I find it ironic/hypocritical that frost does the whole, give me 1 million subs/bits/money, but when one of his viewers does the same thing he gets mad at them...
Is my methodology of how I go about it wrong though? I at the end of the day am a salesman in my store. If I want to ask the folks in my store to buy shit, that's normal and okay. If someone else in my store asks someone else to buy something for them it's weird and makes me, the store owner, uncomfortable. If that makes me a hypocrite then every store owner on the planet is a hypocrite.
@@TheFrostPrime Hey, I just want to make a couple things clear, first I'm not really trying to attack you as I enjoy your content, I'm a 8 month sub on twitch and I have watched and like almost all the videos you have posted in the past year, pause, However my pet peeve is hypocritical statements, I make them too in certain circumstances, but at the same time your analogy completely misses the entire context of your twitch channel and I feel like your spinning the narrative to something that is different from reality, in the world of politicians this is called being "technically true". The analogy would only work if you completely ignore the context of your persona/channel, if you were a straight shooter, a serious channel then the store analogy would make sense however this store is different from your average, everyday, boring store... In this store people hand out free stuff 24/7, in this store you make jokes and laugh with your customers about inside topics, in your store you host giveaways, kick people out for fun/donations, invite new people with flashing lights entertainment, and comedy. In this store Rich people come in and give away free things to other people and also have inside jokes with some of their friends that you may not necessarily know about, and in this store this all happens 24/7. If a someone comes in and makes a joke that you take out of context, then play the blame game ascribing motivations that you can't know about, then go back to inside jokes and laughing and joking with the same customers, with inside jokes that other may not know about that is 100% hypocritical, as this is now the classic "rules for thee and not for me." Yes it is your store, yes you can do whatever you want as long as its not illegal, but yes it is also hypocritical, and I felt that since no-one else was standing up for the person that I would make a comment about it.
