the 709 BCE eclipse falls 54 years later in 871 BCE. Which date is correct? 2. Radiocarbon dating of destructive level of City IV of Rehov is dated to 871 BCE. The error margin is just 5 years. So 925 BCE is too early for Shishack's invasion. So it's the wrong eclipse reference per radiocarbon dating. But the 709 BCE eclipse confirms the absolute date of the invasion is 871 BCE, confirmed now by radiocarbon dating! So we know Shishack's invasion took place in 871 BCE. Shishack's invasion took place in year 5 of Rehoboam during a six-year co-rulership with Solomon. So Solomon's rule has an absolute date of 910-870 BCE with his 39th year falling in 871 BCE. That means his fourth year falls in 906 BCE. This gives us an absolute date for the Exodus in 1386 BCE. Guess what? When we use 1947 to date the 70th jubilee, we get an absolute date for the Exodus in 1386 BCE. So the radiocarbon dating and the eclipse simply confirm what we already know. So it is over as far as dating the Exodus, Solomon and the Assyrian period. Now you have to come up with scientific evidence that contradicts this, which there is none. The Exodus and the return from Babylon and the return from exile in 1947 are all major jubilee events. The return from Babylon is exactly 19 jubilees after the Exodus. 19 jubilees is 931 years. 19x49=931. Subtract 931 from 1386 and you get 455 BCE. So per the Bible, the return must be dated to 455 BCE. That means the 70-year desolation and exile actually began in 525 BCE, year 23 of Nebuchadnezzar. Jerusalem fell 4 years earlier in 529 BCE, year 19 of Nebuchadnezzar. This means year 37 fell in 511 BCE, which explains why there are two references in the VAT4956 to 511 BCE, confirming the original dating before it was revised to 568 BCE. Now what "scientific" evidence do you have that will contradict this? You need to reference it as I have. Otherwise it is simply an unsubstantiated statement. Not to say there might be some conflicting scientific evidence. But we need to see and examine it. Otherwise, your statement is contradicted by radiocarbon dating as well as astronomy.

Per Herodotus, this was an Olympic year and the year a solar eclipse occurred in the early spring over Persia. Guess what? There was indeed an eclipse over Persia on March 21, 424 BCE. Of note there was no eclipse in the revised date of 480 BCE. So now, two strategic eclipses match the original timeline. All that means is the battle of Marathon must be dated to 434 BCE rather than 490 BCE. According to Herodotus, Darius was beheaded at this time, which caused the battle to break out. Per the Bible, this was the year the temple was completed after 21 years of building. Add 21 to 434 BCE and we get 455 BCE for the 1st of Cyrus. So it's over. The timeline is correctable and recoverable. Jerusalem did not fall in 586 BCE but in 529 BCE. Bottom line, this is going to be an alternative timeline, regardless. I'm just noting this came out in 1913 by Martin Anstey already. This is not new. But ultimately, we're laughing at people who don't know this. So what you need to do academically, is to say Kathleen Kenyon got her numbers wrong about the fall of Jericho and here's the new evidence. Jesus kept what Adam lost. Holiness. Jesus never turned away from the Father, never changed God's word. He truly is the visible image of the Father. The way, the truth and the life is in Jesus. When we do the work from the heart that is formed in us by hearing and listening to the word of God, then the spirit helps us do the work of repentance toward God. Because Jesus remains HOLY anyone who received his spirit - crying out Abba Father - obeys the word of God given us through Christ Jesus. God the Father being in Jesus and Jesus being HOLY in the Father makes him the reflection of the invisible God.

