I'm digging the event, but one thing I hope for next time is they change the random queuing for raids. Instead of starting immediately, there should be a pre-screen showing all trainers in the link and their teams. Give players 60 seconds to communicate and strategize about what to lead with. Many times there are teams that could work well together, but 2 people lead Murkrow so GG I even think it could benefit from a complete overhaul. Imagine walking up to the Togekiss raid den, pressing A, and seeing a list of hosted rooms with names like: "Gravity Thunder Strat - 2/4" "Help pls - 1/4" "Rain Setup - 3/4" "Caav Strat - 3/4" You’d have the freedom to join a room that matches your strategy or host your own room. This would give a chance to talk and plan with teammates seamlessly before even starting the raid. These raid difficulties demand insanely tight teamwork, but don't provide a proper matchmaking infrastructure so it’s super hard grouping up effectively IMHO. Them addressing this would make raids better for me, but overall W event lol.
The issue with pokemmo events is that there is half a year without events and then it hits you like a train. This event was cool however it was def overwhelming as in, you cant even properly experience it, it feels like you are forced to pick some activities over others. I haven't done any shiny hunting for example bc was busy present hunting, swarm hunting/starmie hunting and now raiding and leveling specific niche raid mons. Like I said, a lot of fun but way 2 much content to enjoy in so few days.
15 if you count Suicune (12 main, plus Jirachi 80, and Jirachi 100) And I kind of agree. At least disclose in advance what the reward after 12 raids will be (like we knew Shaymin would be the LNY reward.) Do not bury the lead and keep people in the dark like the Halloween event. We did not know that the reward was Darkrai, we didn’t know it would be a summon item, and we didn’t know it would involve a 13th raid. That’s all too much crucial info to spring on people half way through the event. (Edit: and I am a player who has beaten each raid, and now has Jirachi.)
I spent Over 8 mil breeding Pokémon and about 200 hours preparing and leveling and what it all came down to was do I have 4 Friends? And the answer is no no one who plays this game at least you need good teamwork and you can't get that with random q I did that for Halloween and was successful after many Attempts like over 200 Sorry for being so full of negativity I hope that everyone succeed
@tallnuta9681 Yeah, the raids are super unappealing to solo players like you and me. I beat the Glaceon raid right when it opened up, started breeding a team for the next raids, then just stopped because I knew I was gonna be miserable attempting to cram all 12 raids in two weeks. trying to build specific teams for most of the raids was already gonna be difficult enough with the time constraints, but then to top it off with having to find people to coordinate with each time... that just doesn't sound fun, it's a real kick in the balls for all of the solo players in the game. I can understand the legendaries needing a well coordinated group to defeat, but you shouldn't need a spreadsheet to defeat something like a gardevoir. The non-legendary raids should be difficult, but reasonably doable in random queue. They really need to optimize the way random queue works, because it's a joke the way it is now. Do what other mmos do and have a bulletin board type system where someone can start a group as the leader, accept/reject join requests, and then have the ability to see what everyone on the team is bringing to the raid so they can advise teammates on what needs to be changed or drop people that aren't prepared.
My first raid was haloween, I brought a bunch of catching pokemon, didn't work out. 2nd raid was the same boss, I brought my best team, not a tailored team. We only got it below 20%. I learned after that and tailored my team , and tore through. Only getting stuck on tangrowth. Now I'm prepping for Jarachi. I have all but two ready. One needs 2 levels, and I need to catch or buy the other. Edit: Just caught Jarachi!!! It was a tough but fun raid.
I spent all my money trying to get mons to be able to do all the raids. , i have done 3 lmao. theres no way a semi new player can attain all raids comeplete.
Not a fan of of requiring OT mons to participate in raids, that pretty much turned me off entirely from the raid aspect of the event. As someone who mostly plays the game for pvp I don't necessarily feel the need to OT all my competitive mons, which I was planning on using for the raids obviously. You aren't even allowed to use pvp reward pokemon or gift pokemon, which further increases the argument that those mons are useless wastes of box space...
It's just for some raids. You can do Xmas raid without ot. I think it makes 100% sense for some legendary mons tho, especially if they aren't seasonal. It prevents you from farming multiple of them with alts, thus somewhat safeguarding their exclusivity and they also help with the stagnant economy by forcing players to buy mons and breed
Really hating this event its not been fun... feels more like a 80 hour job to build and lvl pokemon rather then having fun and enjoying a event... also where are the freaking shinys 15% bônus and u cant feel it...
Legendaries being locked behing raids sucks ass, I dont have that much free time to play outside of weekends. The 3 star raids were all super easy to solo queue, then the first 4 star raid is damn near impossible. Got like 40 attempts at tangrowth since it dropped and only a few times have my groups gotten close
Wanted to add a revision. Legendary raid for heatran that has no time limit to complete, does not suck ass. Specifically only having 2 weeks to complete 12 raids then also defeat jirachi with my limited time to play the game sucks ass.

14 raids in 2 weeks, during the holidays is too much. I need 3 more but im getting burnt out. I hope they give us an extra week, at least.

Bro i want mew/jirachi so bad but i only have 5 done with 0 motivation to continue, it is brutal man
you don't have to bother with raids and can just buy a Jirachi on the GTL
@@DereIictthat is like skipping a shunt and just buying it from the gtl imo, it wont be the same :/
@@DereIict it was before OT even mattered , now OT actually matters
Ikr its a bit overwhelming to do 12raids
Finished 7 and I think the last 5 are out of reach bc I need to train/breed pokemon to lv80😅

congrats!!
Jirachi is here!!
Real??
If its jirachi im less upset bc i really wanted that mew 🤣
I like the 12 raids, specially if they drop every 16 hours, we still have a few days and all raids are out.

Patrouski my friend, do you know if there are any working custom strings? I just found out about them and it seems none are working : (
Im pretty sure they are hard coded to not work anymore, if you try to use them there will just be a delay anyway like you dont have any strings.
@@MoonlightAcid1 dang, that sucks. Thanks for letting me know, man!
Put a LFG tab in chat so global isnt spammed
Rachi is bonkers for Doubles if its allowed there

Sorry its been rough for you :(
does anyone know if jirachi will be optainable in the future cuz i cant play these days?
I dont think so, its tied to the wishing tags which are event bound. Its similar to shaymin where its a time sensitive legendary to hunt.

You just need to look for decent parners. I did all 12 raids in one day with decent team mates.