The days being cut short refers to WWII ending in 1945 rather than in 1947. The tribulation was supposed to be 7 years from 1940-1947. Note that 490 years ends in 36 CE and begins in 455 BCE. This is the third day of seven days. The seventh day is from 1506 to 1996. The tribulation begins after 62 weeks, which is 434 years. Add 434 to 1506 and we get 1940. So the tribulation must occur between 1940-1947. Verse 29 says "Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days...". So the tribulation of Matthew 24 occurs BEFORE the second coming. Thus there are TWO tribulations. The first is the Holocaust. The second is Armageddon. 2. John 1:1 should be translated as:. "In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God. The Word was god.". God the father is "a god". So "a god" is incorrect. Jewish culture is used to two people having the same title. This occurred during a co-rulership, where father and son both held the title or position of "king". John 1:1 is saying that the Father and his son both hold the position of god. Verse 18 says Jesus is the only begotten god in the bosom position of the Father". Only begotten means Jesus was created. God and Jesus are father and son. 3. Consider that perhaps the first coming occurs during the 70th week of the third day (455 BCE - 36 CE). But that the second coming also occurs during the 70th week, obviously the 70tj week of the seventh day, which is from 1506-1996. That means Jesus must return by 1996. IF you see clear about making that application. Acts 1 is about when Christ begins to rule in the earth, which is after Armageddon. So no problem knowing the YEAR of the second coming. Please don't understand that Jesus is Jehova God, I'm on lesson 25 on the study, and this is making me think. Didn't jesus call God his father, so I'm really lost on this. Sorry to ask this. When you look at your reflection in the mirror what do you see?... randomness or design? When you look at a beautiful painting do you think... nice random accident or do you ponder the idea of the artist creating the painting? When you look at a spectacular building do you assume that all the materials just fell into place by random accident or do you realize it had to have a designer? Now take a look outside at the trees, water, sky, animals, grass, snow, the warmth of the son... everything in nature playing it's role like instruments in a symphony. Is that all randomness or chaos brought to a state of order on accident or is it by design? Study the alignment of the Earth, moon, and sun... along with our solar system and you'll discover that if anything were just the slightest out of alignment, we'd burn in the suns heat or freeze to death... or have a catastrophic collision. None of it is random, it's all by design. A short study of the perfect code written in your DNA will show similar results... if one little thing would have been out of place, you might have been born with 6 legs and a head like a horse ...that is if you even survive. The odds against any of us being alive are so astronomical that it screams design. The very fact that you can exercise conscious thought and then type coherent sentences proves design.
Here's an experiment... and I'll even give you an advantage. Take a pocket watch apart down to every last gear. Throw all the parts in a box. Now shake the box until you've managed to shake all the pieces back together into a working pocket watch. What are the odds of that happening?... now consider, I gave you the advantage of having all the parts already in their particular design. What would be the odds if you did it with raw materials extracted from the earth?
The whole point is this, design demands that their be a designer. God is our designer and our creator. According to scriptures, you were created in God's image and that is no accident. The best part is, our creator wants a relationship with His creation and Jesus Christ is the door to that relationship.
I understand the skepticism... religion can be a crap shoot. Man's ego and fallen nature cause some to abuse the Bible to formulate false doctrines, "religiosity", and control. The Bible is trustworthy... man and religion for the sake of self righteousness are not. God didn't give us religion, man did, because man wants to feel self important and create his own version of righteousness so he can then judge others. Man is stupid, God is not.
Let's talk about the Bible and why it is trustworthy. Most important, the entirety of the Bible points to the Savior, Jesus Christ. But, that alone isn't helpful if you're unaware of what makes it a trustworthy book. The Bible tells the future of God's plan for all of mankind. God chose righteous men and anointed them to prophecy things 1000's of years before they would happen and they happened 100% of the time right on time. That's part of the amazing power of the "old testament" and "new testament" in the Bible. The "old testament" prophesied of things to come and many where fulfilled in those days and the "new testament" testifies to the fulfillment of many more prophecies coming true in the 1st century AD, when Jesus began His ministry. For example, there are well over 200 "old testament" prophecies that told of Jesus's birth, death, and resurrection from 100's to even 1000's of years prior to that historical fulfillment, with 100% accuracy, down to the most ridiculous of details including His name, place of birth, city, and that He would ride through the east gate on a donkey when he entered Jerusalem days before His crucifixion. I've seen the math for calculating the odds if only 8 of those came true and it's a number with 26 zero's after it. It's crazy. Another that was fulfilled less than 100 years ago was Israel becoming a country again for the first time since the 1st century AD... that was May 14,1948... in one day it was accomplished, just as the prophecy was told around 3000 years ago. There are no other so-called prophets, books, or religions that have ever done that. There are none. There are over 2000 prophecies in the Bible. There are still some yet to be fulfilled and we're only given hints of things to be watchful of to know the season which may mark there coming fulfillment. But some key things will trigger a timed event and if you're keen to the craziness of this world over the last 2 years, you can be sure something is on the horizon. As sure as the other prophecies have come to pass, so will those yet to be fulfilled.
... Again, the Bible is trustworthy and it points to Jesus.

I question so much as I got older I left soon as I left high school 2008 never looked back....the religion manipulates the members thinking its the only religion that is perfect on earth but they can't get the date of Armageddon right....

I have watched many testimonies from ex jw's however, none has captured me as Kirsteen Cambell's. I learned an Extremely Significant Revelation concerning the Blood of Jesus. Kirsteen said " If you refuse blood to save your life, you're rejecting Jesus precious sacrifice." That was such a powerful truth I never acknowledged. WOW, I thank her so much for that Truth. She also said, when she became aware the org is a cult, she called her son & daughter to apologize in hope she did not "damage" them, which tells me she never "shunned" her kids for leaving the cult. Kirsteen is one of the few who did not allow this Evil Cult to lose her Natural Affection, the Love a mother should Never lose for her children.

I relate to Kirsteen, born in JWs, father studied (to keep my mom happy lol) but never converted b/c he didn't feel he could live up to the standards. Our congregation had lovely people, too, loved God, welcomed all. I remember everything Kirsteen talked about from the early 70s & 80s. I disassociated myself after my mom passed away, went to college and sought out my own truth. Found out the prevalent practice of shunning and other abuse cover-up atrocities in my journey - have friends who endured such things in the JW org. Opened my eyes. I'm so glad the congregation I grew up in had strong, Godly women and men - they never shunned. My mom never did when my older sisters fell away & my mom's best friend (an elder's wife) didn't when 2 of her kids left. Biggest controversy was when an elder was called out for watching "Three's Company" after a Bible study. Yay for him, the next talk about TV & movies were "up to our conscious" 😁 Even though I basically had a good childhood growing up in it, I have a strong aversion to any organization that's controlled by men or tell you not to think for yourself or ask questions. God gave us a brain and wants us to use it! So much I didn't know about the GB until afterwards.

There’s so many of us and yet we are isolated from each other. My husband and I left friends and family of 55 years…not just a “man made organization.” My husband died of cancer a year ago. No contact from grown children. No contact from anyone. Living in isolation in an impoverished rural community as we had moved “where the need is greater.” Can’t sell the homestead and had no retirement plans because “Armageddon is coming tomorrow.”
“Alone” doesn’t adequately describe the situation.

Thank you for sharing your story. It’s such an amazing story and how when we wake up the Lord starts showing us ways to him and putting the pieces together in a very personal way. When I was doubting I was no longer afraid to pray with my doubts and asked God to reveal who he is because I felt no love in this organization. It was then slowly the scales from my eyes had been removed that I could truly see Jesus and not thru the eyes of a man made cult. The Lord grew me into such a love for him on such a personal level. I finally felt love and was no longer afraid. I found I am worthy in his eyes. I remember with my child apologizing to her for bringing her up as a Jehovah witness and she looked at me and said it’s ok mom. You thought it was the right thing to do. We both found Jesus together and 2 years later we were baptized correctly together. I am so thankful you found the real truth and have developed a personal relationship with Jesus. Praise God!! He is so so good.
I'm so glad that your daughter and yourself share such a closer bond now. What a wonderful parent you are taking responsibility for being misled. We tried so hard and thought our children were better off within this death dealing cult. Sending Christian love.

So emotional listening to her relate how she apologized to her children. It's so wonderful to loose that feeling of unworthyness and worthlessness that you feel, being raised in the organisation or indoctrinated as a child. To know you are good enough just as you are even with all your faults. You are worthy of love. One difference, though, is that I never really felt close to Jehovah but I always loved Jesus, even from a little girl.

I have a degree but it means NOTHING when I read the NWT, my brain oozes out of my ears. No wonder my mom tells me I need the JW pubs to "understand" what the Bible says. Thank you JESUS for not allowing me to go there. Shoot the 1611 KJV is easy for me to understand. (Thanks to the 1950s 10 Commandment Movie)
I absolutely enjoyed this interview! When she speaks of being afraid of seeking Jesus after leaving the JW's and even being afraid of looking at the Bible I relate to that so much! Listening to this Lady , I was suddenly struck by a JW recently who said recently on the Cart every thing in our books is from the Bible , but then every thing Satan used on Jesus to turn him away from God was from the Scriptures!!

When I heard Jeffrey Jackson in the Australia commission al the court hearing saying that it was pretentious to say that jw was the true religion, and thay didn't have Jehovah holly stirit. I was shocked about it. They constantly tell us the we are the true religion.

Is it not so wonderful, so beautiful, so heart wrenching, so heart healing, and heart filling that our God came to earth and nailed Himself to the cross as His own sacrifice for our sins, how humble my God is, but how absolutely supreme in power and love. That He stooped to come to earth for me to save my soul from the works of evil, Is this not pure and perfect joy within our hearts that makes us so humble before Him to worship honor Him. @Quest Rader Most people who leave the jwcult become atheist or evilutionist which are both cults, The only way to make an educated decision of the bible is to read it in its entirety. If you think your own strength can save you , then you are sadly mistaken, you have a soul and that soul is eternal and it will live forever in one of two places Many organized religions have polluted the word of God and have made it a business or a tool to control people. Salvation is something that happens between you and Jesus. And even devilutionist (evo's) believe that Jesus was a real man, they just refuse to accept that He is God in the flesh who died for the sin of the world for whosoever will believe. And you must admit that this is a very sinful world, just breaking existing laws are sins that if caught you must pay a price for it. God does not force anyone to serve Him, it is freedom of choice. Becoming a born again Christian is very emotional, it is something I still cry with great joy over. When I read the bible it was just me the bible and the Father Son and Holy Spirit and I was never a jw. Before I read the bible I was a hoarder's house, I could clean up the outside a bit , but my inside was full of garbage and although I had a smile upon my face, I was dying on the inside and I could not change myself, I was in need , in deep need of a Savior. And the bible was my last hope and I read the bible and it changed my life completely, because by the time I finished the bible I come to the belief it was true, but believing the bible is true is still not salvation. That only comes when a person asks Jesus into their heart for the forgiveness of their sin. And if you are not there yet then I pray that day will come for you. After I received Christ He made me a new creation in Him, where old things of your old life are passed away and all things are made new. I was born out of this world and re-born into the kingdom of God, this is very emotional to be forgiven of your sin and then filled with the love of God through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, I still cry with joy of having sins forgiven, not only that, but I bow down humbly before Him and give Him praise for setting me free from my sin, for entering into my heart and cleaning out all the garbage that was within me and washing me clean and making me presentable before my God not having a righteousness of my own, but having the righteousness of His Son that dwells within me. You are a sinner, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, so you are at war with God and in the end you will lose. My sins are forgiven in Christ Jesus my Lord whom I know personally, and God Himself has become my Father, I know Him personally. I hope that all mankind would come to Jesus for the forgiveness of their sin but most will not. Israel is living proof that the bible is true and was one of thew reasons that I believed that the bible was the word of God when I first read about Israel. And I realized that Israel was a nation today and that they were coming home from the nations that they had been scattered to by God. And still today the Israeli Jewish people are still returning to Israel from all over the world to their ancient homeland that God Himself promised to Abraham, the first Jew and Isaac and Jacob and their descendants who are the Jewish people of today. And they will continue to return to the until the end. God spoke to Israel by His prophets and said, "Speak softly to Jerusalem, speak tenderly to Israel tell them that their hard service is over , for they have received from the Lords hand double for their sin". If God so punishes His own people how much more will He punish those who hate Israel Gods chosen. And yet the whole world is once again turning their hearts against Gods chosen people many not even believing that the holocaust even happened, how soon they forgot., or pretend to. When God scattered Israel He also cursed the land and in Israels absence no occupier of their land could barely scratch a living on it. Then God said , tell the land that I am bringing my people home and to prepare to produce its fruit. And in 70 short yrs. Israel has gone from nothing to an middle east super power. No other nation upon the earth has done so much in so little time. More than surrounding nations have done in 1,000yrs. They could never have done so much without Gods full blessing. Yet today we see the world turning against Israels Jewish people again, as a man said, "it is once again alright to hate the Jews" And they will play a major role in the end. Everyone has a soul and that soul will live forever in one of two places. Your physical body, including your heart and brain, lungs for breathing are just instruments that your soul uses while it is in your body. And if your soul , which gives you your consciousness, was to step out of your body your body would collapse and if you could not return to your body in a certain length of time you would be found dead and your soul would be in the hands of Jesus, if you are saved, or satan if you are not saved. If you fall into satans hands you will be in hell until the judgement where you will be found guilty of not receiving Jesus when you were upon the earth, Then is the very worst possible thing will happen to you , the lake of fire reserved for satan and all who follow him. And if you are not saved in Christ then you belong to satan thats just automatic, if you are not serving Jesus then you are serving satan and you will be there with your god eternally. I hope and pray that you will receive Jesus and live, why should you die such an eternal death if you do not have to. It's called eternal death, but you will be alive but forever forsaken and never will you receive another chance to receive Jesus, once in you will never come out , your sense of lost and hopelessness will be beyond anything you ever could feel upon the earth today, so receive Christ and live. God does not want any man to perish, but that all would come to salvation that is in Christ His Son alone, may God through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit call your name, and He will .but you must answer. Salvation is a free gift, but it is up to you to receive it, choose Jesus and live!!!
The greatest myth upon the earth today is the evilution myth, it is a myth without a shred of evidence, and many lost souls believe in it. I, at one time was like maybe you in your unbelief, mine was an I see belief, and I would tell anyone, you see that chair I can believe in that chair because I can see it, but don't try to tell me about anything that I cannot see with my eyes or touch with my hands, but God had other plans for me. What you cannot understand is the born again experience, and every person who receives Jesus has this witness within their hearts (soul) No one, even supposed churches, wrote Israeli Jewish people out of the bible, they believed that Israel would never become a nation again. They lost faith in scriptures that clearly state that God would return His people back to their ancient homeland. They saw how the Jews were dispersed to the nations by the Roman empire, when the Jews at that time rebelled against the Romans who were occupying their land.. This was in 70a.d., that's just history everyone knows this. And after this where ever the Jewish people were scattered to they were treated in the most horrendous way. They became the scape goats for every failing government, just blame it on the Jews, as people are doing again today. They were driven out of countries and were always looking for a place to settle. They were made to live in the fringes of societies. And they were murdered, robbed of all they had, tortured then driven out to another country this happen over and over again. Until a madman had over 6 million of the Jewish people murdered systematically and diabolically in the holocaust. Who can hate to that depth. And most churches said God can't mean that the Jews would have their homeland back, so everywhere it said Israel in the old testament they changed that name to church. Then when Israel became a nation again in 1948, they then should have realized their mistake, and reinstated Israel's name back in scripture and fully support the Jewish name and nation back into the bible, but they had been teaching this false doctrine for so long they could not bring themselves to admit their colossal mistake and many still deny Israel as Gods chosen people. I for one, when I read the bible never found a place where God said He utterly forsook His people. He said He would punish them greatly for breaking their oath to Him it was part of the curse, but after this He would gather them back with great love and mercy as we see today. For 2000 yrs. Gods people wandered the earth waiting for His promise, and in 1948 Israel became a nation again.2,000 yrs. the only nation that this has happened to and again all odds. They returned to a wasteland and in 70yrs they have gone from nothing to being a middle east super power, maybe even a world super power. They could never have done this without Gods full blessing. No other nation upon the face of the earth has accomplished so much in so little time. Israel is on the cutting edge on everything, and people from all around the world are sent to Israel to learn their techniques, in science, agriculture, and many other industries import to man. The have turned the wasteland into an Eden just as scriptures say they would. Prove to me that Israel does not exist, it just shows how uninformed you must be. The Jewish people can trace their heritage back to Abraham Isaac and Jacob. Just as Arabs and muslims trace their heritage back to Ishmael the son of Hagar, a slave girl of Abraham. You are judging of that which you do not know. The entire Jewish nation are the direct descendants of Abraham and the only Jewish nation on earth, that this world will try to destroy in the future and when this begins I hope then you might open your eyes. Your only as blind as you chose to be. We all make our choices and you have made yours, for now. The day will come when you will need Jesus and I hope you will answer His call. So go your way in peace I have no quarrel with you. I have Christ by choice and you have not by choice, and my place is to warn you, some receive the message many do not, so your answer does not surprise me. At least read the bible in its entirety then make your decision because without you having any knowledge of it there is nothing to talk about. Whatever you believe or do not believe that is your god, so everyone has their god even you , only yours is not the true God. If you believe in nothing then nothing is your god, but it will not save your soul, only salvation through Jesus Christ the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again from the dead for your sake, can set you free from your sin, but you must receive Him into your heart. And now like it or not you are locked in and will have no excuse on that day when Christ will judge the hearts of man. The day will come when you will need him, do not allow your pride to dictate you're fate, you're at war with God and His Son, I'm just a servant and messenger. In Christ love. ed
JESUS said; "BY THEIR FRUITS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM" ! ! ! My Son in Law, a Baptized Witness has an unmarried brother ( a J W) who visited my wife and I and our 7 children. My wife had made a big meal for the occasion. As we were all sitting around our large dinning room table He stated, I really should explain something. Now this young man was from 1700 miles away and very well traveled in the Witness circles; "I HAVE NEVER SEEN A WITNESS FAMILY THAT WAS NOT BROKEN UP IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER" ! ! ! That tells everyone all they need to know about the Watch Tower Society. SO,SO, . . . . SAD. "HOME WRECKER's" ! ! !

I was a jehovah witness for 26 year, during the pandemic I had to move to another city, so I started new congregation, the meetings were by zoom, by the time I got sick, so on zoom I turned off the camera and one of the elders, Adolfo Lopez, was taking me of zoom, because of it. I sent him a message explaining him why my camera was off. He did not care. So that was one of the things that made think about being in the organization. I had no money and I told them that I was struggling, they told me to go to a charity church for food. So that was it. I stopped connecting to zoom. Then I started looking for ex jw and I found that I was not the only one leaving the organization. Then I learned that in the jw literature there were into the watch tower subliminal images of demons under it. And if you play the songs awkward there is messages to Satan. So then I realized that this organizacion worship demos. I was so disappointed and angry, because I really tough it was the true religion. 😦

This is so sad in many different ways. It’s painful to wake up to find you’ve been in a cult and then not know where to go. So I sympathize Kirsteen in that regard. But what I find equally as heartbreaking is that she has exchanged one lie for another by accepting the unscriptural belief that Jesus is the same God as his Father. John 1:1 is a very interesting verse and I’ve studied the Trinity for 30+ years however what Kirsteen said about there being no Bible translations that supported the rendering “a god” at John 1:1c is sadly false. Now, maybe the ones she looked at didn’t have that rendering but that doesn’t meant they don’t exist. Actually one of the earliest translations of the Gospel of John was written in the Coptic language. (A language spoken in the region of Egypt) And this language was different from Koine Greek in that it had indefinite articles like “a” and “an”. And the Coptic text translates John 1:1c as “and the Word was a god.” The fact is the popular translation “and the Word was God”, actually teaches Modalism since it identifies the Word as the same God he is with namely, God the Father. That’s why when you really drill Trinitarian apologist’s as to whether the word god/theos is definite or qualitative they will say qualitative, as in “and the Word was divine” because the realize that “heresy” would result if theos is to be viewed as definite. But most people, especially JW’s or exJw’s aren’t aware of these facts and so they are easy prey for those pushing this false teaching. Kirsteen if you need or want more proof about the unscriptural nature of the Trinity let me know.

Per Ezra 6:14,15 confirms Darius died in his sixth year. But secular history claims he ruled 36 years, which is a lie. 30 years were added to his rule to make him old enough to be the grandfather to Artaxerxeses I, who was claiming to be the son of Xerxes. But Xerxes and Artaxerxes I were actually the same king. Ultimately, as Martin Anstey points out, per the Bible, the 1st of Cyrus should be dated in 455 BCE.
After you actually do the research to confirm this, you can date year 23 of Nebuchadnezzar to 525 BCE, the year of the last deportation. (Jeremiah 52:30). Jerusalem fell 4 years earlier in year 19. This means Jerusalem actually fell in 529 BCE.
For a Jehovah's Witness, this means the second coming must be corrected from 1914 to 1992. Note that based on 36 CE ending the 70th week, 1996 also ends the 70th week.
4x490=1960+36=1996
So the 70th week in our time is from 1989-1996. The mid-week Passover occurs on April 6, 1993.
Jesus only fulfilled the first half of the 70th week. He began his ministry in 29 CE but died in the middle of the week during Passover week of 33 CE. If Jesus returns in 1992, he apparently comes to fulfill the second half of the 70th week.
70 weeks is 490 years. The covenant with Israel was for a period of seventy jubilees, a period of 3430 years from 1435 BCE to 1996 AD. 455 BCE - 36 CE is the third day of the covenant week of 490 years each. 1506-1996 AD is the seventh day of the covenant week.
I'm simply noting that the 70th jubilee is from 1947-1996 and the 70th week of the seventh day is from 1989-1996. If Christ is to fulfill the second half of the 70th week of the seventh day, then he must return sometime after Passover of 1992 but prior to Passover of 1993.
Remember, Matthew says "Nobody knows the day AND hour". It does not say "day OR hour". This means at some point, alert persons will know the day and year of Christ's return, but would never know the hour.
Now I know this is new and hard to believe, but what if this is really true? It would mean there are two prophetic references pointing to 1992 as the year of the second coming.
But do we care? If so you will research what is involved with redating the return from Babylon in 455 BCE rather than 537 BCE. The information is available. It's up to you to do the research before the internet is shut down.

1. A solar eclipse on July 17, 709 BCE matches a third month eclipse mentioned in the Assyrian eponym. Currently a month 2 eclipse on June 15, 763 BCE is used to date the Assyrian period. Now here's the basics.
Solar eclipses are dated on the last day of the month. The year begins after the vernal equinox on March 28. So the first month of the year with an eclipse ending around the 15th would have begun around the 15th of April and ended around the 15th of May. Month 2 would have begun around the 15th of May and ended around the 15th of June. Month 3 would have begun around the 15th of June and ended the around the 15th of July. So the eclipse on July 17, 709 BCE is the normally occurring third month eclipse. It is 54 years after the eclipse occurring on June 15, 763 BCE.
763-709=54
Shishack's invasion of Israel is dated to 925 BCE based on the 763 BCE eclipse. His invasion based on the 709 BCE eclipse falls 54 years later in 871 BCE. Which date is correct?
2. Radiocarbon dating of destructive level of City IV of Rehov is dated to 871 BCE. The error margin is just 5 years. So 925 BCE is too early for Shishack's invasion. So it's the wrong eclipse reference per radiocarbon dating. But the 709 BCE eclipse confirms the absolute date of the invasion is 871 BCE, confirmed now by radiocarbon dating! So we know Shishack's invasion took place in 871 BCE.
Shishack's invasion took place in year 5 of Rehoboam during a six-year co-rulership with Solomon. So Solomon's rule has an absolute date of 910-870 BCE with his 39th year falling in 871 BCE. That means his fourth year falls in 906 BCE. This gives us an absolute date for the Exodus in 1386 BCE.
Guess what? When we use 1947 to date the 70th jubilee, we get an absolute date for the Exodus in 1386 BCE. So the radiocarbon dating and the eclipse simply confirm what we already know. So it is over as far as dating the Exodus, Solomon and the Assyrian period.
Now you have to come up with scientific evidence that contradicts this, which there is none.
The Exodus and the return from Babylon and the return from exile in 1947 are all major jubilee events. The return from Babylon is exactly 19 jubilees after the Exodus. 19 jubilees is 931 years. 19x49=931. Subtract 931 from 1386 and you get 455 BCE. So per the Bible, the return must be dated to 455 BCE.
That means the 70-year desolation and exile actually began in 525 BCE, year 23 of Nebuchadnezzar. Jerusalem fell 4 years earlier in 529 BCE, year 19 of Nebuchadnezzar. This means year 37 fell in 511 BCE, which explains why there are two references in the VAT4956 to 511 BCE, confirming the original dating before it was revised to 568 BCE.
Now what "scientific" evidence do you have that will contradict this? You need to reference it as I have. Otherwise it is simply an unsubstantiated statement. Not to say there might be some conflicting scientific evidence. But we need to see and examine it.
Otherwise, your statement is contradicted by radiocarbon dating as well as astronomy.

Note the primary reference is radiocarbon dating. We have great radiocarbon dating from the Iron Age back to the Mid Bronze Age. From that dating we derive the Biblical timeline, which dates every event from the creation of man to the Holocaust.
I can assure you that dating the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BCE is now a joke. Didn't I tell you that Xerxes and Artaxerxes I were the same king? You have to address that. Were they are weren't they?
What this does is shift the argument from science vs. science to bible versus secular. The Bible's timeline can be based on the single date of either 1947 or 29 CE or both. That timeline has dated the Exodus to 1386 BCE, which checks out with radiocarbon dating. Get it?

Just allow me this. There's a paper out there (and I need to find it) that says the only possible match for an eclipse as described at the beginning of the Peloponnesian War occurred in early 402 BCE. That means not only is 431 BCE a fake date to begin the PPW, we can only begin it in 403 BCE.
If so, year 10 falls in 394 BCE, which would date Xerxes' invasion 30 years earlier in 424 BCE. Per Herodotus, this was an Olympic year and the year a solar eclipse occurred in the early spring over Persia. Guess what? There was indeed an eclipse over Persia on March 21, 424 BCE. Of note there was no eclipse in the revised date of 480 BCE. So now, two strategic eclipses match the original timeline.
All that means is the battle of Marathon must be dated to 434 BCE rather than 490 BCE. According to Herodotus, Darius was beheaded at this time, which caused the battle to break out. Per the Bible, this was the year the temple was completed after 21 years of building. Add 21 to 434 BCE and we get 455 BCE for the 1st of Cyrus. So it's over. The timeline is correctable and recoverable. Jerusalem did not fall in 586 BCE but in 529 BCE.
Bottom line, this is going to be an alternative timeline, regardless. I'm just noting this came out in 1913 by Martin Anstey already. This is not new. But ultimately, we're laughing at people who don't know this.
So what you need to do academically, is to say Kathleen Kenyon got her numbers wrong about the fall of Jericho and here's the new evidence. You must dismiss the evidence I've presented in comparison to your own.

1. The tribulation of Matthew 24 is not Armageddon. It is a reference to the Holocaust. The days being cut short refers to WWII ending in 1945 rather than in 1947. The tribulation was supposed to be 7 years from 1940-1947. Note that 490 years ends in 36 CE and begins in 455 BCE. This is the third day of seven days. The seventh day is from 1506 to 1996. The tribulation begins after 62 weeks, which is 434 years. Add 434 to 1506 and we get 1940. So the tribulation must occur between 1940-1947. Verse 29 says "Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days...". So the tribulation of Matthew 24 occurs BEFORE the second coming. Thus there are TWO tribulations. The first is the Holocaust. The second is Armageddon.
2. John 1:1 should be translated as:. "In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God. The Word was god.". God the father is "a god". So "a god" is incorrect. Jewish culture is used to two people having the same title. This occurred during a co-rulership, where father and son both held the title or position of "king". John 1:1 is saying that the Father and his son both hold the position of god. Verse 18 says Jesus is the only begotten god in the bosom position of the Father". Only begotten means Jesus was created. God and Jesus are father and son.
3. Consider that perhaps the first coming occurs during the 70th week of the third day (455 BCE - 36 CE). But that the second coming also occurs during the 70th week, obviously the 70tj week of the seventh day, which is from 1506-1996. That means Jesus must return by 1996. IF you see clear about making that application. Acts 1 is about when Christ begins to rule in the earth, which is after Armageddon. So no problem knowing the YEAR of the second coming.

"Seventy weeks" is 70x49=3430 years. 1947 marks the final jubilee when the Jews come out of exile and regain their homeland. That ends the 70th jubilee in 1996, suggesting that the Exodus occurred in 1386 BCE. So 1386 BCE is compared to archaeology and gets independently confirmed. In the process, we correct pagan timeline revisions of the Persian period. If you don't wish to, you simply compare Biblical dates with pagan dates. Two different timelines.

Please don't understand that Jesus is Jehova God, I'm on lesson 25 on the study, and this is making me think. Didn't jesus call God his father, so I'm really lost on this. Sorry to ask this. But I don't want to follow something if its not right. I was born in spiritualism, but been studying the Bible and then last year accepted a Bible study course. I just want to learn more about God and Jesus but am wondering now on the JW studies🤔
